BEWARE: DISHONEST BUSINESS!! On Tuesday, February 8th, I googled this equestrian center to host my daughter's birthday event for April 3rd. I called the number on their website and the business asked to text an event coordinator via WhatsApp (that should've been a red flag). The person who took my information, gave me the various options available and asked for a $500 deposit via zelle, Venmo or CashApp (another red flag) in order to hold the date for April 3rd 2022. Prior to the transaction , I didn't receive terms and conditions nor was I informed about any monies being non refundable prior to the deposit transaction . I submitted the transaction via zelle on the evening of Wednesday February 9th and less than 48 hour I asked for a refund because I had an unexpected expense occur. During this period there was no contract drafted and sent to me. On Friday, February 11th they received approval from the owner, Lina to refund me the money and asked that I give them 24 hours. I reached out to them after 24 hours and they asked to wait until Monday, February 14th . I waited a week to get back to them again and now Lina has refused to honor their word and refund me the deposited money, instead they want me to take a credit. Lina, how do you confirm a refund in writing and then lie about it and deceit the customer? Doesn't your word stand behind what you pretend to represent as a company? I am sharing my conversation so you can see for yourself how unprofessional they are. STAY AWAY from doing any business with them...i have also read in their reviews similar encounters to mine. They don't even deserve a star. On October 15, I reserved the place for an event on December 4. I wanted to celebrate my birthday there. I made the payment of the deposit that they requested to reserve the place. They sent me the contract for me to sign, and I signed it back to them. Apparently, everything had been ready. On Wednesday, November 3, I contacted the person in charge to ask some questions, and they did not answer me. When Mrs. Yulieth called me back, she was very rude and told me that they could no longer rent me the room for my event. I asked her for an explanation, and she told me that they had the right to rent their place as they wanted. Without understanding anything, I asked him for many reasons, and I didn't get any. She told me that later the owner of the place would call me to explain what had happened. After a few hours, a man contacted me who told me that he was the owner and simply told me that he was very sorry but that I couldn't rent the place for my event that specific day. He told me that he had made a contract for a bigger event and that there was nothing to do with mine. He told me the only solution was to change my date. I explained that I had 100 guests and many relatives who will travel from Colombia who had already bought tickets; additionally, I had already made advance payments for food, decoration, sound, DJ, and many other things. Money deposits that I had to lose. These people are not serious, and they are not professionals. At this moment, I have tried to find a place for my event, and since we are less than a month away, it has been impossible. It has been very sad for me, and the true is that I feel that this should not be done to any person. They believed that it was just something for money, but money at this time was not the solution. I need to Find a place. I will attach the contract for all of you to see the truth, and I will attach the picture of the big event they will have on that date. Maybe if you're two years old I had booked an appointment online they had consistently sent me reminders for that appointment all week and at five the day off I was sure to be on time I got there and it was deserted. found someone had no idea I had made an appointment told me he could get me in at 2:30 I had spoken on the phone about riding a Paso Fino a specific breed and then I wanted a trail ride well long story short they put me on a grumpy old horse. I explained I had ridden extensively and a girl proceeded to walk me down the street on. of this horse and I ask her where is the trail she says no it's just on the street so after 20 minutes of walking on the old gray mare down the street with traffic. This place is amazing and has so many options. We are a small office and went horseback riding. Everyone was very kind and the staff was amazing. There is a deer that lives there and is tame. She's so beautiful and came right up to us for lots of pets. The land is so beautiful and they have an absolutely amazing playground. You can rent the pavilion for parties. Love this place. read more
