AMAZING experience!!! My husband surprised me with a horseback sunset ride for Valentine's Day and it was the best present, especially here. The staff was absolutely darling with us, they taught us how to brush the horses before riding, how to clean their hooves and place the saddle ourselves. I really like this because they got us involved in every aspect of the horses, not just the riding. They then had us practice before the trail so we got used to our horses and their personalities and finally we went on an hour and a half trail ride which was absolutely beautiful and serene. At the end of the ride, they were kind enough to take some beautiful pictures of us. I highly recommend this business, the staff truly cares about their animals and their customers having a great experience. read more

What a disappointment my grandchildren wanting to ride a horse. So we decided to try this Redland Equestrian center . They charge us 95.00 dollars for 4 kids. The ride was a horse being walked by a teenager for about 15 mins in the property. My grand kids were in shock kept asking what happen why did we finish so fast. Well I called the owner Susie and never even attempted to explain.. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE . THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY FOR A MEDIOCRE RIDE! Very unprofessional! Very expensive 15 mins on a horse ! This is an insult ! Go to Pinto's Farm it's better and lots of fun! read more

Highly recommend a visit here! Well worth it. Took my daughter and her friends for her 9th birthday and they loved it. The staff is friendly, patient and super helpful. They go through how to groom and properly apply the saddles as well as share their knowledge on horses. Then they take you in the field to practice steering the horse then out through the ranch and on a trail. The kids had a blast and I definitely have a new appreciation for these gentle giants. Each horse is beautiful and unique in their own way. Susie, the owner, is the sweetest person! She and the staff were so welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable and at ease. Our girl scout troop just spent the weekend here and we had an AMAZING time. The girls were provided with an instructional lesson, including information about the horses, grooming, feeding and an opportunity for an instructional ride. Susie is very knowledgeable, as is her staff. The love she has for what she does shines and is seen throughout her property. She and her staff were very patient with the children and were also very encouraging respecting their different levels of comfort. My daughter is a first time rider and we love this place! We took a look at several pricier and more rigidly structured facilities and decided that it just wasn't for us. By contrast, Redland Riding Academy is set on a working farm that my kids love walking about almost as much as the generous time allotted for instruction and riding. Great place for beginner and kids. 2 stables, working farm and incredible service staff. The instructions from the staff are clear and sound..you start out by cleaning, brushing, fitting and saddling your horse..this is all instructor lead..after you walk your house to a working ring, you will get additional instructions and a warmup for both rider and horse before going off on a trail ride. Totally worth the $50 for 3 hours. Call ahead to reserve you spot or spots. Don't just show up. Enjoy this great place. read more

When my three grandchildren came to Miami I took them horseback riding. This was the best outing for them. They are still talking about it. We found out my oldest is a "horse whisperer". It was so sweet to see. And the ride for the 4 year old was unforgettable. The person assigned to us was outstanding and the whole experience was unforgettable. Absolutely not a place for a party even though her website states it's a birthday place. I completely understood her vague email where it states you can't bring decorations. It's an agricularal learning experience. I got that. I was totally okay with it. She said I could ask her questions but when I did, beware of the wrath. She was unprofessional, short, and nasty through her text messages. According to her, she's always in a remote area and unavailable to talk. I took my daughter for a private lesson prior, visited the farm twice, and it was nice. Very western nothing special. No seating arrangements or tables to really place food if you want to cater in. Just a small saloon which has two chairs and two kiddy sized tables. Outside the barn are plastic tables placed wherever. Dirty not clean. You are NOT allowed to even bring one chair or table. Susie the owner, continusely in every text, because she can't talk on a phone, reminded me I could cancel with a $50 refund. Really?? It's 4 days before the event, so called party, so called agricultural experience. I had to cancel. So BEWARE!!! This is just a place to ride and not a place to enjoy her saloon or grill as she suggests in her email. I highly recommend you research as there are many beautiful farms, horse ranches, party venues, that will at least, accomadte an extra chair. Steer clear. Susie is not interested in obtaining your business. read more
