Let me start by saying that, in my experience, this is completely inaccurate. Coaches are not meant to be your child's "friend." Their role is to guide, mentor, teach discipline and build accountability. These are important values that help children grow not only in sports but also in life. Maybe part of the problem today is that many children are being raised on feelings rather than facts, and discipline is sometimes mistaken for being harsh. In reality, structure and accountability are exactly what young athletes need to grow and succeed. I completely trust Coach Mejia with my daughter. She consistently instills responsibility, structure, and accountability in the athletes she coaches, and I truly appreciate the positive impact she has had on my child over the past two years. Thank you Coach Mejia !

We arrived 10 minutes before class, and when I checked in with the front desk, the staff member told me everything was in order. However, about 10 minutes into the class, the coach suddenly pulled my daughter out, saying she wasn't on the list. The front desk staff member was on the phone with another customer and remained on the call for another 10 minutes, offering no assistance. At that point, I decided to leave. No one made any effort to fix the situation, and my daughter never got to do the trial class at all. It was incredibly disappointing for me and for her , it was disrespectful and felt like they simply didn't care.

My little one was a bit shy at first, but the coaches brought him out of his shell and now he's full speed ahead! Observing the overall atmosphere, I feel the happiness and positivity. I can see that safety is strict, and a top priority, but the coaches seem to incorporate it without it being overwhelming for the kids. The kids look happy and excited to be there and seem to love the challenges this sport presents. How they do all those jumps and flips and fly through the air?? Wow!! I'm looking forward to my grandkids moving up through the different levels as they get older. But right now, they're having sooo much fun!

My daughter is blessed with a natural athletic build and is very active. She is also labeled with ASD, but is extremely high functioning, verbal and social. She takes ballet twice a week. My daughter joins the class thats starts running around the mats, and within the first 10 minutes of the stretching exercises, this old lady comes over and rudely asks "who's child is that?" "She doesn't belong here." I told them that I had mentioned on the phone prior to attending, that my daughter was only 5, and it was her first time. I then went on to tell them she ASD, but is high functioning. The man asked me "what is that?" I told him Autism, and he still didn't seem to know what that was. The old lady comes over again, to say that she cannot be in this class, that this is not the place for her, which starts to piss me off frankly because she's kicking out my 5 year old for not following along with stretches, even though it was her 1st time ever and no one was even showing her what to do! They were literally kicking us out! Aside from the fact that she is special needs, why would they have me come to this class knowing that my daughter is only 5 in kindergarten. She was trying to follow along and keep up with the stretches, but they were moving rather quickly and apparently they had some 3rd graders in that class. As I was explaining this, the old lady is pressuring us to leave, without offering an alternative. I told the man how rude the lady was, and all he says is " I don't disagree with you, but she can't keep up." And that's it. I left, and cried in the parking lot because I couldn't believe how ignorant and cruel people could be towards children, especially children with special needs. My daughter could totally do this, but they would give her a chance! Wouldn't even teach her the stretch exercises! They just expected her to follow everyone. I should've sued those jerks because this felt like discrimination.
