I then followed up with a phone call to start my granddaughter in their Saturday summer program and was blessed to deal with Ruth. She helped me set up an account to pay and enroll my granddaughter and welcomed us to the Armour Dance family. This past Saturday my daughter took my granddaughter for the first class with Ms. Rachel, the teacher for that age group, and was extremely pleased with her and her manner of teaching. I was able to view some videos my daughter took, and as a previous ballet student and teacher, was extremely impressed with her teaching and her interactions with the students. I have enrolled my granddaughter for their upcoming school year ballet classes, highly recommend this studio and feel fortunate to have found them.

She changed the pricing on me. Then when I spoke with her on the phone, she scoffed and hung up on me, only reaffirming my decision to not book a party here.

It's definitely a skill that requires lots of practice but even if you just go a few times you will get a full body workout. The levels in the class are mixed which o liked because there were newbies like me who were lost and tired and trying it best to look pretty. I had purchased a living social deal for a month long aerial. During Hurricane Irma, the studio was closed for two weeks, due to lack of power. I had about two weeks left and when I had text the owner to ask if they would honor at least one week of what was left and his response was a flat no. Then they proceeded to ask me, via text mind you, if I had to pay my bills during the hurricane, because they did and that is why they couldn't honor the time I was missing. Now I had also purchased a voucher for a friend as a gift, which she used months after the fact. I wanted to go join her for a class, which I then paid out of pocket. She got sick so that day I canceled via the Mindbody app. I had called two hours before the class to see if I could apply the credit towards another class and no one answered the phone. When I was finally able to get a hold of someone, the owner, it was after the class and he rudely informed that I was not allowed a refund since I had canceled less than six hours prior. Had I known I wouldn't have gotten and refund and had they answered the phone when I initially called twice, I would have gone to the class without my friend. He then proceeded to tell me that it was not his fault that I was irresponsible. I told him I would gladly pay a fee for canceling within six hours, but would like to have part of what I paid honored and yet again he proceeded with the fact that the rent needs to be paid and that it was not his problem. I had told him that I was trying to refer business, but seeing the two experiences with him, that I would no longer be doing so. My friend also had another bad experience with the owner, Manny. Overall, the level of unprofessionalism and lack of customer service has made me update this review to the one star you see. This does not reflect the instructor, Scarlett, who was extremely nice, but the owner, Manny is killing his own business with being the way that he is. I will never go back, nor will I ever recommend anyone to this place. What an amazing workout! Ladies and gents, if you're looking for a unique way to workout or just incorporate something new into your regular routine, then this is a great option! I came across this studio on Groupon, which offers unlimited aerial silk classes for a month for $40.00 (totally worth it). Now the studio isn't very big, but they can accommodate up to ten people per class. Our instructor, Scarlette was great! She took her time to warm us up and to explain everything we were doing. We ended up doing 3 stretched and about 4 other poses. Now it will kick your butt since you are fully using your body weight and full body power to do all of this, but you will feel great once you're done. It's definitely a full body work out. They do offer other types of classes and you can check them out on their website. I'll definitely be using my Groupon to the fullest :)

The staff was very accommodating to my schedule and the instructor spent an enormous amount of time teaching me techniques and skills to practice. I have more confidence to develop the skills I need for my show. He worked on my agility , strength and flexibility ;all tools I believe a great gymnast at any age can use. Thank you!! Balance has gone through some changes (as many gyms do) within our time here, and they go through each change gracefully. Yes, we would all love to see our kids from some amazing viewing spot, but all buildings sadly can't accommodate that, and sometimes it's best for the focus of the growing gymnasts as well. Reid, Liz, Miss Janet, Diana, Nolan, Kevin, Adriana, Gavin, and even those no longer at Balance have all been great motivators and do their best to know each child they see on a regular basis. We've never felt like just a number here- even on the busiest of days. Parking can be frustrating at times, but when isn't it in Miami? The pricing is fair, and the place is always clean.

This complaint is regarding a dance studio where my daughter was enrolled as a dancer for nearly…read morethree years. Throughout that time, she was not consistently happy, and on multiple occasions we attempted to withdraw her from the program. Each time, the studio insisted that she remain, stating that she was needed and offering to keep her enrolled at no charge due to her talent. All payments were required exclusively through Zelle; no other payment methods were accepted. Competition costumes were priced at what appeared to be double their reasonable value, and we were also charged for competition classes that frequently lacked instruction because teachers repeatedly left the studio. This instability significantly affected my daughter's experience and contributed to her dissatisfaction. Eventually, we notified the studio that we would no longer continue. In response, the owner sent a letter threatening legal action unless we paid an additional $500. This demand came after we had already paid approximately $1,200 for competition costumes. While I understand that competition costumes may be non-refundable, it is completely unacceptable that the studio is refusing to release costumes that were fully paid for. Retaining paid property without justification is unreasonable and unheard of. Additionally, when attempting to resolve the alleged balance, we requested to pay via cashier's check to ensure proper documentation and proof of payment. This was refused. The studio would only accept cash, which raises serious concerns about transparency and business practices. Given the lack of professionalism, unstable staffing, restrictive payment methods, and the withholding of paid property, I find these practices disrespectful to students and families. It is not surprising that many dancers are leaving. A business operating in this manner should be held accountable.
