Bon Puf does not have a brick and mortar storefront (yet??) but I had to write a review for them because I had an opportunity to sample several of their organic and naturally flavored cotton candy pufs.
Anyone who knows me knows I have a serious sweet tooth, and I love all things kitschy and fun too. I even bought a little home machine and spun fresh cotton candy at a friend's baby shower a little over a year ago. I just love this kind of thing!
Anyhow, Bon Puf had a setup at the Unique LA "Fake Prom" and we tried the lychee green tea and the mango chili. The mango chili was my personal favorite with its dusting of chili powder on top, but I'm a sucker for sweet and spicy anything. The lychee green tea had its own festive dash of matcha powder, and the boys preferred that one.
Bon Puf does events and you can hire them to cater a bridal shower, a birthday party, or even a corporate lunch for a little taste of whimsy. They will travel to you in SoCal (for a fee) as well.
I hope I soon have an opportunity to sample some of their other fanciful flavor combinations:
- Sugar Cookie with sprinkles
- Honey Rose
- Horchata
- The Aloha (watermelon, banana & coconut swirled together topped with ling hi mui powder!)
- Chai Tea
- Salted Caramel
- Pop Puf (pure vanilla topped with Pop Rocks - a double fun explosion of yum!)
- Sparkle Puf (hello, they dust edible glitter on top!)
