Waitress name: Aubri Date of visit: 07/26/2020 Check print time: 11:07pm Table: 60/3 Subtotal: $49.69 First time here and most likely my last time. We had a party of 8 and ran into too many issues. The first 5 topics below were issues that me and my gal ran into. Following that will be problems that our party had. 1) Drink Confusion - I ordered a Modelo and my girl ordered a Pearl Harbor. They brought both drinks out together and handed me my Modelo but brought the Cocktail to the table behind us. The customer at the table drank is and said it wasn't there's. Waitress told them she was going to charge them because she drank some of it. We had to flag the waitress down a few mins later after we noticed she didn't figure out the Pearl Harbor belonged to us. Food comes out later and we still haven't received the Pearl Harbor cocktail. Asked the waitress and she says they're working on it. 2) Used Lemon - I ordered shrimp tacos and they provided me with 3 slices of lemons. My 2nd slice of lemon appeared to have been used. It was squeezed and had two holes it in as if someone bit into it. I just shrugged it off and left it at that. 3) Skimpy Condiment - I asked for hot sauce and they brought a small amount only enough for one taco. It only filled up the small stainless steel sauce cup less than a quarter of the way. Why so stingy? 4) Double Charge - The check comes out later and we noticed that we got charged for TWO Pearl Harbor drinks. We brought it to the waitress attention and she fixed it. 5) Double Charge in Mixed Drink Tax - We reviewed the secondary receipt she brings out and noticed that we got charged $1.34 for "Mixed drink Tax." We only ordered one Modelo and one Pearl Harbor. The Pearl Harbor was $8. Tax for that one cocktail should have been $0.66. Below are the issues the rest of our party ran in to: 6) Drink Timing - During the same time we ordered our drinks, one of my buddies ordered a draft beer but never got it. We were all half way done eating by now and he had to remind the waitress that he never received the beer. She replies and says that they are backed up at the bar. Backed up was an overstatement. We were there way before 11pm to begin with. 7) Wrong Refill - My buddy asks for a refill on his drink (water). The waitress walks out and hands him a Dr Pepper. He told her he had water so she turns around to walk back and change the drink. My other buddy stops her and asks what drink it was and so he said he'll take it since he needed a refill on his soda anyways. 8) Soda Refill Charge - The one that asked to take the soda ended up getting charged for a soda refill. 9) Condiment Charge - My other buddy who ordered ranch to go with his meal ended up getting charged $1.00 for the small cup of ranch. What restaurant/bar charges for condiments?? 10) Clueless Management - As we walked out, one of my buddies spoke with the M.O.D and asks him if they normally charge for soda refills. The manager said he didn't know and bit he will find out for us. He begins to page someone and asks about it. How do you manage a restaurant/bar and not know the answer to a basic question? The owner of this location needs to complete a thorough audit on the entire establishment and team. Did not expect any of this walking in initially. We are very upset about our experience tonight. Never once in my life have I ever questioned whether or not to leave a tip until tonight. I still left a tip for the waitress at the end of the night though but it just didn't feel right. People normally tip for the awesome service and hospitality but I kept asking myself where was the service and hospitality at? I felt robbed at this point. Ok during my COVID VISIT here is something I wanted to share. I wanted to give my honest opinion of this place. I think it was great that the outdoor patio was open and definitely spacious throughout. So Covid seating you are safe. Our waitress was wearing a mask and gloves every time she approached the table. Actually every drink and food runner wore safety measures. So I did feel safe being there. The reason for my 2 stars. The customer service is something I pay attention to. We sat down and probably did not get greeted for 20 mins. It took awhile for our server to come around to get orders. The food, we ordered the starter platter which was good. Most of it was tasty! So that was good. We ordered two salads, a dinner cesar and a bbq chicken salad. The dinner Cesar salad was a little drenched with the dressing but that's my fault! I usually get dressing on the side. The food overall was yummy and not bad. I wish I had an appetite to eat more food. So overall, the food i tried was good. Buddy of mine and I have been at our table for 50 minutes and have yet to be greeted by a waitress. Had to go to the bar to get our beers/drinks. The only reason they aren't getting 1 Star is because the lady's behind the bar are on point and quick. The wait staff were absolutely unfriendly virtually from the second we walked in. Our waitress was just miserable, like we were bothering her to order something. Honestly I think she would have thrown our drinks to us if she could. There was a New Orleans Saints game on and some staff seemed to be more interested in that than taking our orders. We ordered the Southwest eggrolls as an app, and when they made it to the table they were still frozen on the inside. We sent them back with our waitress, and when our dinner was put on the table so was THIS plate. They clearly took the frozen eggrolls and threw them in the microwave sauce and all. They overheated them, and as you can see scooped the filling back into some but not others. They were completely empty on the inside. The sauce container was distorted, and a thick film on the top of the chipotle sauce. I ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich, and when my food made it to the table it was a grilled chicken sandwich with a side of buffalo sauce thrown on my plate. Have visited this place 4 times since they opened. Always have an old fashion and always been charged $7.25. Took my son today for lunch for a salad. Ordered and old fashion and another. When the bill came I was charged for 4. The waitress says on old fashions we always charge doubles for old fashions. Manager comes over and I tell her my problem, she sides with waitress and says it is what it is, pay your tab. I explain that I've Ben here four times and always charged $7.25. July 29th 2022 at 3:00pm I ordered ribs with grilled chicken, mushrooms, and broccoli. The ribs wre juicy but flavorless. They almost tasted boiled. The grilled chicken was incredibly dry. The mushrooms were slimy. I assume they are steamed in a plastic bag. The broccoli was good though. My servers were Camila and Ellen. They provided impeccable service. They were attentive, communicated well, looked professional, and moved with a purpose. The facility probably isn't paying them what they're worth. The atmosphere is a typical sports bar. We have been to this location a few times and never had a problem dining in. We just did a to go order and found out when we came home that one of our burgers was switched with someone else's. When we called the restaurant we were told that we would have to come straight back to the restaurant so they can see the food that they messed up as if we were making this up. They didn't apologize and just gave us that option. I asked to speak with a manager. When I told her the response we were given and that neither employee apologized, she half heartedly appoglized and told me they were new and that is the reason for the terrible customer service. She offered to give us a free meal and asked for our name and if we could come back another day. I gave her our name and she abruptly hung up. I saw the 2 star review but didn't think it was accurate based on our previous experience, but now I see why they are rated so low. Also in case anyone was interested in their rewards program, they do not participate in it. They shouldn't have the Katy location listed in the app if this is the case, but whatever. Do not book corporate events at this place very discriminatory practices as far as the amount of drinks you can order as a group. One of the members of our team was of a different nationality and was placing orders for shots who is no different from anybody else in our group and previously in the night placing orders for drinks but this person was singled out and told he they can no longer place orders for drinks without any explanation! Meanwhile other groups there just as long, if not longer than our group was 'hooping and hollering' lots of people came in smelling of marijuana and they were allowed to use his facility as they saw fit with no restrictions. Waitress was okay. My friends' food looked okay. But I'm not pleased with the drinks or shady pricing. My tab alone was $138 with zero food. I drank double vodkas (my usual) and did not taste or feel a thing. The bill was confusing because I offered to buy 3 shots for my friend's bday, but it looked like it was rung up that I had ELEVEN vodkas myself plus the shots! Yeah, I wouldn't be able to stand, talk or walk if that was the case. When we questioned the waitress, my bill came back $19 higher! I'm not one to ever bitch about a tab as I live and learn, but this was one for the record books. $140 for my tab (no food, no buzz). $60 for my friend (no buzz), $90 for my other friend who had wings but drank only beers (he had a buzz but they can't exactly short you on beer so good for him). I'm a regular bar patron at many places, but I'm 97% sure this establishment waters down their liquor bottles. Also, many of the glasses had residue of previous drinks in them. My second drink was sweet as can be when it was supposed to be vodka and soda only. I cannot drink sugar. Told the waitress that it may be tonic instead (it happens) and she came back with the same drink and said the bartender promises it is soda. I realized later that it was sugar residue (orange sugar flakes) at the bottom of the glass that caused the taste difference. Also also, My friend ordered a $15 sandwich (from the QR code online app menu) and it showed as $18 on the bill. He questioned it as well and got the run around. Neither of us are ever concerned about a few bucks here or there, but this was a terrible experience and deceptive pricing. If you look at my history, I usually only post positive reviews. In fact I don't think I have posted a negative review ever. I will never, ever go back to this location, will never bring a client here, will tell all friends and family to avoid it. If I knew we were going to spend $300 and still be sober and hungry, I would have opted for much better experience elsewhere. read more

There was never any condiments brought out to the table so I have to flag down one of them managers for ketchup and ranch. By that time my brother is practically done with his meal . They had the XFL playinG on ALL the TVs I thought it was a sports bar you can watch a variety of sports I couldn't get one tv so it is what it is. I didn't try the food thE lemon iCe water was cool though. RESPONSE TO MANAGEMENT: To be clear I asked for the one small tv at the table I was sitting to play the game I was interested in. As a potential paying patron I would suspect that is the least I could get at the table I was sitting. While the XFL may have been a "big deal" the place was not at capacity therefore the little tv would have not made a difference in the grand scheme of things. I didn't do my research... the menu looked okay online especially since we weren't sure what we wanted to eat but we knew we wanted Beer and Margaritas...On a Thursday evening (Friday Eve) the only beers on draft were supermarket beers...Corona , Dos Equis, Michelob etc. the others on the menu were not available - NOT ONE PREMIUM BEER. So, we settled for 2 Mayday Margaritas... a $15 Margarita (that's not a terribly bad price if it's a good Margarita and if the size pictured was delivered...) BUT, ALAS...it was just ice and very weak. Bombshells bombed and we won't be back. Very disappointing experience. Our pictures show the ice in the glasses. The water cup shows how much water was poured from the glass in to the margarita glass with ice.. so, about a quarter cup of Margarita for $15 ... no, thank you! read more

We have been coming to this location and lately the service is been the worse, this the second bad experience, we had to wait 30 minutes just to be moved to a different table and again for another 15 minutes. Waiters and management never approached to explain why the waiting, they just walked by and ignores our request, finally we left with another two tables because they were not helped either, and manager was on the phone all the time and never responded to our request to speak with her, hostess became very aggressive and nasty when we tried to find a explanation and help. About 10 min security came over and RUDLY told my husband he needs to take his hood off his head. With no explanation. My husband a non confrontational guy took it off.
