At first if you look at the building you'll think it's a strip club or disco from how it's built with the heavy doors & the way the door faces. Girls are indeed scantily clad,but it's just a normal 'Breasturant' or Sports Bar like a Hooters,Twin Peaks etc but with a Mexican theme? Large & roomy inside,has several sections,one with 4 pool tables. TV's everywhere,and I do mean 'everywhere'. Food & Service is rather good for this type of place,I got the Beef Enchiladas w/Spanish Rice & Refried Beans. Large portions on a large place and it was very good. Beans I think even were cooked with Lard or Bacon Grease as they ought to be? The only demerit I can give is this: The waitresses for the most part either can't or won't speak English. If you can't/don't speak Spanish/Mexican or aren't with someone who can ordering might be an issue past the 'Point at the Item on the Menu you want' interaction. (Which luckily for me that worked?) Its primarily customers are Mexican, but not just Mexican. The facility is very clean and welcoming for families of all sizes and ages. Bombones is one of those breastaurant type bars smacked down at the border of Dallas and Garland. Upon parking, the look of the entrance will make you feel you're about to enter a strip club (big ass solid door, no windows). The inside is divided into 4 sections. Bar sitting to your right, another bar sitting to your left + diners booth and tables and then the outside area. The host say us at a table and there's a few families dining. First I did is to look around to see what are other people are eating. Most of then are having a burger with their choice of cerveza. I ordered their Bombones Burger and my bf ordered the Mexican Burger. My burger had beef patty, ham, fajita meat and avocado. It was good and something I would order again. Service was ok except for the part where we requested for mustard and our server said they don't have mustard. We pointed out to her that their American Burger comes with a choice of mayo or mustard and she just looked at us and said "ok" Would comeback if in the area but would not drive all the way to east Dallas just for this place. read more

I went during lunch and it was not busy at all but the staff took their time to come take our order... never came to ask if we needed refills and had to go find our waitress to get our check. Update on response: i have no problem paying over the phone! Train your staff to not lie to us so they don't have to take my order over the phone. This has happened often and they always sound lost or must find someone else that speaks English. I speak Spanish fine but they're in a rush to get off the phone with me i couldn't even tell them. The worst place to have a drink , wait for about 20 min hoping somebody come to take my order and nobody care ,

I am a regular and we went to join some friends on Feb. 18th at 10pm, Our server was Mercedes, I'm not familiar with her. We waited till about 10:38pm and i messaged one of the girls that usually serve me, Stephanie and asked her to serve us. She came over and took our orders. The night went on and our table was never cleared or asked about orders from the waitress. So Stephanie came and cleaned our table and sent over a bus boy. The other people at our table had to go to the bar to put in their drink orders. So proceed to speak to the manager Kim to let her know about the tomfulley, once i walked over the waitress proceeded to scream at the manager once she asked her politely to check on her table because she has had multiple complaints and that it was her only table. I was appalled. The waitress then proceed to go to our table and tell everyone its the bars fault, but that makes no sense because how can it be the bars fault that she didn't attend us correctly and get our orders. I then walked over to the manager to let her know that it was very unprofessional of the waitress to come over and blame of the departments of the restaurant for her short comings. Then the manager walked over and the waitress proceeded to yell at the manager infront of our whole table. Never in my life have i ever seen a situation like this transpire at Bombones. Kim and Stephanie apologized to our whole table for the young lady Mercedes behavior. Worse place to watch a fight, ever! 20 bucks to sit there and watch a fight but the audio was on a soccer game or Spanish music. Music is nice touch but we are not paying 20 bucks a head to listen during a fight night. This place is a cross over between a Twin Peaks and a Latin-American sports bar. There are PLENTY of things to see here, including large screen TV's showing all sorts of sports channels in English (NBA, NFL Network) and Spanish (Univision Deportes, Telemundo, etc.). Of course, let's get the obvious out of the way and say that there are also a number of attractive waitresses running around, serving tables and creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere that gives a place like this its vibe. Many, if not all of the waitresses are bi-lingual and can take orders in English and Spanish. They are all friendly without being obnoxiously "cute" or trying to hard. I saw many families with children there, so this is NOT a "guys only" club and the staff works very hard to not make it a gratuitous showing of skin. This is a fun sports bar/grill atmosphere with a Latino twist. Food wise, I was left a little disappointed...but in full disclosure I chose what is probably NOT their specialty. I ordered a dozen hot wings and fried pickles and while they were brought out quickly, the pickles were slightly greasy and the wings a bit cooler than "fresh out the fryer". The wings did have a spicy kick to them, but were a little salty. Overall though, my experience was a good one. I did not regret going here and I may be back to try other things on the menu. I and my co-worker went to Bombones for the first time yesterday and and it was a little uninviting but our server was nice. We ordered two beers with the fried pickles and loaded fries. Unfortunately, when our food arrived it came with a roach and after 20 min of trying to locate our server she did attend to the matter and just charged us for the beers. I would have liked to speak with a manager but she stated they were not available so we just left. I couldn't believe how many tvs were in this place. You can literally not miss a moment of a game..they even have TVs in the restroom! Ive never seen this in a restaurant before. The food was good and came out really fast. I personally got the burrito which came with rice and beans. If you like to drink there is a bar, and there is plenty of room especially if you count the outside section of the restaurant. First time there 8/30/17. I noticed 2 security guards up front made me wonder why. It was just two of us and they sat us in a big booth. Girls had skimpy outfits so there's eye candy for the guys. Food came out quickly. They put chili powder on the fries. I had the grilled chicken fajitas salad. The lettuce was wilted and once again chili powder on the chicken. WTH?!
