We got bang bang shrimp. 6/10 It was heavily breaded & sauce was very sweet, no heat. Sweet potato fries 9/10 Seasoned great & loved the garlic aioli Jalapeno cornbread 7/10 I wish it had more jalapeno flavor & pieces. Also, they didn't have butter. It needed a honey butter with it. My hubby loved his smoked turkey breast. He also loves their pork. Next time I'd get the fried shrimp so I can try the sauces with them. We've been to the Munster location many times. Dear Bombers BBQ Ownership and Management, I am writing to bring to your attention the disappointing treatment I received today at your Crown Point location. I am a registered nurse and visited during my lunch break to purchase five chicken wings and a small macaroni and cheese. The employee who assisted me, whose name I understood to be Laila E., responded sharply when I asked whether I could receive all flats, stating, "No, we don't accommodate people for all flats." When I asked whether she could check with a manager, she told me he would give the same answer. After I repeated my request, she asked him, and he accommodated me on this occasion, which I appreciated. I would have accepted a respectfully explained policy; the dismissive tone was unnecessary. I also specifically asked that my rewards points be applied. I frequently patronize your Munster location and have spent $200-$300 on some occasions. Despite my request, my points were not added. After I paid, she walked away while I was attempting to ask to speak with a manager. When I eventually explained my concerns to the manager, he questioned whether she had really been that aggressive and said she was one of his best employees. His response left me feeling that my experience was being doubted before it had been fairly considered. Although he said he would speak with her, I left feeling dismissed rather than heard. As a nurse, I understand demanding workdays. I also understand that frustration does not excuse treating others disrespectfully. Every customer deserves courtesy, regardless of the size of their order or the request they make. This experience has cost Bombers BBQ a loyal customer. I will not return to the Crown Point location or continue spending my money at your restaurants. My purpose in writing is to make ownership aware of what occurred and give you an opportunity to address it. I would appreciate a response explaining how this concern will be handled and how my missing rewards points can be corrected. Thank you for your time and attention. read more

The half pound of turkey was really good. I also recommend the sweet potato fries. Seems a little pricey but, I enjoy the quality of the food here. They are set up where you order at the counter upon entering and then they call your name when it is ready. The restaurant has an industrial feel to it with concrete floors and airplane (bombers) art work. They have a great selection of self pour beer. read more

Long awaited visit to Bombers BBQ and was very disappointing. Before treating my family to dinner there, I went to try it out. I'm glad I did this before Treating my family to what would have been a very expensive and unsatisfactory meal. Ordered a Brisket Sandwich and it was extremely dry. I preordered a pick up order for a client lunch that I had today - I am from Chicago and they requested that I order from Bombers BBQ so this was a first time visit for me so of course I had to order a little something for myself - I tried the chili cheese fries - sinfully delicious and I felt immediate guilt for eating them:0 It was very convenient that I could order this the day before to be ready at a certain time the next day for pick up. Today they had it ready for me at the time I requested and the staff couldn't have been nicer! When I got to my client's office I was setting out the food and realized that one of the lunches was missing - of course it was the lunch for the pregnant lady....I felt SO bad as I did not have time to go back and get the lunch before my presentation even though it was close by. I called Bombers to let them know and they were very apologetic and to make it up to me one of the staff members delivered it to the client's office within 10 minutes. That's customer service for you and it is SO lacking these days. When a company goes above and beyond to make it right it goes a long way. Since I do not live in town I thought the least I could do was give a little shout out and make sure this good deed and fine customer service did not go unnoticed. Stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday evening. The service was quick and the staff was fine. We ordered the brisket nachos and a 2 meat plate with a side of Mac and cheese. Unfortunately the Mac and cheese was the best part of our meal. The fried shrimp had a decent flavor, but the breading fell right off. The burnt ends were a bit chewy, and the nachos were just average. The beer wall was cool, although we were not drinking. Fun pinball machines to try out after dinner. read more

Bombers is the bomb for real. Please excuse the pun but, honestly, just so good. They never disappoint. We first went when they were located in the tiniest spot in Munster. And then the bigger location in Munster. Not surprised at all they they've opened additional location in Crown Point. The food just as good as ever and the service is amazing as per the usual. This location has quarter fed arcade games... my college aged son spent too much money but had so much fun. They do have a lot for parking. read more

We never experience bad service here! The food is always amazing and comes out in a short amount of time. I always look forward to coming here and we have a tradition to get it pretty much every Sunday. Our favorite go get is the brisket poutine and the turkey! Best BBQ in Crown Point. Hard to find but hard to forget. They have specials so check it out! The pork belly burnt ends on Sunday's only are AMAZINGLY good. Staff is friendly and fairly quick. They also have a beer wall (self tap) and pinball games. Everything on the menu is awesome! read more

I think this is the best barbecue place in Northwest Indiana. I usually go here once a week just for the brisket chili. They always have a unique egg roll side dish. If you are a barbecue fan you must try that brisket sandwich. read more

Bombers took Taco Tuesday to a new level!! The tacos have shredded pork that is seasoned perfectly, cilantro and onion! The sauce had a slight kick to it but it was not spicy. The restaurant was very clean. The staff and service were also great! read more

Huge bombers fan here but this one is Not nearly as good as the Munster location. Solid for the need for bbq but I'd take backyard bbq in cedar lake over this location. For the amount you pay you expect impeccable bbq and this location the meats don't taste nearly as smoky and delicious as the Munster location... relatively bland was very disappointed by the meh here. read more

So CP went from having NO BBQ restaurants, to having two of them. Big "thank you" to Bombers for coming here! I had the brisket and shrimp, both were very good. Also tried the mac n cheese, and jalapeño corn bread. The corn bread was a bit dry, but still very tasty. Mac n cheese was great, it was cheesy and creamy. Ill be back for the wings soon! The are a few choices of sauce, which was great to have options. The place is small, and tucked behind two other eateries. As others have said, very expensive. We were looking forward to trying the new place but were terribly disappointed. The carryout was handed to me with the containers placed sideways in the bag instead of sitting squarely on the bottom. Grease everywhere. Placed an order for $85, which included 25 wings for $42.00. The wings were not what we are use to, greasy and not blackened as usual. Sent photos and I was offered replacement after 40 minutes and my family had eaten. I needed to bring back at least 20 wings to the corrected order. This was my third visit. I ordered smoked wings and brisket. They were both incredible, but the wings stole the show. They were moist and flavorful. I wish I had ordered more. Brisket was fork tender, perfectly smoked. I had mustard sauce which I really enjoyed. Someone remarked that the food is too expensive. I don't think it is too expensive. Compared to similar bbq places, it's in the right range for smoked meat. Man, this is craft work here...it takes a lot of skill to smoke meat properly.
