Worth of 20 minutes of drive. The food is very good just wish they have Coke fountain drinks instead of Pepsi when you order a combo but that's ok. This place will be successful for business and survive while Merrillville is a declining town. read more

I bought a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Taste was fine, but very greasy very I could not eat at all. I couldn't even eat a third of it.

This place was a pleasant surprise! I ordered the Philly steak and it comes with lettuce, grilled onions, tomatoes cheese (omg the CHEESE) and mayo . This was such a filling meal and so so fresh and hot! I love that everything is made to order so you might have to wait for a little bit (worth it) I really enjoyed the fresh lemonade options as well(I had the watermelon) they also offer the best slices of cake for dessert(yum) . There's several Philly options available but I feel like if you can order an original and it tastes amazing , the rest will be just as good ! The employees were super friendly and polite . There's quite a few options in the menu but not in an overwhelming way. They even have butter garlic fries (insert drool emoji) The prices are also more than fair and you get a big bang for your buck ! Everything was better than expected and I definitely will return . Service was good. Ordered Cheese Steak Combo and 2 Double cheeseburgers. The Fries with the cheese steak combo were under cooked and not enjoyable. Cheese Steak was Ok but my question is how my order total ended up as $29.93? Cheese Steak combo is $11.58, there is a small sign that you don't notice until after ordering advertising 2 double cheeseburgers for $7.99 (just the burgers without fries) understood and exactly what I ordered. So bill should be somewhere around $19.57 before tax.....sooo let's say $4 or so for tax....how did we get to $29. I didn't even mention it....even tipped extra $5 for the folks and that brought the grand total up to $34.93. Just seems like something was a bit wonky with pricing or honoring what your little double cheeseburger sale sign says. Again....fries....terrible...work on that for sure. I am so disappointed in this place I will NEVER RETURN. You have to tell them to put on gloves to make food. I went in tonight to get food I put my order in and the gentleman that took my money had only one glove on and he used that same glove the ENTIRE TIME I was waiting for my food. The gentleman on the grill had to be ask to put gloves on before he handled my cheese. The lady that was working as well didn't have gloves on either and she was scratching her hair. This place is where you want to go for a great messy and delicious meal. I ordered the rib eye sandwich which was so messy I used so many napkins. It was a bit fatty but I was not upset about it. I got cheese fries and a lemonade of course and the fries were perfect and oh my gosh that lemonade. It was soooo good! My friend went Taco Tio that's connected because she wasn't feeling a sandwich so you can probably find something for everyone in your party. Friendly, great prices and an extensive menu. Don't be stressed if you see a lot of people standing at the counter waiting for their food. They do a lot of carryout along with the dine in and they have an efficient machine from ordering to cooking to handing you your order - it goes quickly. The Philly Steak is amazing as is the gyros as is everything I've tried. The Italian Beef is excellent too. They have an open wall between them and the sister restaurant, Taco Tia, so you can accommodate everyone in your group. read more

11/16/2019 stopped in and bought a gyro with fries and Philly cheesesteak with fries. Wow, absolutely the best fries I have ever eaten. The sandwich's were awesome as well!!!! Place is a little dirty a dive for sure. Italian beef was not loaded with flavor but they give you a lot of meat. Meat had fatty bits on a lot of the pieces. The fries were really good. Sort of bummed about the philly beefs.... they are Midwest beefs (use mozzarella instead of cheese wiz or white American) read more
