I hadn't planned to eat that whole thing, the Lunch Carnitas, but it was so good, did anyway. My plate more attractive than hubby's, but the food was excellent. We saw flan on the dessert menu and couldn't pass that up-- and so glad we didn't! The BEST flan (smooth creamy custard goodness) and large enough helping that it worked for both of us, surrounded by a delicious hard sauce. Busy but happy, friendly service, and music as background, not so loud we couldn't talk (but of course, we were very busy eating!). Price reasonable for the food and we'll be back.

I would not recommend dining here if it is super cold outside since, they have one entry door and when it opens it lets all of the cold air in. Also, this is probably good advice for any Mexican restaurant - do not wear clothes here that you don't want to smell like Mexican food. That goes for your coat too. You will smell like Mexican food if you enter this restaurant.

Drinks: Draft Modelo (fine) Classic Margarita for $11 it was a very small glass and was the worse I ever tasted. Definitely premix margarita. They don't serve traditional tortilla chips with salsa. Serve hard shell tortillas called tostadas with a very little cup of ceviche, green chili sauce and bowl of red salsa. (different but nothing special or outstanding) Appetizer: Calamari nothing outstanding Main Dish: Torta w/ fries (had better) tho price is reasonable Carne Asada asked for double rice received fries. Finally got rice and it was dry like it was from bottom of pot. Asked for skirt steak to be medium it was well. Skirt steak was thick and not tenderized like other restaurants carne asadas. Plate had lettuce and diced tomatoes. Corn tortillas were dry. Steak was good in all even though it is not the way I am use to. Some items on menu are pricey. Plates of food look nothing like pictures online unfortunately. I don't recommend as there are plenty over abundantly other better Mexican Restaurants around the area.
