As dreadful as that may seem to some, it is s simply a result of successfully delivering delicious food. Every time I've eaten here I've always enjoyed my meal and had enough leftovers for an additional meal. My first time eating here I had the Aga's or Mixed Platter and regardless of which, it was great! Literally everything on the platter is well seasoned and it comes with so many different meats that I can't list them all, so you'll just have to try for yourself to see if you agree. The only asterisk I'll add is I don't like the meat consistency on the Chicken Bihari. It's not seasoned bad but the texture makes it a pass for me. I've also had the Chicken Platter a couple times and again simply delicious and flavor. Unfortunately it also had the Chicken Bihari on it. As you see I keep ordering platters here that have the Chicken Bihari on them and eating them up still. I really need to remember I don't like it to ask for extra Chicken Boti instead. I also had the Chicken Biryani and it again is really good. My only thing is I don't care for the nuts or seeds in the dish or the bones in the chicken pieces. The garlic naan bread is exactly what it's supposed to be, adding another element to an already delicious meal. It could be a tad more flavorful but even still it is good and cooked well. Anytime I've dined in I've had the Mango Lassi and enjoyed it. Most recent visit the person with me had the Sparkling Strawberry drink and they enjoyed it so I think I'll try it next time. This isn't right next to me so I don't think of it sometimes but each time I have it I'm reminded of what a disservice I'm doing to myself by not eating here more.

The flavor of the sauce on the butter chicken was pretty outstanding. Wasn't a fan of the chicken in the sauce it was kinda chewy and rubbery, the naan was great but $3.50 ish for naan seems kinda steep. The Ladoo looked great and I think I need it to get to room temp for the sugar crystals to dissolve a little but otherwise it was perfect. Staff not super friendly or welcoming but I wasn't dining in, and food service industry people don't get treated well so I'm not salty about it.

While waiting in the small waiting area I heard someone coughing in the back and thought "OMG I hope that wasn't over my food." I noticed a customer who came did not speak English. I thought "hmm I guess this place has food authentic enough that it reminds them of home." From first appearance, the restaurant is unimpressive. The tiny waiting area did not inspire me to think that great food was awaiting me. But, my food was ready in 15 minutes. I ordered the Saag Paneer, and a garlic and butter Naan. From the 1st bite of the Paneer I knew it was a winner! The taste was smooth and silky, I tasted familiar herbs taking me back to my first experience many many years ago. I tried the garlic and butter Naan and they were OK, hot just as expected. I didn't give 5 stars because of the cramps waiting area and lack of aesthetics. I recommend this restaurant and try different dishes. GN3

We had a plane to catch later that day, so were elated to find that they were serving a buffet lunch, i.e. no long wait to order food and wait for it to be prepared and brought to our table, as happened at Aga's the last time we went---a whopping 30-45 minute wait! A tell-tale sign of good things in any Indian restaurant: the large venue was 90% full and we were the only folks NOT from the Indian subcontinent or Middle East! The buffet was actually high quality, including two goat dishes which we loved. (All too often, Indian buffets are exclusively chicken and vegetarian, both very meh but undoubtedly cheaper for the restaurant.) Servers were gracious, lovely and attentive young women...there was nothing not to like! Will definitely come back next time I'm visiting Houston. Would be curious to try their regular menu. Overall I'd say their food quality was very close or equal to that of Aga's. And of course, being a buffet, you can have much more of it if you like. Everything was good: appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. Lastly, there was plenty of parking, another plus vs Aga's which is in a strip mall with lots of surrounding businesses so you have to hunt a bit to find a spot, and usually not very close by.

The young waitress that helped us was really sweet and was very helpful with explaining the different dishes and what she would recommend. My favorite part was the naan, it was so flavorful and crispy! There was some burnt places on the bottom naan but other than that perfect. The dish in the last photo was super unique almost like an Alfredo sauce, very flavorful. And the butter chicken was solid. The mango lassi was a little more chunky than I am used to but still good. We ended up waiting quite a bit for the food to come out compared to other places but overall a great spot! Would definitely recommend!

The staff are also extremely courteous, informing us each time we call about what's available that day and about new items. Dishes we always get are the chicken curry, avial and parotta. The chicken curry literally tastes like magic. The flavor is one I've yet to taste elsewhere, with perfect seasoning and spice and a luscious and creamy gravy. The avial is a tangy dish with a generous amount of mixed vegetables all coming together cohesively. All these dishes are tied together by the soft and oh-so-easy-to-tear parottas. Overall, Ghazal is a destination we will keep returning to!

This was my first time coming to the food truck park and I especially came because of this truck. The staff was so nice I really contemplated about this rating for this review, but when I think about the amount of money paid for my main entree and how I couldn't eat half of it and the spice levels didn't match my expectation, I came to this. A 3.5 would have been more accurate quite honestly but alas, yelp has its system. I ordered the bake and fried fish and the doubles. I asked for spicy on the doubles but they didn't taste too spicy - instead I used the sauce included on my bake n fish (possibly had some scotch bonnet peppers) and it was excellent. The bake and fish came as tacos - I don't think I realized that. It was good, but only two small tacos. The french fries were unfortunately burnt and therefore dry and inedible. I gave up on eating them. We were in a hurry, otherwise, I would have chatted with the staff about possibly getting some new fries. I would give this another try --I'd likely try a few other trucks first or at least have something to accompany my meal in addition to what I order from Krave.
