The worst place I've been. Food is bad and staff is very rude they act like giving us free food. I won't recommend this place to anybody.

Went here after seeing a 30ft line at Aga's (about a mile away) on a Sunday noon, which turned out…read moreto be an unforeseen blessing! We had a plane to catch later that day, so were elated to find that they were serving a buffet lunch, i.e. no long wait to order food and wait for it to be prepared and brought to our table, as happened at Aga's the last time we went---a whopping 30-45 minute wait! A tell-tale sign of good things in any Indian restaurant: the large venue was 90% full and we were the only folks NOT from the Indian subcontinent or Middle East! The buffet was actually high quality, including two goat dishes which we loved. (All too often, Indian buffets are exclusively chicken and vegetarian, both very meh but undoubtedly cheaper for the restaurant.) Servers were gracious, lovely and attentive young women...there was nothing not to like! Will definitely come back next time I'm visiting Houston. Would be curious to try their regular menu. Overall I'd say their food quality was very close or equal to that of Aga's. And of course, being a buffet, you can have much more of it if you like. Everything was good: appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. Lastly, there was plenty of parking, another plus vs Aga's which is in a strip mall with lots of surrounding businesses so you have to hunt a bit to find a spot, and usually not very close by.

The young waitress that helped us was really sweet and was very helpful with explaining the different dishes and what she would recommend. My favorite part was the naan, it was so flavorful and crispy! There was some burnt places on the bottom naan but other than that perfect. The dish in the last photo was super unique almost like an Alfredo sauce, very flavorful. And the butter chicken was solid. The mango lassi was a little more chunky than I am used to but still good. We ended up waiting quite a bit for the food to come out compared to other places but overall a great spot! Would definitely recommend!

Let me say this. I was so excited when I first learned about this food truck. I haven't had great…read moredoubles since being in Trinidad and Tobago some 10+ years ago. This was my first time coming to the food truck park and I especially came because of this truck. The staff was so nice I really contemplated about this rating for this review, but when I think about the amount of money paid for my main entree and how I couldn't eat half of it and the spice levels didn't match my expectation, I came to this. A 3.5 would have been more accurate quite honestly but alas, yelp has its system. I ordered the bake and fried fish and the doubles. I asked for spicy on the doubles but they didn't taste too spicy - instead I used the sauce included on my bake n fish (possibly had some scotch bonnet peppers) and it was excellent. The bake and fish came as tacos - I don't think I realized that. It was good, but only two small tacos. The french fries were unfortunately burnt and therefore dry and inedible. I gave up on eating them. We were in a hurry, otherwise, I would have chatted with the staff about possibly getting some new fries. I would give this another try --I'd likely try a few other trucks first or at least have something to accompany my meal in addition to what I order from Krave.

The first time they were understandably down for maintenance. The second time they served some customers food then turned others away without explanation. Just said "we're closed". We definitely won't be back.

But what if I don't feel like the Mela like atmosphere at Agas? Or what if I'm tired of heavy masala? I've got two legit options in Sugar Land - DDK and Lasbela. I've only tried them once, but the food was very very good. So was the service. And the ambiance was great, I would be proud to bring my bank clients to this restaurant as it showcases Pakistani culture (not in a tacky way). With Labela, it doesn't feel like you're going to another Pakistani restaurant- it feels like you're going to specifically eat lasbela. They are solidly in my top 3 Pakistani restaurants in Houston. Ehh top 4 let's throw Bundoo khan in there even if it is fake.

They ran out of something that they wanted but they recommended things for us based on the other things we ordered and they also suggested things that would not suit our taste palette. Sort of remind me of Aga's except the food quality is not as diverse and less busy (which may be what someone wants - Aga's parking is awful and it can be a zoo outside the restaurant sometimes). Restaurant is pretty spacious and bigger than I thought. Probably would never have to wait long for a table. My husband got the briyani; tasted pretty good but there was not that much meat. I believe I got the Murgh Bihari Boti and it was a pretty big portion. We also got some naan bread. Overall I would say the food quality/taste is better at Agas but I would definitely try this place out.

It is a thali ofcourse. The best experience is dining in. Where you even get to wash your hands at the table and use the napkin the server holds to wipe of. Then the flow of dishes start- first with chass ( buttermilk)and one more beverage - lemonade, or shikanji , all good for digestive purpose traditional Indian drinks you take with meals.... ( not in the modern kitchens...not anymore... like most food habits around all cultures across the globe ) Then chats, sabzi and piping hot any two types of bread. Its unlimited. When I go, the starve the whole day and go for dinner ... lol... its just not fair to the delicious experience otherwise... There is a huge spread. And lastly followed by ghee khichidi or either rice or millet and one more rice item, sometimes even plain rice. After u r really totally done and plates cleared. They come around with coffee or tea! If only you were sitting in a garden with 100's of tables overlooking the mountains and had noone waiting for u to clear so their can occupy the seats.... remember even those people waiting would have starved the whole day .... That day got a to-go order. Its not an experience under any comparison but food is still great. Can't wait to do my dine in again sometime.

Service started right away, Granted, this was a new experience for me - I can't speak to authenticity or even tell you what we ate or if we ate it correctl. . I can tell you that I LOVED IT. I was mixing things & trying flavor combinations. Perhaps the most impressive thing was that, for the first time I ever, I did get seconds on tofu! I didn't have to guess on what to order. Fantastic! I waved off the never-ending ladles many times or I'd probably still be there eating from bottomless bowls. It came to $112 for our party of 4 adults, which we thought was reasonable. The service was fantastic. The manager/owner (?) stopped by several times to check-in & encouraged us to eat more & skip work. Ha - staff were friendly & welcoming. If you leave here hungry, it's on you! The food starts the moment you are seated & doesn't stop until you call it. We are thrilled with our first stop after landing.
