    Chicken Dum Biryani
    Kiran A.

One of the worst dining experiences I've had, due largely to sexist and dishonest service. If I could give this place one star, I would. We came in with a group of about 11 people during a holiday week. Several of us were heading to a movie afterward, but we arrived with plenty of time to order appetizers, drinks, dinner, and actually enjoy each other's company. Unfortunately, from the start, service was slow and inattentive. When our server finally came to take orders, the pattern became very uncomfortable very quickly. He went exclusively to the men at the table first, spending a significant amount of time chatting with them, making recommendations, and checking their drink preferences. The women were largely ignored. He never checked our drink orders, and when two of us wanted to order additional food beyond the shared dishes, we had to interrupt him to be acknowledged. When I tried to order a kebab roll and clarify how it was served, since the menu clearly states it comes with naan with a paid upcharge for paratha, the server dismissed me and responded rudely, saying, "Who is stupid enough to get it in naan?" Completely unnecessary, unprofessional, and frankly insulting. Why make naan the standard, if it's "stupid." The food itself mostly arrived on time, and I will say the biryani was excellent, which makes this whole experience even more disappointing. Side note: they put potatoes in their biryani, there is a large debate on whether they belong in biryani and in my opinion they unequivocally do. Unfortunately, my kebab roll never came. My husband repeatedly asked about it and was told over and over that "the kitchen is backed up." This continued until everyone else had finished eating, boxed their food, and some of our group had already left for the movie. I had not eaten at all. When my husband finally asked to cancel the order, the server claimed it would be made to go and comped. After continued waiting, another female server checked on it and told us the truth. The order had never been put in until just minutes earlier. So we had been lied to repeatedly. When the roll finally arrived, it was not boxed, requiring even more waiting. And despite being told it would be comped, we were charged for it anyway. At that point, after such a public and frustrating experience in front of our friends, we paid just to leave. Between ignoring the women at the table, failing to take or place our order, lying about the kitchen delay, and promising to comp the item and then charging us anyway, the entire experience reeked of misogyny and incompetence. It was exhausting, embarrassing, and unacceptable. There are far better options nearby, and in Houston, that I would recommend before ever returning here. No meal, even a good biryani, is worth being treated this way.

I've been to their Mississauga, Canada location plenty of times so I was very excited to try this on my trip to Houston. Tried and tested chain, I knew it was going to be authentic. We got their Combo #2 which comes with a half chicken Karahi, chicken biryani (we got dark meat boneless), and naan. The food was absolutely delicious! Definitely daawat style, the spice was just right. We closed the night with KARAK chai, which was more like doodh pati. I am not a fan of heavy milk, but if you like milk, you'll love their chai. Our server was very kind. Towards the end there were many large families dining so he was super busy. They gave us some rhabri kheer on the house which was also delicious. 10/10 would visit again! Also heard they're opening a new branch in Dallas. Check them out!!

Outstanding! Karahi Point delivers big flavor! The Chicken Charsi Karahi is rich and authentic, the tandoori rotis come out hot and perfectly soft, and the chai is the ideal finishing touch. A true taste of Pakistan. Staff were really wonderful and welcoming especially Ruchi, she was really nice. The interior design and decorations were amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Richi was a great server. Very hospitable and helpful with the food options. Very fancy ambiance. Looking forward to coming back

The ambiance is great! Large spacious restaurant that is decorated giving you nostalgia of Karachi. Kudos for that. Service is good but could definitely be improved. We ordered goat chops and goat Karahi and a few mocktails. So it's hard to beat Aga's chops and these didn't succeed unfortunately but the goat Karahi was delicious. The mocktails need a lot of work. Watered down and lacked depth

Yum! Came here with my cousin after driving past this place for 1+ month on my morning commute. We got the butter chicken poutine and white kadhai. My cousin also tried their mint mojito. Overall, everything was amazing! Food was flavorful, fresh and served hot. Service was awesome and the waitresses kept coming in and checking on us. Ambiance was so nice, as well. It felt like I was sitting in a restaurant in Pakistan! Definitely a good restaurant to come and celebrate a special occasion. Overall, I had a great experience and I'll definitely be back.

Found another Gem near the home!!!! Loved the inside layout. Staff were amazing and very attentive. Nice selection on the menu. Everything we ate was made fresh and tons of flavor plus it was amazing. Will have to return to try out other things on the menu. Make sure to come here hungry because you will leave full and with food to take home.

Karahi point is ON POINT!! it's a gorgeous restaurant with amazing food. That's unparalleled in Houston Texas. Don't give me wrong There's a lot of great south Asian food in Houston Texas, but this is a perfect combination of food and ambience. Our waitresses were ruchita and Komal. Everyone including the owner came and checked on us regularly. I'm a pescatarian so I had the fish karahi and Lahore Channay. Mom and dad are picky eaters and they loved the food. They had the beef seek kebab as well. Get over here before you can get in. This place is definitely going to blow up.

This location has a banquet hall as well as a large restaurant that looked like it had seating for over 200 people. I went with their goat chops, beef bihari boti, goat shinwari karahi and naan. Goat chops ($27 - 5 pieces) - This is their most famous dish, and was the best Pakistani BBQ spiced item I have ever tried! The goat chops were so tender, juicy and had such flavorful spices. I can't stop thinking about these! Beef bihari boti ($13 - 6 pieces) - This was another impressive dish, consisting of 6 tenderized boneless pieces of beef prepared in some bold spices which utilized papaya and yogurt. Goat shinwari karahi ($21) - While the karahi was good and flavorful, I don't feel this particular karahi was as bold and strong as regular karahis I have had elsewhere. This restaurant offers several types of karahi, and I should have gone with the standard karahi, but this was still good. Naan ($2) - This was extremely reasonably priced and the naan was pillowy soft. Overall I was impressed with the service here and the food. Aga's definitely lived up to the hype and I'm glad I got to try this Pakistani HALAL restaurant. This is a must visit for anyone visiting Houston!

They are a bit spicy, which doesn't bother me but they are too spicy for my daughter that eats nothing spicy. The Butter Chicken is delicious and not spicy at all, and their Garlic Naan is the ideal companion for scooping up every last bit of curry. The Service: Despite how busy they stay, the staff is remarkably efficient and attentive, ensuring that your water is filled and your courses arrive hot. The Vibe: It's a great spot for large groups or a nice dinner out. It feels upscale yet remains deeply rooted in traditional hospitality. OVERALL - The food was absolutely delicious. Whether you are a longtime fan of Indo-Pak cuisine or trying it for the first time, Aga's sets a very high bar. It's the kind of meal you'll find yourself craving again the very next day. Depending on what time you go you will have to wait more than just a few minutes. We went on Sunday afternoon and had a half an hour wait, but was worth the wait.

The tiny waiting area did not inspire me to think that great food was awaiting me. But, my food was ready in 15 minutes. I ordered the Saag Paneer, and a garlic and butter Naan. From the 1st bite of the Paneer I knew it was a winner! The taste was smooth and silky, I tasted familiar herbs taking me back to my first experience many many years ago. I tried the garlic and butter Naan and they were OK, hot just as expected. I didn't give 5 stars because of the cramps waiting area and lack of aesthetics. This was my first time coming to the food truck park and I especially came because of this truck. The staff was so nice I really contemplated about this rating for this review, but when I think about the amount of money paid for my main entree and how I couldn't eat half of it and the spice levels didn't match my expectation, I came to this. A 3.5 would have been more accurate quite honestly but alas, yelp has its system. I ordered the bake and fried fish and the doubles. I asked for spicy on the doubles but they didn't taste too spicy - instead I used the sauce included on my bake n fish (possibly had some scotch bonnet peppers) and it was excellent. The bake and fish came as tacos - I don't think I realized that. It was good, but only two small tacos. The french fries were unfortunately burnt and therefore dry and inedible. I gave up on eating them. We were in a hurry, otherwise, I would have chatted with the staff about possibly getting some new fries.
