One word. Hot. It felt like they could not afford an air condition, and to be honest because and because of that I did not want to stay here. Saldy it was a party and I was forced to be festive. I was sweating. Like it was more hot than the outside temperature. I'm still sweating and it has been over three hours. The food was south Indian and it was not all that. Simple and basic, and I am sure everyone is thinking because it is hot I'm judging hard on the food. That is not the case, the food was bland and didn't have very distinct flavor which south Indian or Indian food is known for. So please do understand the flavor was real but not as flavorful for an Indian restaurant. The main issue is that I am being cooked with the food. Like I do not enjoy it. It is sad that Indians are known for their must and this restaurant just make this happen easily for us. For give us if we smell horrible coming out of the restaurant If there is north Indian food, I wish I got to try that, but that is for another time

Always fresh authentic Indian food, affordable prices, nice large portions for take out, friendly people and consistently excellent quality.

Great Indian food. There is a buffet on Sunday. I go out of way to go there. Spicy, delicious variety. Go as soon as you can. Yummy.

I have their biriyani from time to time and it beats any place near by! They give plenty of meat too, which a lot of other places skimp on

It came with jasmine rice and I ordered a garlic naan to accompany the dish. As I said, the dish was good. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the paneer was above average. Unfortunately, the portions were small and I did NOT consider paying over $20 for what you see in the pictures a value for my money. This is one of my favorite dishes. I've had this dish hundreds of times over the past 30 years. I found the paneer a tad bit spicier than I like, and it led me to wonder was that a mask to cover some deficiency. I sampled the dish prior to leaving and noted. Something was missing regarding the flavor profile. Unfortunately, I can't identify the missing ingredient.(s). I called and placed my order and it was ready at the time quoted. I was promptly greeted when I entered the restaurant. In my opinion this restaurant does not offer value to the prices they charge and servings offered. GN3

The restaurant felt very clean (something you can't always expect at an Indian restaurant). Service was friendly. However, I thought the food flavor was just average. We tried the gobi manchurian, pakoras, and masala dosa. The masala dosa filling and chutneys were on the plain/milder end. I enjoyed the pakoras but the gobi manchurian flavor was too sweet for my taste.

While waiting in the small waiting area I heard someone coughing in the back and thought "OMG I hope that wasn't over my food." I noticed a customer who came did not speak English. I thought "hmm I guess this place has food authentic enough that it reminds them of home." From first appearance, the restaurant is unimpressive. The tiny waiting area did not inspire me to think that great food was awaiting me. But, my food was ready in 15 minutes. I ordered the Saag Paneer, and a garlic and butter Naan. From the 1st bite of the Paneer I knew it was a winner! The taste was smooth and silky, I tasted familiar herbs taking me back to my first experience many many years ago. I tried the garlic and butter Naan and they were OK, hot just as expected. I didn't give 5 stars because of the cramps waiting area and lack of aesthetics. I recommend this restaurant and try different dishes. GN3

One of my biggest surprises in my recent adventures to Sugar Land was finding Naseeb, a seemingly…read moresmall and family owned Indian spot that has been around for many years. Sandwiched between a department store and an ice creamery, it blends in a little too easily with the rest of the strip mall plaza and would be easy to glance over in any other scenario. Luckily for me (#1), I stumbled across their simple, but flavorful lunch buffet and haven't looked back since. The restaurant looks small from the outside and is most definitely a modest interior with very minimal decor (#2) and a handful of tables. The family running the place is incredibly friendly and does a good job of keeping the place clean, replenishing items on the buffet and labeling the items properly. Some immediate standouts included: a wonderfully sweet and addicting mango lassi, a silky yet delicate coconut korma fish curry, a strangely addicting garlic naan that paired nicely with their butter chicken, a nice crunchy kadhi pakora, along with some veggie friendly and delicious chana masala + malai methi paneer. The mixed appetizers were a blend of fried foods, which included a not-so-mini samosa(s) and a very crunchy aloo tikki. While I wasn't in love with the roti, vegetarian spring rolls, or the goat achari, I can tell they were only slightly less appealing due to how wonderful everything else was. I'd happily give these items another shot on a future. Finishing it all off with a delightfully sweet galub jamun made for a perfect ending to the meal. $15 is a solid price in 2025, but I really just appreciate that the food was simple, fresh, and abundant with a little pretension and lots of opportunity for solo dining. ___________ (#1) Trust me, I'm the real winner.
