I was so happy with how every detail was so perfect Alhumdulillah. From table placements to exceptional arrangements, Jenny was there with nothing less than perfection. We enjoyed the most beautiful and romantic wedding because of her efficiency. You often hear stories about things going wrong and unhappy guests, from bad food to missed cues. With Jenny and her team, every detail was on point, and we couldn't be happier! We started planning in late 2019 for an October 2020 wedding, but we all know how that story ended. Our wedding date was changed to October 2021, but Jenny maintained contact with us and continued planning throughout the pandemic. She worked tirelessly to make sure every single detail was perfect and exactly as we wanted it to be. She also offered her own personal, creative touches, many of which we used in our wedding design. Jenny was there for us at every venue tour and every vendor meeting to support and guide us through the complex and sometimes overwhelming process of planning a modern wedding. She even sent a beautiful gift to our house on our originally planned wedding date to cheer us up! Her hard work and support didn't end on the day of our wedding, as she and her team made sure our wedding was as special and as memorable as possible. Jenny is truly an amazing event planner, and we are so thankful we chose her to handle our wedding! She was kind, personable, patient, and a boss at what she does!

Deep down inside, I wanted to get married at our venue because it was so beautiful, but we still wanted the Catholic ceremony. I came across the American Catholic Church from my cousin and I am so happy I did! We worked with Father Brian and Deacon Gary. They were both great to work with! The counseling class was eye opening and informative and gamey husband and I some great talking points on stuff we needed to work on, or how each of us handles certain situations. Father Brian married us on our wedding day. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the ceremony was and how great of a job Father Brian did. Instead of a Unity Candle, we had a Rope tying sign. Father Brian tied in the Celtic rope tying tradition since my husband is Irish. My husband finished his vows late the night before. He emailed them over to Father Brian, and he was still able to approve his vows before our ceremony. I hope that for Catholic couples who want a Catholic ceremony, but want to be married outside of the church, that they truly consider going though Good Shepherd Church. I highly recommend them!

In addition, I was married before so it was impossible to find a priest to marry us. I was about to give up on my dream before finding the church (the power of internet). We worked mostly with Deacon Gary and Father Jack and they were great. We enjoyed every bit of the process from the initial meeting, counseling class and the planning the ceremony timeline. Deacon Gary made sure everything was done to satisfy both of our families and on the day of the wedding he worked with our coordinator and DJ to make sure everything was smoothly. Deacon Gary officiated the ceremony beautifully. Everything went off perfectly. A lot of our guests complimented on the ceremony. I hope that for future couples who are in my situation to consider Good Shepherd Church.

Florals: I had a whimsical vision for my flowers and I wanted it to look like bursts of stars. I am lucky I didn't have any preferences on specific flowers, but Cindy gave a very detailed list of the florals she would use in our quote which I appreciated. As we progressed towards wedding day, she would advise if something would not work with our setup or plans and pivot accordingly. When I saw everything the morning of, it was soo beautiful against the blue sky. It looked elegant, gentle, and had that little bit of whimsy. Any floral decor for the tea ceremony was also transported to our reception where it was repurposed for the sweethearts table!! Coordination: There is a saying that if you didn't notice anything that means you had a good experience. Mostly for user experience in websites, but the same can be applied here. I'm an easily stressed out gal so I knew having a day-of-coordinator would be beneficial. There were logistics that were super important, but it would have never crossed my mind had Cindy not brought it to my attention. At the reception, Cindy and her team made sure to have it run as smoothly as it can. They took care of all the setup, communicated with the vendors, and cued us for the next event / activity so we could finish in a timely manner. Thinking back on the day, I didn't have to worry about a thing and just floated around like a jellyfish. Cindy is punctual, detail-oriented, friendly, and personable. Her team is just as kind and wonderful. They even helped me get a lil bug out of my dress without skipping a beat. I had such a wonderful experience with my wedding as someone who didn't think she needed one to be happy. I was able to focus on the love for my friends and family which is so important to me. Thank you again for making my day so special!

It was all thanks to Megan and Marni and the whole So Smitten team. They are incredible. When we first met with So Smitten, Megan walked us through a massive planning document that addressed every component of a wedding. There were so many little things that I would never think about. Their organization blew me out of the water, I immediately knew the So Smitten team would be a great match for us. When we started planning, my wife and I had a very abstract idea of what we wanted. Megan and Marni took our idea and ran with it. They took our really rough vision and perfected it. It was amazing to see the plan evolve during our regular zoom calls. We were also shocked to see that they took notes on EVERYTHING! There were so many little things we mentioned once and forgot about that, months later, found their way into the plan. They also kept us on track through the whole process. They would make a to do list for us at the end of every meeting of what we we need to do and when we need to do it by. That really removed a lot of stress from our lives. The So Smitten team has so many connections for: Photographers, Videographers, DJs, Bands, Flowers, Design, Rentals, everything you need. They made it really easy compare vendors and find the ones that we liked to work with. Later, when all our vendors were trying to check in with us in the weeks leading to the wedding, Megan and Marni took on a bunch of the meetings and contract stuff for us. That removed so much of our stress and let us we could worry about getting our family and friends to the event. Letting them take on all the contracts and negotiations also ended up helping us save about 3-4x the amount we paid So Smitten by finding different alternatives for power, DJs, etc. Leading into the wedding everyone told me to just relax WHEN things go wrong and let the planners and coordinators handle it. Megan and her team were so on top of things that we didn't even notice any issues coming up. My wife and I kept joking "Ok, when is this big issue going to finally arise?" It never really did. At least not to our knowledge. Megan, Marni and the So Smitten team are incredible. We are recommending them to everyone. They took out ALL the stress from wedding planning. I really have no idea how I would have handled it if we didn't find So Smitten!

We were initially drawn to So Smitten because every wedding they coordinated was so beautiful and full of personality, and that was true - but what we couldn't see was how much work went on behind the scenes. Not going to lie, we had some real drama this year, and our coordinator Megan became our rock: guiding us with her expertise, calm, and humor. She always made herself so available throughout the process, be it through recommendations or negotiations or bridal anxieties. I'm worried that if I keep going on you won't read this whole thing, so I'm going to say maybe the best thing about hiring So Smitten: we had so many people say that we had a perfect wedding, and not only do I truly agree, but I also know that would not have been possible without Megan, Marni, Melanie and the team. Could not recommend them enough.

While there, we stumbled into the ball room where we stood in awe at what was at the time, one of the most beautiful wedding designs I had ever seen. My mother and I promptly asked the first person we saw who was designing this wedding and got a card for a "Natalie Good". I pocketed the card and thought- one day! Fast forward 5 years I had met Matt(my now husband) and we were moving into together. I was cleaning my room at my parents house and came across Natalie's card and put it in my purse. 3 months later, Matt proposed on a Saturday and the following Monday I called Natalie and booked her. First and foremost, Natalie is an angel on this planet. Wedding planning is so stressful and I never had to worry about a single thing, she went above and beyond to make sure I was not stressed and happy. She is more than just our wedding planner and over the 3 years we planned my wedding (thanks covid...), she became my friend and someone who I adore Second, when going down this road, I think trusting your planner/wedding team is extremely important to make sure the process is seamless and smooth. I can tell you that without a doubt, I trust Natalie and her team implicitly! I trusted them so much that I let them run free on the design for my wedding and I could not have been happier! Everything was perfect and so gorgeous- from the table design to the flowers, everything was flawless and it was so amazing to watch her vision come to life. It's been 3 months and I am still getting calls and compliments from all of our guests and even friends of guests who weren't there but saw pictures. She is insanely talented and has an unbelievable list of vendors that are just as talented. We even had a silent disco at our wedding and it was a hit! Third, her team is awesome. The women who helped me specifically- Ellie, Kennedy, and Maddy- where next level professional and so helpful. There were nights where I would be up at midnight and text Ellie and she would always answer and talk me down. Kennedy and Maddy were running around on wedding day making sure I was hydrated and fed and happy. Everything about A Good Affair is top notch and I could not be more grateful or fortunate to have had them design, plan and make our dream wedding a reality. I cannot recommend them enough if you are looking for a team to take your wedding to the next level and who will be there every step of the way to make your dreams come true!

What I can say is, they don't really go straight to the point and communicate back n forth in email when you had requested 3 times to call you to talk it out. I mean, if off the bat you're having a hard time conveying your plans, pricing with me then its not worth my time. They reply back quick, which I appreciate but them going around in circles is annoying. Also, if you're looking for budget, this is NOT the place for budget. She knew my budget, yet continued to ask questions through email. Finally, she gives me the quote of $10-$15k for a wedding next year (saying pricing will go up next year) and if its something i am still interested in. Wow, knowing where my budget is, which was less than $3k, and you know your asking is triple that, is so unprofessional. This is not accommodating to new clients or at all helpful. If you plan to have a wedding with a $10-$15k budget in mind then this might be your type of vendor but if you're asking for really minimal details for $3k, and they don't just say "sorry our services are over your budget" then they don't care or respect your needs. These days, customer service should be catered to what you can provide for the client. If you can't make it work, then just simply let the client know. Do not waste their time with back n forth email. Some of us don't understand what you're saying in email and a clearer communication shows you care enough to explain it.

Allie was constantly answering our questions, thinking ahead, and making sure we felt supported every step of the way. They take their work seriously in all the right ways, but what makes them so special is how fun, funny, and genuinely sweet they are while doing it. Allie has the absolute best energy: calm, capable, and somehow still light and joyful even in high-stress moments. Our family and friends were obsessed with her. On the wedding day itself, Allie and team absolutely crushed it. They did an incredible job wrangling our wild group of family and friends, keeping everything on track without it ever feeling rigid or stressful. We felt so taken care of and if we needed something, she was already there. If something needed handling, it was handled seamlessly. Because of the PTC team, we were able to be fully present and actually enjoy our day without worrying about logistics, timelines, or a single detail. That peace of mind is priceless. If you're looking for a coordinator who is professional, organized, hilarious, kind, and just an all-around joy to be around, this is your team. We're endlessly grateful and would recommend them to anyone, without hesitation. If you're going back and forth or if you think you might not need a coordinator (heads up, you do) well, just book them already!!! You will not regret it. Seriously. Go book them now.
