Vegetables in Butter sauce with garlic naan
Jill R.

I was traveling and found this Indian food gem. I wanted butter sauce with only vegetables. The proprietor made it along with my garlic naan fresh out of the kitchen. He served me within 15 minutes at a clean table. It was a quiet meal after a day of travel. Try it!!

I ordered take out this past week. Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Portions were great, pricing was reasonable. Food was delicious. Very happy with the to-go order!

SO SO GOOD!!! Get the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan!!!! This was my first time trying Indian food in the area, and I will definitely be back again. Very very friendly staff. Quick and easy ordering. And SOOOO MUCH FLAVOR! I can't recommend this food enough! Found out go-to local spot for Indian food on the space coast

Samosas- come as a pair. Spicy potato dumpling in dough shell and served with yogurt chatni.

While the atmosphere is still a work in progress (having recently moved to this new location) the food is excellent and the service was great. Really the only thing holding back a 5 star rating was the "unfinished" atmosphere which I'm sure will improve with time. I'll presume it was an owner that served us and he was very enthused about the menu offerings and how we would enjoy them- he was not mistaken. He made it a point that they could alter items to ensure we enjoyed our experience but the food was great as is and we didn't have to request any changes. While I'm not the most versed, my mother is pretty knowledgeable about Indian food and she was in love with it. The Naan was definitely a highlight but I truly have no complaints about any of the food we tried. Definitely a great place to experience authentic Indian cuisine! I would definitely return.

We honestly love this place. I'll admit they could do much better for atmosphere, but the food is outstanding!

Not very many places in Melbourne do authentic foods, but Persis does!…read moreI got the mirapakaya vodi vepudu (fried chicken pieces in a green chili and spicy sauce) and chicken biryani in medium heat. I enjoy spice so it was spicy to me but not to the point where I was not able to enjoy it. My nose was running and I loved every bite. I enjoyed a hot indian tea while I ate also. The service was great & I think they have the space well decorated. Whoever reviewed and said they have a limited menu was wrong because they have MANY options and traditional dishes that the adventurous eater would love. They have butter chicken and curry etc. also. Something for everyone.

We ordered the fried rice (my brother is NOT an adventurous eater!), the persis chicken dum biryani, butter roti, and the okra masala. I love to try okra dishes at all Indian restaurants. There was more of a wet dish than dry which is my preference. Very flavorful and nice portion size. My mother's chicken was tender and a HUGE serving. My brother's fried rice serving size could have fed a family of four. Just be warned you WILL take home leftovers for days. The butter roti was delicious and hot... but you can never go wrong with roti! I'm looking forward to coming back to try their baby corn manchurian.

The decor and ambiance is great, it has all the vibes but isn't too much or distracting. The food is phenomenal. I'm new to Indian food so I tried the samosa and got butter chicken because I knew I'd like it. I also had the mango lassi, and everything was so nicely plated and tasted wonderful. I'm a firm believer in getting the basics at a place to judge of its good, and this place is great. The waitress absolutely knew I had no idea what I was looking at, despite me trying to be chill about it, and I appreciated her help and suggestions. Will definitely be back to try the buffet so I can get brave without worrying about ordering a whole portion of something that I'm sure is delicious, but maybe not to my personal taste. Excited to come back!

Shortly after, a gentleman of Indian descent came in and ordered one, and I overheard staff say they didn't have much left but would "make an exception" for him. That came across as blatant favoritism and felt discriminatory. I am not sure if he was a friend of the staff or a regular customer, but at the end of the day, I ordered it about 15 minutes before he did. On top of that, our server barely checked on us. The only reason the experience wasn't worse was because another staff member stepped in and was actually helpful. Losing a regular customer over something like this is completely avoidable. Very disappointing.

The service was literally perfect: they noticed we were low on rice, and more rice appeared, without us even asking for it. I love Indian food, from all of the various regions, and I can tell you each dish was superb! Really hard to pick a favorite- from the Tikka Masala, the Lamb Vindaloo, tandoori, cauliflower-everything was spectacular! The best was talking with Been (the table next to us was so loud, we couldn't hear his name properly!), the owner/ manager. He came back again at the end of our night (when things were much quieter!)... what a truly great American success story!! So impressed by the sacrifices he has made for his family!! What a remarkable man!! Other than being next to a really loud table, to no fault of the restaurant, it was a perfect evening!

The kind of bread that makes you wonder why you ever settle for plain toast. By the time I finished my basket, I realized I might need a naan intervention. The basmati rice was fluffy and fragrant, the perfect base for the star of the night: the sizzling tandoori chicken. It arrived on a bed of shredded cabbage and onions, still steaming and smelling like heaven. The chicken was juicy, packed with spice and flavor without being overkill. Portions are generous, and the service was on point. Friendly staff, quick with refills, and they make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time. If you're craving Indian food in Vero, this is the place. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned, and I already know I'll be back to explore the rest of the menu. Pro tip: grab extra naan, you'll need it.
