I decided to try this place tonight on my way home from work. I called in my order and they said 30 mins. I showed up a little early and the place was a mess. Bugs and dust everywhere there was also pictures and tvs on the floor with an inch or more of dust. I should have walked out at that point. My fault I know. I got home and unpacked the food, it was awful. There was no fragrant food, the paneer cheese was bad. The rice was old and it smelled like they just threw butter on it and microwaved it. It was the worst Indian food I ever had. Do not eat there. read more

Do not be discouraged by the low star ratings. A lot of them are from when this place was closed for about 8 months but did not update hours to reflect. Place is open back up now and hours are actually consistent. When it comes to chicken curry, spices, and just general indian cuisine, this is the best you will ever have. The Naans are so flavorful and cooked fresh everytime. The owner is a very sweet old guy. He runs the place like he is still in his 30s, and is very pleasant to deal with. Do be wary that Dine-in is not always offered due to this, I would call and ask. You HAVE to try this hidden gem! read more

Bombay Curry, which is located in the plaza next to the Neighborhood Walmart and behind the Speedway at the intersection of Babcock Street and Florida Avenue in Melbourne, has been one of my favorite places in the community to get South Asian food. It is a nice restaurant that serves delicious Northern Indian style food with the distinctive seasonings and spices. Seating is currently limited, and it is now a better takeout place, which does not bother me at al. I got some scrumptious appetizers consisting of samosas(vegetable turnovers) and vegetable pakoras (fritters) with their homemade hot sauce that I had been craving for some time! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for those wanting to try Indian cuisine. The owner, Javid Babur, is quite friendly and explains thoroughly about the food its content. SO GOOD!! We got take out here tonight for the first time and was so pleasantly surprised. The quality and taste is unmatched to anywhere else in Brevard. I would recommend to anyone. We had the Butter chicken (medium heat), garlic naan, and vegetable samosas. We received tamarind or 'sweet' sauce and hot sauce (which I could and will eat with everything) at my request. While the atmosphere is still a work in progress (having recently moved to this new location) the food is excellent and the service was great. Really the only thing holding back a 5 star rating was the "unfinished" atmosphere which I'm sure will improve with time. I'll presume it was an owner that served us and he was very enthused about the menu offerings and how we would enjoy them- he was not mistaken. He made it a point that they could alter items to ensure we enjoyed our experience but the food was great as is and we didn't have to request any changes. While I'm not the most versed, my mother is pretty knowledgeable about Indian food and she was in love with it. The Naan was definitely a highlight but I truly have no complaints about any of the food we tried. Definitely a great place to experience authentic Indian cuisine! It's okay. Super Americanized and sweet, even at medium spice level, which should be a decent test. Like, I make more traditional Indian food, and I've never been there. If you're desperate, it might scratch the itch, but you can definitely find better. read more

This was our second visit here and we were disappointed. We were served room temperature tap water. We ordered Chole Masala, Garlic Naan and Fish Balti. The Chole Masala was watered down so much that we barely tasted the spices. The Fish Balti did not taste like they used fresh fish. The tomatoes in the curry were definitely from a can. On our first visit we had Shrimp Korma which was actually way better than what we ate this time around. They must really work on their spices and masalas to get a 3 or 4 star rating from us. A better ambiance and more attentive service would merit a 5th star. read more

The food is very good when you can get it. Apparently the place is only open when the owners are in the mood. Too bad. It is close to me and I would be a regular customer if they ever got their act together. I drive much further to Taste of India but they suffer a similiar problem; they say lunch until 230, but arriving 145 from the parking lot I saw one of the help slipping out a side door. Then when I tried the front door it was locked. Tried calling them. They said no, their closing time was 200. Aparently they are clueless that people often drive out of their way to patronize their business and annoyance cools any thought of a repeat performance. read more

Really yummy Indian food! The vegetable Samosa is really nice but kinda spicy! The plain naan is a must haveeee. Their Chicken Makhni (Butter chicken) is realllyyy delicous i totally recommend it!
