Iced coffee
Meg M.

Their coffee is always smooth and delicious. The store is simple and clean, and everything always looks and smells nice. There is seating both inside and outside, which is always a nice option. Everyone that works there is attentive and friendly. I always enjoy grabbing a coffee from here. Its downtown Providence location is wonderful!

Breakfast Sandwich and Large Iced Chai with oat milk
Mikaela L.

Always a go-to in downtown! The breakfast sandwich is delicious; I love the combination of a the light, fluffy egg with the roasted onions and tomato jam. The flavors are balanced really well, and it's super filling! The chai isn't my favorite in town, but it gets the job done! The staff here are always so nice and welcoming, which I always appreciate. It gets very busy, especially on weekends. The wait is never too long, but it does get a little loud if you're trying to work/study/read!

Such a cute and cozy coffee shop! I stopped in to get some work done and ended up having a great experience. I ordered a cappuccino and the avocado toast with bacon--it came on a large slice of bread and was absolutely delicious. The server was super friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. I joined their rewards program while I was there, and I spent a couple of hours working in a relaxing, quiet atmosphere with great coffee and food. What I love most about this place is how comfortable and quaint it is--perfect for getting work done or just enjoying some personal time. I'll definitely be back. It's an amazing spot for a meeting, solo time, or just a cozy coffee break.

Bolt Coffee has multiple locations in Providence. I've been to their Downtown location - 61 Washington Street, Providence, RI 02903 - a few times now. I like how they always have specials and sells knead donuts. The first time I went to Bolt Coffee, I had their matcha latte and knead donut. Most recently, I had their October special: Pumpkin Pie Latte. It is made with house espresso, steamed milk, and sweetened with house-made Pumpkin Spice Syrup. Their drinks are always so good. There are tables inside and outside. It is very cozy inside and I spent a few hours here with a friend. It was easy to order at the counter and service was quick.

Yogurt Parfait and Iced Matcha Latte

The iced matcha latte is exactly how I like it - slightly sweet (via honey) and very well mixed. Would 100% come back for this. I ordered the yogurt parfait and the yogurt was lumpy. Didn't seem spoiled but was not appetizing. I'd try it again before I swear it off but not exactly how I wanted to start my day. Overall - I'd come again!

Nitro Cold Brew filled with ice
Kerry N.

Cute little coffee shop in downtown Providence. Service is pretty fast and they have a great selection of coffee and food. I'm a little annoyed that they put ice in the Nitro Cold Brew. The ice disrupts the point of nitrogen and the smooth velvety taste and texture is lost. Not sure why coffee shops choose to do this when the "nitro cold brew" is already cold. I would have order an iced coffee if that's what I wanted.

The regular steak fries were delicious love their homemade seasoning. The CNY potatoes just weren't it for us, there was a group of 4 and no one really cared for them, but if pepperoncini flavor is your thing go for it. The chicken sandwich was okay didn't have much flavor too it sadly. Atmosphere of track 15 is great and the girl at the counter was kind and friendly to us as well.

RI food fights brought me in and you don't get access to the whole sandwich menu here, unfortunately you have to pick between their "Mushroom Bahn MI" and their "Screaming BLT". I went with the BLT since I wasn't feeling the vegan option. The description was "chili-hoisin glazed bacon | sliced tomato baby greens tomato jam | dill pickle pickled red onion chipotle aioli toasty thick-sliced white bread". Honestly, it was underwhelming. It had some tasty components but it was pretty average. The bacon was terribly weak. It was probably frozen precooked bacon that is heated and brushed with a hoisen glaze. I was hoping for some thick cut glazed almost candied bacon. Their avg. sandwich was around $16-17. If paying for that, I'd be left pretty disappointed. On top of that, it probably took around 35-40 minutes to get the sandwich. Again, pretty okay sandwich, the pickled onion, tomato jam and Chipotle aioli elevated things, but it's in vain with the bacon they use. Their other sandwiches sound good, so it's possible I'll visit to try them out at some point but can't see myself running back here after my impression with this BLT.

I walked up and down the street to see what was open and then it hit me. My Grandfather use to take me here on the weekends when I was a kid so I had to head over there and take a walk around and get a sandwich and see what else they had to offer. On to the review! I walked in the store and was greeted with smiles and I walked around and was offered if I needed help with anything. I just walked around for 10 minutes to just soak up all the stuff they had which is like everything! I ended up settling with an Italian Grinder and some Tarrone Italian dessert thing that that my Grandfather loved getting for Christmas time. Itlian Grinder - I have to say the grinder was pretty good ! It had a pretty good meat to veggies to bread ratio! The bread had a crunchy crust but soft on the inside. Tarrone - Just as I remembered from back in the day soft sweet and filled with nuts, O did that bring up memories of being a kid and hanging out with Grandad! Over all, I really enjoyed my time there and enjoyed sitting down eating my sandwich and having some great small talk with a wonderful employee that walked at the register. I didn't get her name but she was a sweet person! The place was very clean and had a great vibe to it! Keep it up over there Venda! I will be visiting again soon!

The space itself is interesting -- I understand the location has even been used as a filming location for a movie -- and the coffee and food we had were both quite good. What stood out, unfortunately, was the atmosphere created by the staff. During my visit the café was less than half full, but employees were very actively directing where people could and could not sit in what otherwise appeared to be open seating. At one point I watched a staff member speak sharply to a customer while waving a sign that said "No laptops at the bar." The confusing part was that the customer didn't appear to have a laptop at all. The interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational and awkward to witness. Taken together, the tone of the staff came across as petty and uninviting, which really undermined what could otherwise be a pleasant place to stop for coffee. The drinks and food were good, but the atmosphere made the experience feel tense. Visitors may want to keep in mind that seating and house rules seem to be enforced quite strictly.

I've frequented this interesting, friendly sandwich shop during quieter times, and my sandwiches have always been well executed and tasty. Today was no exception. The spring weather was pleasant, so we grabbed a table next to the canal and shared the sandwiches. I liked both equally well and was impressed that both the corned beef and pastrami were tender and easy to eat. The sandwiches were nicely dressed, not too little and not too much. The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

It feels like her place in the best way -- warm, proud, hands-on. Pastries are legit. Super buttery, flaky enough to make a mess, clearly baked that morning. No sad, sitting-around-all-day vibes. Ordered the breakfast sandwich and that tomato jam needs to be illegal. Sweet, savory, slightly tangy -- it completely makes the sandwich. I kept trying to figure out how to recreate it at home. Not happening. Crispy chicken sandwich was properly seasoned and not dried out (why is that so hard for some places?). Fries were solid too -- crispy, not limp. And the kale salad with roasted chickpeas and chicken made me feel like I had my life together. Fresh, simple, and actually satisfying. It's one of those places you stumble into while traveling and then immediately start googling whether you can justify going back the next day.
