This place is disgusting!!! I got my eyebrows threaded here and the lady didn't even sanitize her hands before she touched my face after doing two other clients appointments!! To add onto that she stopped in the middle of doing my eyebrows to check something out and touch cash and didn't even sanitize her hands either after that which is absolutely ridiculous!! I used to go here a couple years ago and they were very good but now they've gone downhill and they need to get checked for their sanitation because people could get seriously jacked up from them!! The eyebrow place that I usually go to has solution on the counter that they put their tools in to sanitize them but I couldn't see that anywhere in the salon! MEN: DO NOT GO HERE!! I've been here about 10 times, and never had an issue. Work was done very slow, but fine otherwise. Until today. I walked in, and there was someone new behind the counter. When I told her I was there to get my eyebrows done, she started laughing at me. She rolled her eyes, made a joke about me to the customer at the counter, then said "Write your name down". For laughing at a customer, I walked out. Took my business down the road, and tipped 100% of the threading cost, because the other place cared about things Bollywood Threading does not: Professionalism, Courtesy, and Decency. I've never been treated so terribly for simply attempting to receive the same service they happily offer to females. This place judged me by my gender, then tried to laugh about it. Jasmine is incredibly talented and I have loved coming to her for my eyebrow threading. It is absolutely unfortunate that I can not and will not return anymore due to her poor customer service. The salon closes at 7 PM. I arrived at 6:53 PM and she locked the door when she saw me pull up. This is unheard of. She then completely ignored my knocking despite seeing me, a RETURNING and loyal client, and did not at all consider coming to the door to acknowledge me and talk to me. I do not understand why someone in the service industry could not simply come to the door, acknowledge a loyal client, and explain why they could not accept me during normal business hours. Went to get a blow out from Farah and midway through doing my hair she said "we don't take African hair here...." To which I said when you were getting certified did they not require you to work with all types of hair? She went on to say she's old and she does not work with African hair. I let her know that was unacceptable to say, and it's a discriminatory comment to make, and that I will not be returning. Unless you have pencil straight hair, I recommend you go somewhere else. I've always loved bollywood brows since I found it years ago! I've always specifically gone to Sajal. She's always been great. I recently made a very specific booking with her. For a very very important date. WEEKS AHEAD. Day of she acted like she forgot. Which she has done tons of times before. Having me go to other locations (out of my way) I'd honestly go anywhere for her. But having me go far and being like oh I'm at another location. This just felt mean to me. I've been a loyal customer and tried my best to promote her business on my social media and to friends & family. When asked about my brows. The last time I went to her for an important event she "forgot" i made an appointment elsewhere which seemed to light a fire under her. Causing me to cancel elsewhere and go to her. I SPECIFICALLY booked out brows with her. Upon arrival she had appointed other employees to do my sisters and nieces eyebrows. When she got to me she asked if I'd allow someone else to do mine. I said no .. as I had booked with HER. She did my brows extremely thin. She's done my brows so many times! But did them thin. Once I left the store she turned to talk "shit" with my sisters about how I had lacked in communication with her about our appointment. I booked over a month before. Checked in a week before. Then days before. Then day of with no response until I told her I'd be booking elsewhere. It's unfortunate that it took me so long to finally say enough is enough. I hope her business thrives. 4 years now guys! I haven't gone anywhere else in 4 years since no one is better than you!! Perfect 99/10 times (I know that number is impossible but so are the results every time you leave here!) You will not be disappointed and I refuse to go anywhere else. When I can't make it in (I live far away) even for 2 or 3 months at a time I will not go anywhere else and I would rather have my bushy eyebrows than go somewhere else where I know their standards will not be as high as these guys. They also keep Indian traditional dresses and jewelry. It's quite big and clean place. For eyebrow services I give them 5 stars. They are bit pricy but totally worth it. Gave this place enough chances and don't know why I kept going only to be disappointed every time. It's always crowded when I go, the owner is always talking loudly in her Bluetooth earpiece while she is threading her clients (rude) but worse than that, the quality of the service is terrible. I just got done getting my eyebrows there and the lady who had done mine....first of all she went so excruciatingly slowly, pulling out every hair so painfully that I felt like I wasn't going to make it through the other eyebrow. She did not know how to pull out multiple hairs efficiently and made the experience extremely painful. This is nothing other than not being skilled at threading. She messed up the shape of my eyebrows and made one significantly thinner than the other (when I specifically told her to take out the extras and touch up the arch). One eyebrow is thick and rounded and the other is thin and pointed. Now I'm going to have to use an eyebrow pencil to draw in sparse areas for at least 6 months till it grows out. Do yourself a favor and go to Perfect Eyebrow Threading next to the Beaverton DMV. Those ladies know what they're doing, will do a good job, painlessly. read more

The only reason I gave one star is because the girl was nice. But my threading experience was awful. I tried to be okay with it, leaving with a forced positive attitude. But to find myself crying that night and the next morning when looking in the mirror. I had been growing out my brows for 4 months, even using an enhancing serum. I told her I was wanting them to stay as thick as possible but just cleaned up. She made them sooo thin, my scar on one side is completely visible again. If I hadn't told her to leave the side underparts, which she was clear about wanting to get rid of, I kid you not, I would have 4 to 5 full hairs on each side. Thank god I actually said something about that. Even still, they are pencil thin. And uneven!!!! Shape and all. I didn't think that's what threading did. I will never go back. In addition, she didn't even clean or wipe them before starting, leaving me now with a red rash all over them. I know that can happen a little, but any preventative methods should always be used for infections. Not impressed. And also pissed. I could have done a way better job plucking them myself. I go here to get my eyebrows threaded and the lady does a really good job. Eyebrows are sisters, not twins, and she's done a great job of following my natural shape, ensuring that they aren't too thick or too thin. Also, as soon as she finishes one eyebrow, she gives you the mirror to check if you're happy with the shape or if there's something she'd missed. At the end of it, she gives you the opportunity to double check and will gladly make corrections if necessary. I always come out of this place with eyebrows that look really clean! I've deducted a star because the only downside to her service is the fact that she threads slowly, making it a little bit more painful than usual. My previous place threads really quickly so that's what I had gotten used to, but her speed allows her to be more precise and a lot cleaner. If you get your upper lip threaded, she works at a faster speed. She's also really good about taking her time with each customer, even if there are other people waiting. She doesn't rush her job at all. I've deducted another star just because it's a little bit too pricey for my liking...$16 for eyebrows and an extra $8 for threading your upper lip. I only come here every 3 weeks because I like to grow out my brows and usually just pluck them to keep them clean, so it's not like I have to pay this all the time, but I still think it's a little bit too pricey. Wait times are almost always nonexistent. I've only come in when the place is near empty. The only time I've ever witnessed a "line" for threading when two other ladies came in after me. Overall, I think it's a great place for threading with good customer service! read more

Awful 2nd experience! I went in February for my wedding and came out looking fabulous. So I took my 15 year old daughter for her first time last weekend. Her eyebrows looked good, but the lady who did mine... spoke no English, and butchered me. I am still healing from sores and she even argued with me when I asked her to clean some of the middle that she left spiking in all directions!
