More than likely, this place has what you need for your hardware needs. I recently bought a filter "sheet" for some window air conditioner units. Don't try looking for items yourself. Make sure you ask one of the guys that work there. read more

I think it is important to know who you are doing business with so let me tell you what I know. This business was originally started by Harold Boles. He's passed away now and for many years, I did business with Harold. In fact, I bought a house from him. His son-in-law runs the business now and I no longer patronize the place because of his business practices. They provide a handyman service which I have used several times in the past but things have changed. I had a water heater installed by them. I asked for a quote and all was fine until a little later after the Handyman left. I had no water pressure at all. Called them back out to see about it. Charged for another service call and all total, it cost me over $250 simply to have my water heater replaced with one I bought elsewhere. I had a commode needing replaced. I had my new commode and had them install it. Turns out, the toilet flange was broken and it leaks. I called to tell them about it and they were willing to come back but at another service call plus their hourly rate. All that for fixing something that should have been corrected to begin with. I refused to continue using them and called someone else. I'll never buy from them or use their other services for as long as I live. You'd be wise to think about what I just wrote. read more

When checking out my child was carrying a stuffed animal that was purchased from a small business store nearby. Oddly enough I guess Ace Hardware sells the same item and the associate asked if "I was going to purchase the item" my child was carrying. I informed her it was purchased at another store. I feel like once I said that the associate should have believed me, but insisted on seeing the receipt. She also mentioned " if she would have seen my child walk in with it she wouldn't need to see the receipt." Well no duh, so I said "call the cops and we can check all the cameras you guys have up." She then said "don't worry about it." I had to call my wife over and she provided a digital receipt from the small business purchase. I don't recall getting a thanks or apology from the associate. Could have been handed better by the associate. Would have been embarrassing if other customers were around but the only other person around was another associate. I've been going there many years and they have a good selection of many different items so I do recommend checking them out.

Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. Just follow the signs.
