Foothills Hardware offers a one stop shop if you're building or renovating your home. I worked with Karyn Boaz for cabinet design. She is very experienced and knowledgeable about the various product lines. She has a great eye for design and offers great suggestions and customer service. She coordinated meetings with her team and other suppliers as we worked through cabinets, flooring, countertops, doors, plumbing fixtures, interior and shingle colors. Everyone I spoke with at Foothills was extremely customer service oriented and knowledgeable. They were recommended as a resource by my contractor. It was great to have access to a great resource that was local to my area. They certainly made the process a pleasant experience. read more

History

Established in 2015.

Foothills Hardware and Builders Supply, LLC opened its doors on February 2nd, 2015 with a new vision and purpose. Once known as Discount Builders Supply for over 25 years, the business was ready for a new energy. Mr. Ron & Mrs. Pat Moorefield, previous owners, were ready to settle down and enjoy retirement after many busy years in the hardware industry.

Meet the Business Owner: Taylor B.

Taylor and Leah Baker took the reins of the business in February of 2015 and have since been offering new, fresh ideas for the business operations. Taylor Baker has been in the hardware industry since he was young. The Hayesville native grew up in his parents' hardware store for nearly 15 years. Soon after, he met Leah McKinney at Guilford College. Leah works as a Physician Assistant in Dobson and they have one child, a little girl, Hallie Ann Baker.
