Came across them at the Apple Festival in Hendersonville and their stuff is so beautiful! The craftsmanship is top notch. My plan was to just browse and I left with several Christmas gifts and a couple of magnets for myself. Couldn't recommend them enough. read more

Lazeredge is awesome! Boyfriend and I actually discovered them while visiting the Raleigh Home Show. I automatically gravitated towards the coasters, we went with our alma mater (NC State and ECU). The Oak coasters cost $25 for 4 which is not bad for local and awesome coasters. They have a location in the area to make their products for pickup to avoid shipping costs. Plus, they only employ NC State students which stays with their concept of keeping it local. Will and Isabella are both nice and they are passionate about their business. Plus, they went to the same colleges as Boyfriend and I! FYI, they will do any logo that you want just send them a picture. Figured while yes this is a tourist trap it may be reasonable since it a very small town and the essence of Mayberry should be adorable and community driven. I purchased several items which they carefully packaged for me and held them while I continued to shop other businesses in the area. I ended up with 2 large bags that would have been awkward to carry. When I was ready to leave town I stopped by and picked up my purchases. They also have a few additional items on the second floor that have significant mark downs. There's been a lot of talk about Trosa Thrift store around town lately. I've seen it all over…read moresocial media so a friend and I decided to check it out on a Friday afternoon. Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. Just follow the signs.
