When we arrived we had to get on a shuttle bus that trucked us a few miles to the tracks. It was a little confusing since I thought everything was at Circuit of the America. When we got to the tracks it was a little confusing. It appears we didn't need to print out our tickets online before coming here. No tickets were collected or checked and the fans could sit anywhere within in the stands. Well unless you were VIP located within the rope area in the top rows. Overall we had a great time and it was very entertaining. The beer was overpriced as expected and we didn't eat at the food trucks but smelled amazing.

None of the bleachers had shade, in either the music venue, or the grandstands overlooking competition. Food vendors were kind of lackluster as well, in my opinion. In a town that is known for its culinary inspirations and plethora of food trucks, you'd think you could have better options than an $8 grilled cheese. Another subtracted star for your music- Nicki Minaj, really?!? That's not all that conducive to the this sport or crowd. Kudos for Metallica, though. Plus, why put the main stage a literal mile walk away from the competitive field?? There was so much open area passed on that long, pointless walk. Also, the timing of the daytime musical acts was very poor- why not schedule acts to perform during competitive breaks, not during actual completion; you're forced to make a choice. You did do a good job with ample portos, and having a fair amount of actual pottys available. Also with water stations. You offered plenty of meet-n-greets with athletes, which was great for attendees. There was also a good amount of sponsors and swag for people to enjoy. So, it wasn't all bad.

I recently saw Sting in concert at the Moody Amphitheater in Waterloo Park, and I can honestly say…read moreit was one of the best live music experiences I've had in Austin. This venue is absolutely stunning. The combination of open green space, modern design, and downtown skyline views creates a unique atmosphere that feels both intimate and expansive at the same time. It's the kind of place where you can spread out on the lawn or sit closer to the stage and still feel completely immersed in the show. The acoustics are incredible--clear, balanced, and powerful without being overwhelming. Every note and lyric came through perfectly, which made an already amazing performance even more memorable. I also love how seamlessly the amphitheater blends into Waterloo Park. It doesn't feel like a typical concert venue--it feels like a thoughtfully designed outdoor experience where music, nature, and the city all come together. Whether you're seeing a legendary artist like Sting or just catching a local show, I highly recommend attending a concert here. Moody Amphitheater is truly one of Austin's gems and a must-visit for music lovers.

It's a nice space and the lawn seating is decent as well. Like most venues, expect to pay a ridiculous price for beverages and food. Lines can get insanely long. Definitely not a place you want to drive to, parking is pretty close to non-existent. We actually walked one way on each of our visits and then took a car service. That's the best option. Overall, really good experience during both visits.

This center…read morehad lots of great good options from nachos to burgers, chicken strips and pizza conveniently priced between $13-$19, shaved ice and ice cream for about $15 , and adult beverages; large domestic beer $13, small for $8, and craft cocktails for $16 with a great selection of spirits. The restrooms are easy to find and very clean. And parking to the event was also convenient with a general price of $15 with a small walk to the main entrance or if you want closer parking there's a $40 option. Families and friends groups of all ages were cheering the teams on as they fought for victory. The HEB center is such a well organized facility to host various sport and entertainment events. If you are here for a basketball or volleyball game make sure you bring your jacket. The whole center is cold since the hokey team also uses this facility and be prepared to walk through security as you enter. The team members of the center are very friendly and help guide you to where you need to go. I really enjoyed watching a volleyball game here with friends. Our comfortable seats were easy to find by following all the section signs along the halls. This was overall a great experience and the perfect place to catch a local game!

I attended the concert at HEB Center to see Anthony Hamilton and Fantasia and purchased the All In…read morePremium Loge Package. The Great The All In Premium Loge package was a strong value. It includes two tickets in a semi private area, a parking pass, two alcoholic drinks each, unlimited non alcoholic beverages, and a full buffet. The view was unobstructed and excellent. There is an elevator that takes you directly to the correct level, which makes access easy. The bathrooms were clean, close by, and had no lines. The dedicated area for food and drinks meant we avoided the long bar lines, which was a big plus. The buffet included salad, vegetables, mashed potatoes, chicken, carved beef, rolls, and desserts. The line moved quickly and the food was enjoyable. The Good While the food was solid, the seating area does not include tables to place your food or drinks. The seats did not appear to be larger than standard seating and there is no additional legroom. (I'm 5'10") That was a bit surprising for a premium package. Although the view was unobstructed, the venue could benefit from additional jumbo screens placed around the arena. The main screen could also be zoomed in more to enhance the experience. The Bad The sound quality was the most disappointing part of the night. The music was too loud and at times you could not hear the artists clearly. Both Anthony Hamilton and Fantasia are powerhouse vocalists who do not need heavy production. Instead of clear, crisp voice isolation, they sounded muffled. After multiple audience complaints, the sound improved, but it was distracting and took away from the experience. The package also advertised dedicated guest services and event staff support. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We could not find anyone to help us locate our seats or answer questions. The only visible staff were those managing the buffet and the check in area. For a premium experience, that was frustrating. Overall Despite the issues, I had a great time with my friend and we truly enjoyed the concert. I would consider using the All In Premium Loge Package again, but with adjusted expectations. Tips * Avoid the main entrance and use a secondary entrance for quicker entry. * If you do not have a bag, use the express line. (We had small clear bags and were allowed to use th express lane) * Download your tickets to your wallet before you get to the event. * The highway exit for the event can feel chaotic with heavy traffic and aggressive drivers. Consider driving past the first entrance and heading to the second exit. * Take your time after the event to avoid the traffic jam. All in all, it was a fun night. With a few operational improvements, especially around sound quality and guest services, the experience could move from good to great.

Game days and nights at DKR are a spectacle! Game days are swarming with people trying to get to their gates, lines of people trying to order food and drinks, vendors setting up in the middle of nowhere to sell beer, water, seltzers, etc. *Water from these vendors can cost you more than the stadium stores. I don't know how pricing is determined. You can find self serve stadium stores for water, drinks, and snacks. They also have free water filling stations so you don't have to break the bank ordering water, but these can be hard to find when hundred of thousands of people are around. They also offer many food options from Pluckers, Tony C's, SmokeyMo's, Stubbs, HTeaO, Amy's, and so much more. Download the maps to easily find first aid sections, food and drink locations, and make sure to wear your fitness trackers because those stairs are massive.

The energy is always lively in the building. I will warn people. Be aware of the weather and the time of the day of the game. My friends and I enjoyed the game. But we went to a noon game on a day that it was over 90 degrees. Even with hats, we couldn't last the whole game and had to leave early. If you go during a hot day, I'd recommend buying covered seating if possible. If you can, I'd also suggest trying to go to a night game. Night games are way better. Regardless, the stadium is amazing and the team has been phenomenal. Since moving to Austin, I go to games all the time with my wife and friends.
