Hotel room - tv is covered and draped which you can adjust with a chain

A creative's dream and a beautiful space for the city of Austin. I think many folks who aren't familiar with Soho House or come from different houses might not realize this is more of a collective/satellite and not a flagship as one would expect in New York or Mexico City. When you lose that expectation and walk in with an open mind, you'll be welcomed by a staff that is truly some of the friendliest and does everything in their power to make you feel at home. From member hosted events to their rooftop pool with cabanas, there are so many little touches of interior decorating and it really makes me smile. The hotels are setup beautifully with a spacious shower, amenities, and a super comfy bed. My favorite touch is the tapestry cover for the tv which doubles as decor. They've recently updated their parking policy so make sure to inquire how you can get super low pricing for parking. This might be a bit quirky but the bathrooms here are gorg. I am always admiring the materials used lol.

After UT game day on Saturday a friend who has a membership invited us to check out the bar/restaurant. I've been to Soho House a few times now with friends and have had a nice time at the pool, bar, etc. We enjoyed some cocktails, snacks, and conversation. The food is good but overpriced, imo, and parking is really expensive if you don't luck out and get street parking. We had to flag down waitstaff a few times to order or remind them to bring items they said they would bring. They also didn't make it clear when they asked if we wanted crudite (veggies) with our guac that it costs extra for that and chips. They only have one bathroom at the bar level so often it's occupied or you have to go down a floor to use it.

Very neat place. Went for a chess club event and was a super cool venue. Had an absolutely delicious drink (with a pepper stem as a garnish) that I still think about days after. Can get a bit crowded but the vibe was nice.

Great place to spend a day or a few with friends. Service is topnotch and love the food and cocktail options. Their mocktails are equally great and the guacamole and the truffle fries are perfect for a pool day. The cabanas are first come, first serve but there's usually availability. My only complaint is I wish service was better in the pool area when there are events going on. It seems like there are not enough servers to handle the crowds.

Lovely hangout spot. Delicious food and drinks. They offer a nice spread of appetizer and drinks options. Cheers!

This review is for my brunch experience only. Our friend took us here as guests, which was much appreciated! The ambience in the restaurant was very nice and it was a good place to chat and hang out. I got the migas tacos, which was not very good. The tortillas were dry and hard. The meat was dry and hard. There was a generous amount of avocado which was good. The tacos lacked flavor. I would give these tacos 2/5 stars. I tried my friend's pancakes, which were amazing! Super fluffy with crispy edges. I also tried some of my other friend's eggplant dip, which was pretty good, but didn't blow my mind. Maybe it needed a stronger flavor?

Awesome amenities!! This was pretty much a full on bar and left me a gift bag full of fantastic skin care products.

Aside from the brunch this afternoon, this place is pretty much perfect. Low key af but full of surprises. Soho House seems to have thought of everything that one might need. I've been to a few Soho houses and they all seem to have different layouts but the same high standards. I rather like their chain and what they seem to be about.

Came here for brunch. Everything was made fresh. We had bottle of Moët to pair with our brunch not many pictures because pictures are prohibited from what I'm told. This spot is a vibe for sure. Beautiful views, ppl were great and food was excellent.

While this is a private, members-only club, as i understand it, they have "Friends of Soho House" memberships that you can get and you can rent a room for the night (at any Soho House) & have access to all the amenities during your stay. (Soho House has locations all around the world.) There is a pool with cabanas that you can book! Our first visit has been great! Attentive staff, gorgeous (NEW) decor. Very comfortable. Lots of seating options in the bar area (tables, couches, family style tables, more intimate 2-tops and, of course, stools at the bar). Our waiter, Jeremy, was AMAZING! Very friendly, with lots of helpful tips on the menu & he brought me more of a sauce I LOVED (it was on the shishito peppers). They have RECENTLY opened & they are still under construction in several areas (theater & rooms). We'll DEFINITELY continue our membership & take advantage of this great club & it's amenities.

I was invited as a guest of a member and have visited twice. I have enjoyed my time here both times. No specific brunch menu has been presented to us either time which is a little disappointing as I've seen posts with tacos and waffles but those aren't on the menu. I felt the food was overpriced in general but probably on par for downtown Austin. I enjoyed my chopped salad and we've ordered a poolside BBQ pizza which was excellent as well. The picante de la casa and the Calle ocho were my fave drinks. The pool gets packed with people by 2, yet it's nice and cool in this 100 degree heat. There are about 30 cabana spots, so it's luck of timing if you get one. Service is slow in general as others have mentioned but everyone was nice. I will definitely continue to return.

The venue itself has a lively, open feel with an urban backyard vibe and plenty of space to move around, mingle, and actually take in the installation without feeling crowded. What stood out most was how well the space complemented the event. The layout made it easy to engage with the installation while still enjoying the social vibe. They had space for working virtually as well as displays to test some of the technology. There's a nice balance between indoor comfort and that signature rooftop-style setting, which gives it a relaxed but elevated feel. The staff was friendly and kept things running smoothly, and the overall setup felt thoughtfully organized. Whether you were there to focus on the installation or just take it in casually, the environment supported both. The line was somewhat long to get into the event as it was at capacity and could only allow more people as people were leaving the event. I was given a drink ticket and got to try the Patio Pounder with ilegal mezcal, primo aperitivo, tropical citrus, coconut, grapefruit soda. The bartender was efficient even though the lines were long. The cocktail was enjoyable with the balance of smoky and citrus flavors. They also had a variety of food bites available including chips and queso. creamy street corn, and sliders. The food was gone relatively quickly due to the crowds but it would be replenished periodically. Overall, Upstairs at Caroline proved to be a solid venue for a creative SXSW event versatile, welcoming, and very on-brand for Austin's arts and tech scene.
