So this is an overall review, and more so for people who have never had Bojangles. If you've had Bojangles before, and if you're eating here and reading this review, you're a victim of your own circumstance. This is my very first time ever eating at this place, and unless there is absolutely no other food options available wherever I am, and I am on the very Verge of utter starvation, it could quite possibly be the last. First off, I did a mobile order, and by the time I walked across the street, the nice girl was already boxing and bagging it. I only interacted with that one employee, but she was super nice. The restaurant was really clean, but I only spent about 2 minutes in it. As far as fast food chicken goes, in my opinion, Popeyes is the Pinnacle of fried chicken. And their sides are superior to that of other places. I sort of think that this place is trying to emulate popeyes, by their choice of sides, (similar to how that DUMP and joke of a burger place called five guys, which I have no idea how they're still in business because their food straight out sucks and it's overpriced) tries to emulate in and out. (but on side note, both places lack flavor and seasoning). I ordered a three piece, 2 thigh and one drumstick meal, with dirty rice and coleslaw as my sides. The dirty rice, especially compared to popeyes, just sucks straight ass. Super bland and unflavorful. The coleslaw, is typical slaw you get at a fast food joint. Reasonably priced at around $11, because if you paid any more, and you were like me, you would be very disappointed. The chicken, was cooked well, but just lacks flavor. I even used some Louisiana hot sauce on it per the norm, and I had a few packets of Cajun sparkle from Popeyes with me, that I put on the rice, along with my hot sauce, and it was mediocre at best. I can't blame the employees for the food quality and taste, because that's a corporate thing, but I will say hands down Popeyes destroys this place. And even KFC in my opinion is a lot better than this place. No complaints about service, just not my thing. At least I can say I tried it, and they tried, but it's just mind blowing how all these franchises are able to thrive with a lackluster product, especially in a very competitive market surrounded by multiple restaurants in the immediate area. Hopefully their loyal customer base never tries a different fried chicken joint. If the service and employees weren't so good, this would be more of a 1 1/2 star review. It's your typical fast food. Fried chicken available for breakfast. The service was great. I ordered a chicken biscuit sandwich and it was tasty. However after a hour my stomach was upset and it wasn't a pretty site! Maybe my stomach just couldn't handle that type of food. read more

This place sucks!!! I've been there several times and we always have to wait in the drive-through for a minimum of 20 minutes for any food... If they even have it. Every time I go, they don't have whatever I'm ordering. Today my husband went there and after waiting over 20 minutes and already paying... They came out and said they don't have what he ordered!!! This is Bojangles' restaurant #949 located just off I-85 in Commerce, Georgia. It's just off the same exit, exit 149 (US 441 - Commerce, Homer, Banks Crossing), as the Tanger Outlets. In addition to the outlets, there are a lot of chain restaurants and gas stations off this exit, making it a popular pit stop between Atlanta and South Carolina. We stopped by this Bojangles' to pick up breakfast for the road on our way to North Carolina. Bojangles' is known for their fried chicken and biscuits, but I decided to try a sausage and egg biscuit at this location. It was very good and it stands up to my favorite fast food sausage biscuit from McDonald's. Bojangles' biscuit is bigger than McDonald's and the sausage patty seems a little bigger as well. While on the greasy side, Bojangles' biscuit hit the spot. I got the combo which costs $4.48 after tax. It came with Bo-tato Rounds (a.k.a. Bo Rounds) which are essentially mini hash brown discs. They're thick and tasty. Many argue that Bojangles' fries, which are coated in a special seasoning, are better than the Bo Rounds. My buddy got those with his meal and they were yummy too. You can't go wrong with either side. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. Everything came out quick except for the fries. We had to wait on those because they had to cook a fresh batch. Coincidentally, we went to another Bojangles' (in North Carolina) on the same day for a late-night snack and ran into the exact same problem. read more

Just sad..sad. Sick and tired of lazy entitled you know what work ethic. Got there at 8:00. They close at 9 and manager wouldn't serve me bc he said they were closing early. This place is a great stop off the highway. Can't beat a drive thru on a rainy day. My husband and I both got the breakfast combo (bacon, egg, and sausage biscuit, hash brown nuggets, and coffee) and this came to just over $10. A great value if you ask me! The biscuits were really good. The hash browns were tasty if a bit salty/greasy. What really surprised me was the coffee. It was great! They didn't ask if we needed cream or sugar, but it was actually really high-quality coffee, so we didn't need it. Would stop on by again! read more

I periodically stop here due to the location and everything becomes more and more negative with each visit. I was wondering why there were lines at all of the other restaurants but not Bojangles. It was almost as if the restaurant was intentionally pretending to be closed. I walked inside and attempted to order and was told that the lobby was not serving and that I would need to go thru the drive thru. After driving to the drive thru we were told there would be a long wait. Not sure why they don't want business. It's Friday afternoon. read more

The worst service EVER! I waited for 7 minutes at the drive thru for the lady to take my order because she had to 'drop some chicken' then while paying she advised that chicken would take another eleven minutes and instructed me to park to the side. After THIRTY minutes I returned to the window where she said, "I didn't realize anyone was waiting" which was ridiculous as I was within direct line of sight of the window at all times. terrible service.. they did not acknowledge us when we walked in for like 5 minutes, just looked at us. then someone from the back came up to take our order. we waited 20 minutes with no update on our food even though we were the only ones here. they were talking on the phone and just staring at us. we eventually asked for an update and they said 5-10 more minutes. moral of the story is go somewhere else read more

From order to receiving we waited 10 minutes at 3 in the afternoon. She messed up our order and lost our receipt. Didn't give cups to drink.

If you want to wait a long time on your food (when the restaurant is dead) and still receive fries that are so stale you can't eat them, this is a great location to visit. read more

We have given Commerce, GA Bojangles' many opportunities due to convenience. What has been consistent is a long wait and less than satisfying food. Today, for instance, I went during prime lunch time (12:45 p.m), ordered a chicken sandwich. Arrive to my office to eat and find that I've been given a chicken biscuit instead with the chicken being so overcooked and dry (perhaps it was old and reheated??), it was inedible. Tossed in the garbage. Lesson learned - won't go back. Do yourself a favor and go to chick-fil-a instead. read more

Terrible Food. The fries were over-cooked. The Cajun Filet sandwich was cold. Nobody cares about anything anymore.

Food is okay, management needs a lot of work. And when you have bad management it tends to leak down into all the other staff members. They cannot handle a lot of orders at once like other locations can. 25min wait for a 2 piece dinner due to poor management skills in keeping the flow of things moving..sad because I love their chicken read more
