Was absolutely excited when I found out these guys had come to Houston and being that they were a staple on my weekly runs when I lived in Virginia, i had to stop by this weekend. It seemed pretty quiet but it was an early Saturday so I wasn't alarmed. Soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and a question of our first time at the establishment. I let the manager know I'd been before but only on the East Coast and he proceeded to let me know that BO had decided to change the menu for their Texas visit. Already, i wasn't impressed with that change but we decided to get some tenders and sides. Mac & Cheese is really good but could have been hotter as in temperature but great flavor. The chicken tenders were decent but I could have gone with better flavoring? one huge downfall is that they do not sell "bone-in" chicken....yeah - they lost 3 stars with that decision!! all in all, it was decent but wouldn't beat out any of the other chicken places around Houston. Probably won't go back again because I wasn't really impressed and they're just not in my daily route.

Friendly service and clean tables. These chicken tenders were fresh, hot, and incredibly juicy. The kind you can tell were made to order. The chicken was tender on the inside with a perfectly crisp coating on the outside, not greasy at all. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying, making them way better than your average tenders. Simple, well done, and absolutely delicious. One of the best biscuits and unsweetened tea I've ever had!

This place recently opened in our area. We decided to try them out tonight. The restaurant was very clean including the restrooms. Our cashier, Shannon, was very friendly and appeared to be working both the drive thru and counter by herself. The menu is very simple which made it easy to decide what we wanted. My wife got the 3 piece meal with coleslaw and I got the four piece with Mac and cheese. My wife took one bite of her coleslaw and could not eat anymore. The vinegar was very strong making it impossible to eat. Not sure if it was as made right. The pasta in the Mac was overcooked making it very mushy. The Mac and cheese also did not have much flavor. The high point was the chicken and biscuits. The only reason I gave any stars was because of these two items. Both very good and very flavorful. I chose the Bo' sauce for my dip. This was very good. Really wish the quality of the side dishes had matched up to the chicken and biscuits.

An import from the Carolinas, Bojangles has set up shop in the NASA/Clear Lake area. This location has been open for two weeks, per one of the employees here. I've heard of Bojangles -- good things to be exact -- before so I was intrigued when I discovered this branch on Google. I went to an Astros game today, and was determined to have either lunch or dinner here afterwards. Bojangles occupies the space that was once a Genghis Grill. It's very visible from the very busy Bay Area Boulevard. Walking inside, I was amazed by how clean the dining area was. I had their three-piece combo in mind after seeing it online, but the woman at the counter told me that the location is serving tenders in the meantime. For my first-ever Bojangles order, I got the five-tender combo with a biscuit and -- hold on to your hats -- dirty rice. Well, well, well. Raising Cane's, of which there are two in the area, has some serious competition. The tenders here are big enough to fill you up in addition to being tasty. And the dirty rice? Not so bad, either. It's great that Bojangles serves the beloved Southern side dish while Popeye's, Church's, and KFC don't. I don't want to forget about the biscuit, either. Talk about fluffy and soft, just the way I like. If there's one negative to point out, it's a minor one. I saw a male employee stomp out of the kitchen in a foul mood. He was yelling as he tried to exit the store with a co-worker following behind trying to calm him down. Hopefully, whatever it was that bothered him was resolved. Another employee told me that Bojangles will open another branch in League City, which is great news to my ears since it's a bit closer to me than this one. The tentative opening for the newer restaurant is in June. Until then, the Bay Area location will get my hard-earned money.

Finally!! We have Bojangles in Houston. I fell in love with this tasty chicken biscuit while in North Carolina. The homemade biscuits are made fresh from scratch onsite. The chicken is fried to perfection. It's a large chicken patty with a light, crispy, crunch. I added American cheese to mine. They also have assortments of flavored sauces that you can add yourself. These include regular honey, housemaid ranch, honey mustard, barbecue, creamy buffalo, jalapeño ranch, and the one that we tried, peach honey pepper. It's $6.99 for a combo breakfast meal sans cheese. (Price on 3.11.24). If you are familiar with Bojangles that are east of the Mississippi River, the locations that are west of the Mississippi River do not have regular fried chicken. You'll still have to visit a different establishment if that is what you're looking for. They do have strips here, though. Bottom line - Welcome to Houston, Bojangles. We're glad you're here. Bon appétit, y'all.

It's chicken tenders, nuffin to write home about. I wished they had mash potatoes but I did get the delicious seasoned fries. I didn't receive the country gravy but I did try 3 different sauces, bbq, buffalo, and sweet peach pepper. The last was the best. The biscuit, large, crispy outside and soft in the middle. Almost describing most people to a point, I digress...tasted like old oil. Maybe it's the way of the walk? Dunno, my plate is empty, shall I return?

Authentic southern taste and customer service. I used to live in NC, I'm glad they were able to expand out here to Texas

The chicken looks over breaded till you bite it, nope plenty chicken inside strip. Biscuits was fluffy and yum. Baked Mac and cheesy was thick and rich. Most impressive was how nice the employees are. Friendly and helpful.

If you haven't been paying attention, Texas is starting to get all the popular chain restaurants from all over the country. I feel like once we decided to share Whataburger and Bucees to the nation, we got things in return. I ain't mad at that! Sharing is caring! Bojangles is a popular chain out of North Carolina that I have seen while traveling as well as watching influencers on social media. I love a good fried chicken spot so I was excited when they announced their plans to move into the Houston area. This location is in Webster. I let the hype and crowds die down a little and decided to come on a weekday after doing some shopping in the area. When I came, there was plenty of parking and the restaurant was not too terribly busy. It's only been open for a few months and I could see they were training a bunch of people out on the patio. The restaurant was clean and I saw the staff staying on top of that throughout. Good customer service for the most part. Bojangles is known for their Southern fried chicken. Spoiler alert, they don't serve bone in chicken in their Texas locations. I have noticed that these chains are coming to town, but only offering some of their items. I'm guessing maybe down the line they'll offer their full menus. I'm usually not a chicken tenders guy, but that along with chicken sandwiches or a salad is your choice for lunch or dinner. There's other chicken tender spots that do well with that concept, so why not I guess. I went the Bo's 3 piece chicken tenders combo which came with a fixin', a biscuit, sauce and a drink. I also added a side of dirty rice. The food came out shortly after and the meal looked very promising. The tenders were huge. I was thinking the 3 piece might be more of a snack but it left me nice and full. The chicken was seasoned throughout. Even inside you can see the seasoning on the chicken. The batter was nice and crispy. I chose their jalapeno ranch for my sauce. I would have liked something with some kick but that it did not. Good flavor though. The fries were delicious. Hand cut fries seasoned very well. The dirty rice was just ok. I think it had been sitting for awhile and was a bit on the mushy side. The biscuit was one of the stars of the show. Apparently their are made from scratch on premise. It was had a nice crisp exterior but fluffy inside. It had just a tad bit of a yeasty flavor the a hint of salt. Some jelly, butter or gravy would be killer on this but they did not offer any of that. Not even ketchup for the fries. I washed it all down with what they call their legendary tea. I usually steer away from sweet tea and like to get unsweetened and flavor to my liking. Here, their sweet tea was perfect. Just the right amount of sweetness. They steep fresh tea throughout the day and I saw them refill their containers. A lemon wedge would made it perfect though. Again, not offered, but I also did not ask. Overall, Bojangles was a nice find for me. Since I loved the biscuit so much, I will most definitely be back around to try out their breakfast next.

Very friendly place that deserves perfectly spiced chicken and handmade biscuits. The chicken and biscuits were fresh. Very impressed by the quality. The fries were pretty crispy but wasn't the best dish in this meal. The restaurant is clean and the service was great. Plenty of parking.

Bojangles recently opened another location in Webster. Service was excellent and staff were friendly. Did drive thru during lunch on a weekday; got my food promptly. My only gripe was that my chicken sandwich felt a bit small. Other than that, I really enjoyed the flavors! The chicken was both crispy and juicy. Seasoned fries were good but some were a little salty. 5 stars mainly for great/smooth service and good tasting chicken!

Tried Bojangles this morning (I love that they are open super early - at 5am - as I get to work before 6am and hardly anything is open that early.) I decided to try what they are known for, Bo-Berry biscuits. The outside was a little too hard but the inside was soft and yummy! I didn't realize it would be smothered in a sugary glaze so if I ordered that again, I would definitely say to not put any. It's way too sweet for the morning! I went through the drive thru and the employee who took my order was very friendly and polite. She had a smile on her face and was happy to serve. I would give her 5 stars. I'll go back to try their other items.

Whataburger versus In-N-Out Burger…read more... I had a wonderful experience last week to have both Whataburger and In-N-Out Burger. So what is better? After dining at both restaurants, I will share my thoughts and my selection, but you should try both and have some fun. I do not live in Texas anymore and thoroughly miss Whataburger. In my travels if there is a Whataburger in the area, I would choose that over most Berger joints. Why? Whataburger flame broiled burger is cooked when you place your order, I found the size of their burger bigger than In-N-Out Burger. Condiments, bun, fries are about the same. Though I did notice the hand cut french fries at In-N-Out are pretty darn good. Where Whataburger definitely makes better onion rings. In-N-Out Burger's are also cooked when you placed your order. Both are juicy and both have good flavor. Both tailor, the burger with condiments that you want, cheese,, onions, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, pickles, you get to pick. I feel that both burgers use a good bun and cook it as you would expect. Juicy and delicious Where I found a difference is that In-N-Out Burger has some catchy Marketing request like an animal burger, so you have to know the secret handshake. Whataburger is a little more traditional. They just make very good hamburgers. If you're looking for ketchy West Coast fu-fu Marketing then enjoy a In-N-Out Burger, you won't be disappointed. However, if you're looking for a better burger in size and flavor, I lean to Whataburger while they are not. " ketchy" you can't go wrong with a Whataburger. Don't forget to order the onion rings they compliment the burger well So my choice... Whataburger wins over In-N-Out Burger.
