Take Out Review: Make sure you order online if you're after a family meal, especially if you're family only like dark meat. We came in about 8pm to take out and were told we couldn't get all dark meat unless we ordered online. We offered to put an order online there and then and were told "I'll have to get my manager." ??? Regardless, we walked away with whatever they gave us. The food was good (their biscuits are so good, so are the cookies!) and I do think they have the best sweet tea so that made up for the amount of breasts they put in our large sized meal. I watch a lot of people on YouTube and one in particular has been to Bojangles many times so I knew I wanted to try it. I ordered the 2 piece meal with a side and a drink. For the side I chose mashed potatoes with the gravy on the side and for the drink I got a sweetened sweet tea. I expected the mashed potatoes to be a nice size but it was the SMALLEST scoop I've ever seen. They gave me more gravy on the side than mashed potatoes. Not ok!! The chicken was small too. Nothing compared to the chicken you get from Popeyes or Jolibee. This chicken looked like their small child. It tasted ok but had spice to it which I didn't know and it made me choke a bit cause I'm sensitive to spice. The sweet tea was nasty!! I think they make if from a tea bag then add some kind of sweetener. I dumped it out and got pink lemonade instead. I will say that the works there were very nice. Was looking at the menu for a few seconds and someone greeted me with a very nice happy voice. They took my order and I got my food in less than 2 minutes. Wait times are INSANE!! The food has too much seasoning and is too spicy especially the chicken. Both kinds of tenders are just too spicy for my pallet. I got the version that said "no seasoning" and it was STILL spicy. I have used their curbside pickup 3 times now. I will also mention there was no one else waiting when I pulled up. The first time I set the pickup time to 3:30, and I waited for a good 15 minutes before someone came out and brought the food. The second time I waited 10 minutes, and called the number on their website that they SAID to call, and the call could not even be completed as the number and vm wasn't set up yet. Eventually an employee came out and when I told him about the phone, he said "well that happens sometimes"...it happened each time I tried to call and I called 5 times. The third time it happened-tonight, I placed an order for 9:30, I got there at 9:35, hit the "I'm Here" button, and no one came out. The number didn't work either, and after 25 minutes I decided to LEAVE the pickup spot and head to the drive-through, which had served 1 person while I was waiting...I told them I had placed an order 20 minutes ago, and they just said pull around. They had it all ready like it had been sitting there for a minute, which tells me they aren't even looking at their tablets or order screens for new orders, and they didn't even see mine and only started preparing it after I came through the drive-through. What is the point of pickup if 1. pickup time takes more than 15 minutes and there's no notation of the delays, and 2. employees aren't paying attention or even doing their jobs? Each time and delay I never once got an apology for the delay, these employees only care about their paycheck and nothing else. I could see them in the establishment on their phones leaning on tables looking around like they wanted to leave. No one once looked up at their parking lot to notice me. Their open sign was also off even though they were still open till 10. I will not support a establishment that gives trash customer service to their paying customers. We don't have Bojangles back home, so I needed to try while I'm visiting VA. It was pretty decent. The batter was decently crunchy (though we put it in the air fryer when we got home). There was a hint of spice but overall needed more seasoning. I liked the dirty rice. It tasted like there was breakfast sausage but I'm totally guessing. Would I go here often if I was local? Probably not. It was nice to try though. read more

While driving up Rt29, leaving the Charlottesville area, I stopped in to this Bojangles near the airport for a chicken biscuit breakfast sandwich. The folks working the counter were pretty friendly and the inside was relatively clean. My food tasted decent and was fresh. My only issue was that there was someone sleeping in the lobby and I don't mean they were just passed out, but they were cuddled up in a blanket with their shoes off, laying on the floor next to their booth and they had a bag next to the booth (clothing/personal items?). I'm not sure if it was an employee, homeless person, or customer, but it was very odd and definitely not appropriate for a restaurant. read more

Lousy Customer Service!! Despite their annoying door chime, that rings twice when you enter, I had to get someone's attention to place my order. And when the order was ready, it was just plopped on the counter, and nothing was said to me even though I was standing right there. The ride lady (I think she was a lady?) just turned around without so much as making an eye contact. read more

It's not often you get lied to at a fast food place. I went through the drive through and they told me they were out of legs, so they asked if I wanted a second thigh instead. That sounded great -- except when I got home, I found I had two legs instead of two thighs. I called back and was told, "I meant to tell you we were out of thighs." Suuuure you did. I've been here before (always in the drive through) and service has been fine, and I like the food, but I don't plan to go back after this experience. read more

I went here the other week to get the five piece supreme and the chicken tender was not as big as these to be so I was disappointed.

I love Bojangles, every time I go south for business I stop in and get a quick bite at one of their locations. I am Geber disappointed.

This is the worst I went to get food and they messed up my order and I had to repeat my order only to still get the wrong order. They are rude today is 10/11/2020 the time was 11:59pm. Called to speak to a manager, the gentleman that answered said he was the manager he claimed he didn't here it but what he could do so I said nothing and asked for district he said he was district and corporate. Please do not go there. The young guy at the window was nice. This is my experience. I went there maybe 5 months ago and the breakfast was good and the staff at that time seemed like they love there job at the time. Who ever the manager is need to be reported. read more

I have tried this Bojangles twice recently. I ordered a chicken strip combo a couple of weeks ago. My chicken strips were so hard and cold I could not eat them. (I am not super picky but this was bad! )I ordered a chicken sandwich yesterday that had more mayo than chicken. I'm pretty sure the chicken was left over from the day before. This is probably the worst Bojangles I have ever been to. Drive through wait was 15 mins. The wait was worthless because the food I got was not only made incorrectly. It was not fresh. So what was the point of the wait? Customer service was terrible because I could see they had no urgency In them while the line behind me got longer and they ca usually walked around and talked while my sons fries were getting overcooked. We were in town visiting family and tried Bojangles for the first time. Writing a review mainly for Jaquon (I think that's how his name is spelled) because he was the most patient and professional cashier we've met. We forgot our milk bag and he ran after us to give it to us. Such great customer service and deserve a Employee of the Month award! Biscuits and fries are very good! The sweet tea is good too.
