I went through the drive through around 1:30 on a Wednesday afternoon and it moved pretty smoothly. I ordered a steak style burger with fried okra and chicken nuggets on the side, and a banana pudding milkshake. That milkshake alone was worth the stop. Shoutout to this location for having fried okra -- not every Cookout does and it's always a win when they do. The food was made well and you could tell they're frying in fresh grease, which makes a noticeable difference compared to other locations. The one thing holding it back was seasoning -- everything could've used more salt. Not a dealbreaker, just something to note. Whether that's a new location thing or just how they do it here, I'm not sure. It hit the spot and satisfied the craving. For the price point, Cookout rarely disappoints.

I ordered at probably 5:30 and was out the door within 5-10 minutes. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and they gave me an extra drink cup and bossy sauce! We got the tenders (3) with fries and a hot thigh sandwich combo. All was so delicious. I had to drive about 15 minutes to get home and it was all still so hot and fresh when I got there. I really love their fries!! It's also cute there to dine in, they gave little vintage Coke napkin holders and the whole space is really open, colorful, and inviting. It's always a plus when you can serve yourself free drink refills too!
