They routinely run out of fried chicken, and require you either wait for 15-20 minutes or get something else. When this happens, the chicken they do have tastes like it was old, sitting around for a while and lacks flavor. The service is helpful, yet often is admittedly perplexed as to how they got in this situation with not enough chicken. Visited the Ocean Beach, NC restaurant. It was clean. Service was good. We were the only customers in the building. Enjoyed the sides of beans and the rice. Got one of the family packs of chicken tenders and four pieces of chicken. The chicken and the coating ate dry. There was definitely crunch but not my favorite fried chicken. The sauces were very good but the chicken really needed them. I would try their biscuits or sandwiches next time. read more

Worst fast food experience in 45 years. They asked me to pull over for a 2 piece white chicken dinner. After 15 minutes I went inside and they said it would be three more minutes. Have been to the Bojangles in Atlantic Beach 2 times in the 9 years we have lived here. First time ordered. 20 piece meal for a picnic. When we got to our destination we had 18 wings. The latest I ordered order (January 2024) I ordered. 3 piece and 4 piece supreme dinners. when I got home with the meals each box had 2 chicken strips. This time I did returned to the store to get the correct order. This is one of the nicest looking Bojangles I have ever laid my eyes on. Very clean feel. Easy access. Located in front of the Food Lion in Atlantic Beach. Food was excellent as expected from a Bojangles. It does seem Bojangles has changed up their sauces some, I'm not sure I'm a fan of that. I stick by the old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". On arrival one of us forgot to put on his mask, the manager (working 6/28 at 10:30) yelled at him rudely to put his mask on. Understandable, however, while rudely yelling she had her mask below her nose. This does not follow the guidelines set by the store and written on the doors as you walk in. They also have maybe some of the best biscuits in the Nation. Light, fluffy, buttery goodness that is hard to past up. Nothing here is healthy food and much of it has too much salt. We've been to a lot of Bojangles over the years. In fact well over several dozen. This is one of the older locations that we've been to. However, they dish out the same awesome chicken tenders and sweet tea that every other location does. We were impressed with the friendliness of the staff and how quick our order showed. More impressive was that the chicken tenders were still hot and unlike many fast food chains they didn't simply give us tenders that have been sitting on the heater for 20 minutes. read more

I am so sad that they do not have a Bojangles where I live. This is a hundred times better than KFC or Popeye's. I really like the spicyness of the chicken and the skin is super good (if I am going to eat fried chicken I want all the fat:). The chicken isn't the only good thing, the biscuits are amazing and can stand alone by themselves, but they also have some breakfast biscuits such as a cajun filet biscuit or a sausage biscuit which are awesome. We have today on our search for a quick Dinner visiten Bojangles for the First Time. Because we are German Tourists our pronunciation is not the best and we get a wrong Order. was at this location 8/18/17 and I ordered the eight piece tailgate an extra container of gravy and unsweetened tea. The box of chicken contained five thighs, two legs and one breast. I was not informed by the cashier they were out of everything else since the box was mostly dark meat it shouldn't of been the 19.99 Price that should've been reduced. The cashier failed to give me my receipt I asked when I was handed the box if the extra gravy was in there and the cashier said yes it was but it was not.
