we got here about 3:15pm. we ordered food. I ordered shrimp and here is why only 3 stars, their sides suck. I wanted baked potato or tasty rice or something besides fries or steamed but undercooked broccoli. I ordered the wild rice. it had no flavor and I usually like wild rice. anyway, our waitress was great and the people I was with are great and my drink order was also great. It's not often that you find a hidden diamond in the rough, but I think I just found it. Bogey's Pub and Grill is a small pub at the Highland Hills Golf Course, a short distance off of 20th Street. I wasn't expecting much from it, given the size. My waitress, Kendra, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered a single cheeseburger with bacon and cheddar, but they were out of cheddar. She came back to me to let me know and to offer alternative cheeses, of which I chose provolone. The burger was pretty good size, I guesstimate about 4 1/4 inches in diameter. The patties fit perfectly on the bun and it was a nice soft brioche-style bun. The fries were good by themselves, they didn't need any salt or additional seasonings. I don't know why I didn't find this gem of a restaurant in Greeley sooner - and I've lived here all 35 years of my life! I would definitely eat here again. read more

Food at Bogey's is always consistent so this review isn't about the food. Going to Bogey's I don't expect a high level of care but tonight was awful both from a timing and safety standpoint. Timing- my wife came really close to just refusing her beer when it finally came out almost 10 minutes after ordering. And in general the food timing was horrid. Prime rib (already cooked, just needs heated), salad and premade soup really shouldn't take very long. COVID is real my friends and if you agree Bogey's is not the place to be. Only one of the five servers wore a mask at any time, unless of course you count having it hang from their ear as wearing it. Neither bartender was ever masked. The owners? Nope, including the guy going in and out of the kitchen. Given that the servers are young college-aged gals one had to think that is they do not wear masks when working in a dining establishment (as the statewide policies call for) then one has to assume they are not at any other point and are unlikely to be taking the virus seriously. So, solid prime rib as always but if you are concerned at all about COVID, find a other place to go. read more

Service was horrible. We arrived just a bit after 11:30. Took forever for our lunch order to be taken. One salad came out incorrectly after waiting 20 minutes for our salads. A table of three, who arrived after we did, received their salads before we did. Then their food came out promptly thereafter. Finally, my husband asked our server if we were ever going to receive our fish n' chips. She said she'd check. Meanwhile, the table seated after us finished their burgers. Our server returned to tell us our "ticket was next." What? It had not even been started. My husband asked her to pull the ticket as we'd already been there an hour and ten minutes. It was very difficult to get our server's attention to order in the first place. I had to ask a different server for additional ranch, since I could not get the attention of our own server. The restaurant was about half full, so not really sure what caused the sun-par service. read more

Honestly one of the worst group of people I've ever met. None of the staff showcased good mannerism along with the bald headed hog of a owner. Everyone is constantly outside smoking like trains while no one's there to attend their tables. The food was barely edible would have been better off going to Mac Donald's. read more

Conflicted between 2 or 3 stars but 2 it is. I've golfed at enough places to notice that the quality of the on premise "Grille / Pub" generally coincides with the demographic of the golf course. Bogey's is no exception. Essentially you are in for comfort food and a bar that does the basics with a standard tap selection. The waitstaff here is all female and generally seem to be college girls. There are no uniforms so you really can't tell who works there and who doesn't. However, you'll get clued in quickly, most of the waitstaff wear short shorts (almost the inappropriate variety). Most afternoons the bartender is generally busy and if you sit at the bar it always takes a bit of time to get noticed. Pop in after the 9th hole for a take out beer? You won't get it quickly. read more

Just moved to Greeley. Wanted to try out Bogey's. Once we finally did we were extremely disappointed. We walked in we got no welcome,all the waitresses just stared and still no response no smile they looked at us like we were lost(mind you we are clean and respectable Americans)...no we will be right with you or welcome to Bogey's. They seemed to be friendly with customers they already knew (regulars) which is great but you should treat every guest new or not with great customer service. It just left a bad taste in our mouths and we will not be going there anytime soon. read more
