But what is most impressive is their liquor selection. They have a strong selection of local and regional / colorado liquors which is so cool to see, and even more, one brand i consider uncommon but close to the heart from my wedding, they started carrying in the last 6 months. Some weird telepathy going on!

I saw an interesting Polish liquor, took a photo to look up later and was told I was making him nervous because I did not need any help. Then he told me to leave. Not sure what's the deal with this place but won't be returning. Was looking for ingredients to make a grog but lucky for me there are plenty of liquor stores around that offer much better service Edit: The selection is laughable. The store is large like a total wine but the shelves are empty as well as the parking lot. Hopefully the poor customer service runs everyone to find better as I won't beg anyone to take my money. Additionally I was officially told to leave due taking a photo and making the clerk nervous. If you visit their facebook page you can see one of their top reviews has a photo clearly taken by a customer in the store. I have attached it here in case it mysteriously disappears from the original source (https://www.facebook.com/NorthstarLiquorSuperstore/reviews) I will make it my business to ensure no one else shops here

I went inside to browse, and it seemed their only plus was the drive through. There was an older employee there that would not ring me up, walked right past me to the register and would not clear her counter to let me set my purchases down. I had to go to the other register that was also ringing up the drive through, so again I had to wait. The cashier there was also one of the most unfriendly people working customer service, so once again, I won't be back.

The main selling point, aside from being close to home, is the staff. They have always been super-friendly, and very helpful. Even if you ask, what liquor snobs would call, a "dumb" question, they seem to answer it and try to help you find what you want without treating you like an idiot. (I got a quick lesson in champagne basics last New Years and I think the clerk actually enjoyed telling me, whereas other liquor stores sometimes tend to treat those questions with a "Gosh, what a waste of my time" approach..
