I love the convenience of this store as it is in the same parking lot as the grocery store and several delicious restaurants. The staff here have always been friendly to me, patient if I am browsing, and thorough in ringing me up. The selection is pretty darn good, and if they don't have something you want, let the staff know up front and they can likely order it to the store and let you know when it arrives. I can't understand the negative reviews about the staff as every time I've been in, they are very kind. Nearly every time I stop in, they have someone carry my order to my car for me! THEY OVER CHARGE So I came in to buy Mississippi mud. Found out I had been over charged this whole time at 4.99 for a product that sells everywhere else for 3.50. I brought it to the attention of the manager and she said that it was 3.50 and that she would have it fixed. I came back in to the liquor store and he charged me 4.99 so I asked him to take it off and that I'd come back. When I came back they were impatient to tell me that they would not change the price because the product isn't selling. WHAT? That makes no sense. You won't sell an over priced product just fix it? On May 4, 2021 only 1 of 3 employees wore a mask. One woman, I believe a manager, seemed to smirk at customers with covered faces. The maskless clerk at the cash register explained that the store owner had decided to lift the mask mandate. "It's now personal preference," he said. He declined to share whether he and the other maskless employees have been vaccinated. As herd immunity from Covid-19 becomes increasingly impossible and as local infection rates rise and vaccination rates decline, Westlake Wine & Spirits is doing its part to keep us in the ongoing grip of the coronavirus. I disagree that infecting others with a potentially deadly virus should ever be a "personal preference." I made my last purchase at Westlake and will do what I could have done years ago - buy my beer along with my groceries at the supermarket in the same shopping center. I know they support local events all the time, they do wine tastings and the owner is VERY community involved. We occasionally make that 170 mile one way trip to do a major stock up. I stopped in to Westlake Wine & Spirits today and was greeted with a smile and a hello by the staff working on a Sunday. The have so many beers to choose from I had to ask the staff to help me. They are super friendly and even carried my order to the check out counter for me. The store is clean, the beer is cold and the staff is great. One of the reasons I like Westlake Wine & Spirits is their selection of international wines, especially the Australian and Spanish, although they carry a respectable selection of European wines. The owners and staff are informed on the wines they sell. I also liked it when they provided the wine and drinks at performances of the Greeley Symphony Orchestra. read more

So every time I go here they always offer to help me out especially when I have my young son (almost a year). Today the owner or manager joked with me right when I walked in and then asked my son's name and said hi to him. Then the young guy checked me said he'd help me to my car. As I was leaving I overheard the first guy telling another guy behind that counter to make sure he does that. He gave an example of another lady that came in with a baby.
