I've never felt so blindsided and disturbed in my life. I wish they would have handled it better as I did nothing wrong. I'd stay away unless you wanna be watched- especially after a day where I had to escape a dangerous situation at a bar including a far right nazi who threatened to hurt me at a bar, police were even involved. I went in for a Powerade and was verbally attacked.

9th Avenue Liquor is in a small strip mall with a dollar store and a fabric store, and it is…read moreprobably a little shabby. But what I like about this place, other than its close proximity to Old Town, is the selection of inexpensive, quality wine! I can always find good wine ranging in price from $5.50 to $10.00. I have found that other liquor stores either don't bother carrying wine with a low price point, or if they do it is better off used as cooking wine. My husband has also found that the beer prices are better than other stores in town for Avery, Left Hand, New Belgium, etc. Again, it is a little rough around the edges, and if I could give partial stars, this might be a 3 and a half. Oh! And I almost forgot! If you bring in a cork, you get a dollar off your bottle of wine. How sweet is that?

The main selling point, aside from being close to home, is the staff. They have always been super-friendly, and very helpful. Even if you ask, what liquor snobs would call, a "dumb" question, they seem to answer it and try to help you find what you want without treating you like an idiot. (I got a quick lesson in champagne basics last New Years and I think the clerk actually enjoyed telling me, whereas other liquor stores sometimes tend to treat those questions with a "Gosh, what a waste of my time" approach.. We've had W.D.L. recommend wines, and champagne, and they have never steered us wrong. Two-Thumbs up from me. Located right behind the 'Egg & I' off of Main Street in Windsor. They're always well stocked with an excellent wine selection - try the Forchini label - and a great selection of local craft beers. They're at least on par with other stores but if you join the points club, you can easily save some money.

I visited Fish's Liquor in Fort Collins after watching a nationally broadcast video that featured a…read morecustomer purchasing a particular spirit from the store at a specific price. Just a few days later, I visited the store hoping to purchase the same bottle and found it priced at more than three times the amount shown in the broadcast. To be clear, I understand that businesses can set their own prices and that prices may change at any time. My concern is not simply the price itself. My concern is how I was treated when I politely asked about the difference and referenced the video I had seen. Instead of receiving a reasonable explanation, I was met with what I felt was a rude and dismissive attitude from two employees. When I asked to speak with a manager or the store owner, I was told that neither worked weekends. Rather than offering a way to contact management or trying to address my concerns, I was repeatedly asked to leave the store. As a customer, I felt embarrassed, unwelcome, and disrespected.. I was simply asking a reasonable question about a product and its pricing. I would have been perfectly satisfied with a professional explanation, even if I disagreed with it. Unfortunately, the interaction left me feeling unwelcome and unfairly treated. I am posting this review in the hope that the store owner or manager will respond. I would genuinely like to understand why I was treated this way and whether this reflects the level of customer service Fish's Liquor expects its employees to provide. If management would like to discuss this incident, I would welcome the opportunity to have a respectful conversation. Until then, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Fish's Liquor and will be taking my business elsewhere.
