Love this place. I went in on my dog Axl's birthday to get his nails clipped and we started talking about the pricing of the bathing which is honestly the best I've found in this area. I ended up doing a full bath with de-shedding. Valdez and his partner overheard me saying it was Axl's birthday and not only did they give him an awesome bath but they also put a happy birthday bandanna around his neck. I've been coming here to the crossroads location for years for self wash for my two shepherds, when I started the wash was $11 per dog, $22 for 2 washes $10 tip for cleaning up after my fur balls, double coated dogs are no joke at wash time! then it went up to $15 per dog, still got a $10 tip but this last time they charged me for the weight of my dogs so it was over $20 per dog, tip after that was $2. Sorry but at that price I'm done with your business and all your doing is hurting the employees that depended on those tips, because now you've lost a customer and they lost tip revenue. read more

Had a very stressful event happen today when taking my older dog to the self dog wash. When washing my dog her nail got stuck in the drain she panicked and fainted. I thought she was dead as she went completely limp. I got her unstuck and held her and she woke up. The girl at the front desk was very sweet and came and made sure she was alright. She said she would call the manager we told her we were okay and that it accident. When the manager Autumn came she gathered her employees and began to whisper. Then she proceeded to tell us how she would not bring her old dog to a self-dog wash and that it was probably very stressful for her with the blow dryer and everything. I know my dog and she was completely fine until her nail was stuck! They mentioned dogs getting their nail stuck and panicking and ripping them off. This had happened there before!! I have been a regular here to wash my dogs and recently it seems employees are becoming more unprofessional . I arrived to wash my dogs and was told there were two before me. I was fine with that and I specifically asked if I can be added to the wait list to which a short Hispanic employee (did not get name due to her attitude) told me there was not one and to just wait. I reiterated twice I'd be waiting outside since my dog gets excited with other dogs and yells and the lady told me ok. Like any other normal business with average customer service, I expected to be called when it was my turn .... Again, i didn't mind waiting. An hour and a half passes. No big deal. I kept making myself visible right outside the business but it wasn't until a couple who got there WAY after me left before me with two dogs who got self washed. I walked inside and the lady who"helped me" (overstatement) called in another lady who got in there AFTER ME to go use the tubs. I confronted her telling her I was waiting for a long time and they both got there after me and helped after me. She claimed it was my fault for not being in the business. I have two large dogs.... I SPECIFICALLY told her I'd be outside and she said that was fine. I confronted her on that and she said she didn't communicate it to her coworkers because she was on lunch. Girl, your lunch shouldn't be more than an two hours (at this point how long I was there) and that's still no excuse for poor customer service to not communicate. Especially when you see me outside. Anyway I wash my dogs and come to pay and she is doing everything to not stare at me. I wouldn't be upset if I got an apology from her or if they tried to compensate with a discount but no. I paid full price (which price increases) because she didn't want to fess up to her mistake. 40 dollars for waiting an unnecessary two hours. I will not go there again as customer service was terrible and that's time I could have been using to run additional errands. I even told another employee they should do basic things like make a list of it gets busy and she even said "well you can come on Tuesdays when it's not as busy" that's the thing. I didn't mind waiting as long as the process was fair and priority was going to the next one up. Not just people they favor. Just trying to show them how to do basic skills. That's all read more

I have brought my Husky here for quite some time to get groomed and I haven't seen any other groomers outside or this location. Tracey, Ray and the staff are extremely kind and great at their jobs. My Husky, although is not a fan of baths, is always happy to see the staff and get her peanut butter treat after her bath. I know Huskies are very vocal and can be a bit much when bathed but Ray and Tracy do a great job of keeping my pup calm throughout her bath. 10/10 would recommend. read more

This took a while for me to make. I was absolutely floored by the kindness and amazing job they did with my baby. I went in because we unfortunately, had to put my dog of 13 years down due to health issues and I wanted him to be groomed so that he was comfortable. Before this I took him to petco who just told me straight up no and would not help me because he couldn't stand. When I came in I talked to Robin who listened very kindly while I cried and carried him to the back to Tracy who didn't hesitate to help. Ray really helped my baby calm down as he had very bad anxiety. Because of them my baby Gully got to be as comfortable as could be before we took him in. She is a shelter dog and has some separation anxiety if we leave her anywhere normally , but they make her feel right at home. I took our large, smelly, shedding dog Lucy here for the DIY dog wash. (Found on Yelp) The store is clean, well organized and very reasonably priced. For about $11, you get shampoo/conditioner, use of an apron, brushes and a comb, 2 towels and a blow dryer in a PRIVATE room. Everything was perfect, everything worked perfectly. The bath tub was clean and the perfect height with a spray nozzle and a rubber mat. My dog needed a little coaxing to get in at first (I brought treats, it helped) after I got her in, she did great. I even streamed music from my phone in the room. I really liked this shop. The sales associate Chris, was so very helpful and friendly. She explained the shampoos and easily answered all of my questions and showed me various products. They carry a large selection of treats, toys, homemade goodies, oils, chews, snacks and high quality pet foods. I bought a shedding tool and some dog food and was given some samples of freeze dried dog food that our dog loved. Thank you Bogarts for providing a place to take big dogs to bathe. Much easier than at home. I look forward to returning for the stress free, no drama bathing experience. If your dog doesnt do well with strangers grooming him/her and you feel comfortable doing it yourself, than I wholeheartedly recommend this place. read more

I've been taking my mini golden doodle here for about a year now and I WILL NOT take him anywhere else. Tracy and Ray are great at what they do. I have never had any problems with them or the job they do. Tracy is always smiling and you can tell she genuinely cares about her work and the animal she's grooming. We travel fulltime around the country and finding a good place to wash our dog is often a challenge. This is the best self-wash set-up I've found anywhere! Each tub is in a separate room with everything you need to get doggie clean. The tub and the floors have rubber mats so everything is safe from slips. The spray pressure and water temp are consistent. Plenty of shampoo and a variety of clean brushes and combs are provided. The groomer was great about taking my dog in to clip her nails when I was done washing her. I've been a customer of Bogart's for years now and this location is my favorite one. The staff is always friendly and the store is big enough to allow the many great options they have to be spread out in a quick and easy to find way. They introduced me to the Fromm's brand and my 10 month old German Shepherd loves it. He never had any issues with it. Stopped in to browse and left with a few treats for the pups. I love that they have so many healthy options and wholesome brands of foods and treats. They carry my favorite, The Honest Kitchen. They offer self wash areas as well as grooming. The store was clean and the associate working the front was super friendly and helpful. Their bakery section has ample amount of choices but it could offer more choices. I have a picky dog so it makes it hard that some of the things are not refundable. I have found it! Reasonably priced and outstanding groomers on site. Self serve washing stations for that in between grooming times, an excellent assortment of food, treats, and other supplies to ensure your puppy has everything they need. They have a HUGE array of products available for those of us that have puppy's with allergies and sensitivities to everything, and a super friendly and knowledgeable staff to help along the way. My hubby and I adopted an English bulldog about 6 months ago, and honestly I have had a real hard time keeping him happy and well. Most groomers I talked to wanted to charge an insane amount for a simple rear end trim, This place was more than reasonable and helped me out while I waited finding treats and food alternatives for this doggie that seems to be allergic to life! I had gone into Bogarts just to check it out it seemed like an interesting store when I walked in immediately a gentleman asked me if I needed any help and if I didn't they didn't but if I did just to reach him he's there for me and he casually politely kind of walked around with a little bit with me and then gave me my space the store was extremely clean full of product and I liked it and it's in a nice area I was in there to get a toy for one of my animals and to see if they knew or had an information on how I can adopt an animal because I heard that people work that work there have a lot of connections and do a lot of work with saving pets and what not with that being said I give this piece of five I pressed for my excellent by accident and I don't appreciate some of the reviews that I have seen about Bogarts bon appétit especially in regards to the honor for people who have negative things to say especially some of the reviews I made need to remove them and be adults about things. I don't see somebody saying those things I don't see somebody acting that way especially in honor of 10 businesses who is the founder of an a very important animal agency and has a lot on her plate so I'm gonna let you go now and I'm done with my report so with that being said yes go there they also make treats for dogs that are edible for people so if you have a sweet tooth you might want to just let your dog go in order because I have a funny feeling that you're gonna walk out with a sweet tooth and then gosh gosh only knows what's gonna happen after that well this is been the longest review ever I leave this with a four and definitely try vocals for never cheat on Fort Apache and there's a few other just one in Summerlin there's a few and you'll be treated well then you tell them what you want and they will tell you that they can or they can't do it and that's all I have to say again one last time it's exhausting with a negative negative negativity that people are saying about the honors it's not right and I think you should probably take it off this is this is peoples livelihood livelihood and try and remember the last time you had a bad day think about that you know who you are you know exactly who you are and for the catch up lady that was a waste of catch-up and it was so fake have a nice day world I love each other be nice to each other and remember we all make mistakes now I think I'm gonna go and look at dogs read more

Excellent groomers! We just got our cat groomed there today by Erica, and she was outstanding! They let us come back and help/emotionally support him and the cut couldn't have been better. Erica was quick but gentle, and you can tell she's a real deal animal lover with how considerate of the pets comfort she is. No bites, no scratches, no nicks on the kitty's skin. We couldn't have had a better experience! Great location and facility as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a groomer! read more

I have been bringing my small pug here for at least a year now, and she just loves Ray. He is always very welcoming and understanding because my little one can get quite anxious. She is usually there for anywhere between 1- 2 1/2 hours depending on how busy they are (we love that Ray has stayed at the Stephanie location because it is so close to our house) and he is always very clear on how long it will take. Although my pug has very short hair and not much to work with, we are always satisfied with how soft she is and how clean her nails are after every visit. I cannot say enough good things about Ray and we hope to continue with our monthly visits. read more

My dog is under 20lbs. and for full body groom it cost $50 and I added $5 teeth cleaning. Professional staff. Very welcoming. Either bring in a copy of your dogs rabies shot or have the vet's number and they can call and confirm. My dog looks great and smells amazing! After they give a complimentary peanut butter cookie! I used to love Bogart's Henderson location. Recommended it to several people. But over the last 18 months or so, things have been declining. Half the time I go, they're out of conditioner. Several months ago, I inquired about having my dog's nails cut & ground. The woman said yes they do that, and no I don't need an appointment. The next time I went in, I was informed that they were too busy and they couldn't take care of my dog's nails. They were also out of conditioner. I came back the next day and they did do her nails but the groomer said she didn't know if they'd be able to get all the way done because the dremel had already been used a bunch and was getting worn out (battery issue maybe?). I felt like they did an incomplete job but of course was not offered a discount or apology or anything. They also frequently change their hours without updating a phone message or the website. Today was the second time I drove over to find the place closed when the website and previously posted store signs said they were open. I've had enough and I drove over to the Soggy Dog, which was much better, open as advertised, and fully stocked. I won't be returning and thought Bogart's might want to know why - maybe they can make some changes. read more

I brought my dog here today for the first time just to check it out since it's super close to my house. Immediately, we were greeted and informed of the services they had (self washing stations, nail clipping, etc) and shown around the store. They showed us the little bakery where all the treats are made by their other location with peanut butter, they were super cute! They gave my dog a few sample treats and she loved them. We decided to get her nails clipped since we were already there anyways. It was a waaaay better experience than petsmart. The groomer allowed us to sit with our dog while she clipped her nails to make her less nervous, where as petsmart makes us wait outside and doesn't even let us see what they're doing. This made me a lot more comfortable being able to watch and make sure my dog was in good hands and not scared. We ended up buying some other treats and stuff and it came out to a good price. I definitely like this place and the personable feel to it and I'll be back to try their washing stations and other yummy treats for my dog!! read more

Hello and welcome to Bogart's Bone Appetit. I used to frequent the one in southern highlands so I was excited when this one opened and finally got their grooming opened. I had taken Riley here one other time than just the most recent one. This second time was the reason for the 3 stars. I had dropped off the dog for a grooming appointment and when I came back to get him the counter was busy and the cashier appeared to be new. I am not sure of her name. It was my turn at the counter and i went to the left register when she said she could help me. I slid my card and it said it had gone through, but then she had an issue with the computer or something. she said she had to change registers. I asked if their was going to be 2 charges because I cannot have that on this particular account. The attendant said no and ran my card again. Then she tells me I was charged twice. She did return my money but said she could not just put it back on the card, and had to give me cash. I know for some it may not be a big deal, but it was a Saturday and my bank is closed and a fee was attached before I could fix my account online. Very inconvenient. It seems that the staff here is somewhat inexperienced in the front counter area of the store. Even when I call for appointments there seems to be issues and discrepancies in pricing. I have been told 2 different prices for my dog's grooming. However if I go there more than once for same dog there should not be a difference. I will say that the groomer did an excellent job compared to the next closest place which is Pets Mart. However I am not sure I will go back due to the front of house experience I have received recently. The southern highlands branch always did a good job and I never had an issue with the front of store staff. I do like their self wash area and I think their pet food and supplies are well diversified. I did not want to give a review just to be negative. They did their best for me but the added expense and inconvenience was not good. Probably shared too much personal info about my finances but I am a budget minded individual and that budget was tinkered with. Thank you for shopping at Bogart's Bone Appetit. I am debating whether to go back just because of one mistake. They do take good care of Riley and he looks happy while there. Prices are reasonable as well.
