Ms. Leticia is amazing. I truly appreciated that she walked me through the experience, and she took time to understand my current and past issues to determine the best course for my massage. Hence, adding them because I think they're worth it. Go check them out! Cozy Zen atmosphere. Loved the consultation/massage therapy area. Therapist was Lola, she made quite an impression. I am a massage snob, I know if the therapist is passionate about their sense of touching. Lola is very in tune with the clients body. I requested a deep tissue with shoulder pressure release. Lola did exactly that, in fact the full body massage was relaxing including the Aromatherapy. An added bonus was the foot scrub - nice touch. I almost felt guilty enjoying the session. Especially since I've had the same therapist for 2yrs. I guess now I'll have to alternate them ;-)

I am extremely glad I did!!!!! The massage started with Lola going over her style, some basics, and asking about my pain areas etc. She then told me her plan and what she would be doing and WHY. I loved the why. She took the time to educate me on problem areas and others that needed to be worked to help me out. Aromatherapy. Honestly, every time I've had it I wasn't impressed. Most the time there is a little squirt of something and it smells for a minute then gone. Not this! She made it part of the experience buy truly providing the best one for my needs and incorporating it into my breathing. The aroma was one of my favorite parts. The massage itself was great. Very relaxing and long (she went over the amount of time I paid for and I didn't feel like she was watching the clock like some). She had the perfect amount of pressure and overall it was great. I also had the foot scrub which was... you guessed it AMAZING! My feet are almost too soft and the exfoliation and massage was perfect after a long week. My overall experience was over the top. I've never had even close to such a great experience between the atmosphere, the masseuse, and the massage before - even at high dollar spas! I have already referred Lola and am booking my next one now!

Afterward, I spoke to the owner who is a physical therapist. I discussed with him my concerns about my back pain and he offered to do a sonogram and assessment on my back for FREE!! This was amazing and so impressive. The sonogram allowed him to see if it was my muscles or joints or what was causing the back pain so we would know the best way to address it. Afterward, he gave me several tips on how to help ease the pain & techniques for how I should/ shouldn't stretch those inflamed muscles. There is a level of true care here that shines through. I love that there is a place like this even out there that offers so much all in one place- from massages to infrared saunas to physical therapy to 3D body scanning, etc. Overall, a good quality place with articulate, caring, educated people. Highly recommended!

Now, I have to drive 25 miles and about that much time depending on traffic. BUT, it is totally worth it because after having gone for a medical massage for the past 10 months on a weekly basis, my chronic back pain and mobility is significantly improved and much more manageable. Choosing a medical massage therapist who knows the muscular system so well and knows the appropriate techniques to use for a neuromuscular massage has been life changing. The beautiful location for Solace Medical Massage housed in the Salons of Volterra McKinney is clean, comfortable, peaceful and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend Solace Medical to anyone who is seriously looking for massage therapy that will address a host of health issues you may be experiencing. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tricia. When I met her 10 months ago, I was a bit nervous about getting a massage, but Tricia with her sweet, caring personality and professional demeanor made me feel comfortable immediately. I suffer with a bulging disc in my back and chronic pain as well as inflammation due to an autoimmune disease. I see a pain management doctor and a rheumatologist both who are very supportive of medical massage as a part of my treatment. Tricia is so knowledgeable and well trained to understand various health issues particularly muscular-skeletal problems. Her techniques and skills have made a huge difference for me. Unfortunately, medicare does not cover my massage cost but medical massage has made such a difference in the management of my pain and and improved mobility, as well as sleeping better, that I have budgeted this as an important part of my overall healthcare. Over the months I have come to trust and respect Tricia as a highly skilled professional. I highly recommend that you to consider Tricia in your next step toward caring for your body.
