I have a Dallasite passport that grants us a pass to this location. I have never been to a sauna…read morebefore so had no idea what to expect. Scheduling my appointment was easy and the employee told me what i needed to prep. The location is amazing! It's in the highly popular mockingbird station! It took me a minute to realize that there is a second floor, so i couldn't find it at first. Upon arrival we filled out a waiver and got a tour. The host was informative, nice, and inviting! She was great! I loved that they posted about their rigorous cleaning methods and that i actually saw it in person. We were the last ones for the day, so all of the cleaning supplies was out and they were cleaning everything! I love that so much! It made me feel comfortable that they keep up their cleaning standards! The sauna- we were given a cabin which is a room that you sit in for the experience. We were told we could listen to music as loud as we want since the cabins are soundproof. They had a TV for people to log into their nextflix to watch something while they sit. They provided us with towels, water bottles, and back rest. The host showed us the perks of the actual sauna- chromotherapy which allowed us to pick the color we wanted, the back lights just in case we wanted to read a book, and educated up on how to change the temperature. The experience-our sauna was set to 145 degrees, which was too high. Since I'm not used to it, i kept having to come out of the cabin to get into the cool air, when maybe i could have just lowered the temperature. It was a bit hard to sit through it, there was a point i was counting down the seconds for it to end. At the end of 45 minutes i was glowing, glistening, feeling refreshed. I did have a slight headache. They have a beauty bar in the back with cute goodies to use and to help get back to the real world . My overall experience was awesome! It gave me 45 minutes to just relax, meditate, not think about the million things i have to do in the day. It should help me with my skin. I will come back when i have stress and need time to myself, for sure

Having visited Spa Castle as well as King Spa recently, you can definitely tell which one was…read morerecently renovated. King Spa facilities were more dated & felt less refined. There are laminated signs everywhere with instructions & rules everywhere. Many of the jets in the pool were broken & the steam room was out of order. However, the facilities were very well kept, they were constantly cleaning. There's a wide selection of food & a ton of seating. I like that there's a movie theater room. And the price is $25 cheaper than Spa Castle. I still enjoyed myself. Two tips: 1) Save $8 by going to Super Komart just down the street & buying a pass for just $42 if you pay in cash. 2) Bring socks! The floors of several of the sauna rooms are very hot. Shoes are not allowed but socks are. You should also bring your own towel for the water park. The complimentary ones are hand towels.

Had a fabulous sauna session at Glow Sauna Studios! Highly recommend a visit!…read more I stopped by for a 45-minute infrared sauna session with a friend. We were given a comprehensive tour of the facility, which is equipped with cold scented face towels, makeup wipes, hair ties, and anything else you may need to freshen up before or after your session! It was also very clean! Each room has a booklet describing all of the light therapy options and a TV to watch Netflix on which was so nice! They also provide towels to cover up in. It got up to 145 degrees in the sauna -- we had such a good sweat! Can't wait to come back!

They have the tiles waiting and there's also a section where one can get a makeup, wipe, a towel, or hair tie it's very considerate of the person using the sauna itself. An excellent way to spend a day relaxing by yourself or with a friend. The renovations are nice…read morealthough there are still some jets in the pools that don't work or the opposite, they blast out water to the point it almost drowns you! The indoor spaces are all really nice. I loved spending time going through all the sauna rooms & then taking a nap in the relaxation area upstairs when I got tired. The sushi place on the second floor was surprisingly good. FYI ramyun is the cheapest thing on the menu at the Korean place on the top floor & while it was good, it was clearly just instant ramyun that they charged $12 for. Next time I think I will just spring for something a little pricier. Couple of tips: It's both cheaper to go on weekdays & much less crowded. I would bring a change of clothes to wear under your robe. That way if you decide to go to the pool first, you can change out of your swimsuit to do saunas later. (Although plenty of folks just wear their swimsuit to the sauna!) Some folks say to bring a towel, but know they do provide full size towels & you can get fresh ones as needed in the locker room. If you plan to be there all day, I also recommend bringing a charger!

Mixed emotions about this newly renovated spa. You can definitely see that some spaces were…read moreupdated. The updates to the sauna and steam room in the women's water area were okay, but 2 of the water features were overflowing and the waterfall in the 70 degree pool did not work. The change to robes and towel from uniforms took away from the authentic Korean feel. Most people just wore bathing suits underneath but I could see some people pushing the limits with this. The indoor saunas were the same mostly from what I could tell. But there were some touch ups. Doesn't look like the outdoor pools received much of an upgrade. The food at the pool bar too way too long. I ordered a chicken sandwich so not sure what the reason for the delay was. The drinks were pretty good. As well as the Korean food on the 3rd floor. The double in price from the pre renovation isn't worth it to me. It's definitely more of an atmosphere to socialize than to truly relax like you would expect at a spa.

He patiently answered all my questions about the available packages, ensuring I was well educated and was able to get a package that fit my needs being I live so far. After that I experienced the compression therapy, which I highly recommend for anyone with a desk job or who sits for extended periods it felt sooo good. The spa itself is immaculate and beautifully designed, it was clean which enhanced the overall experience.
