I spend long hours working at a computer, and he was able to identify areas of tightness immediately and explain the underlying causes. The session was thorough and intentional. He spent the full hour working through problem areas and addressing long standing tension. It can be intense at times, especially if you are not used to deep tissue work, but the results are noticeable. Pricing is very reasonable and comparable to other places in the area, especially considering the quality of the service. I have already booked a follow up and plan to return regularly. I was assigned a male masseuse instead of the female therapist I requested, but I decided to give him a chance. The service, however, was nowhere near a lymphatic massage. It felt like a light Swedish massage with surface‑level rubbing--no pressure, no drainage techniques, no fluid movement, nothing resembling what I booked or paid for. I repeatedly explained that lymphatic drainage requires deeper, intentional pressure to move water and fluids, and instead of adjusting, he kept interrupting me with "I know, I know, I know." If you know, then do it. He didn't. I ended the session early because it was clear he did not understand the technique. I also had to ask him three times to leave the room so I could get dressed, and even then, an older man walked in on me while I was changing. Completely unacceptable. I tried explaining the issue at the front desk, but the woman didn't seem to understand the difference between a regular massage and lymphatic drainage either. I still paid, but I will not be returning. Based on my experience, I would not be surprised if the staff here are not properly trained or licensed. They do not listen, they do not comprehend, and they do not provide the service advertised.

I showed up, waited 20 minutes past appointment time, called and texted her. She was a no show. Never cancelled with me. She calls me back and tells me she assumed I had cancelled my groupon when she informed me my second and third session "may be male" provider. I told her I never cancelled the session and she never asked a question. She apologized and rescheduled with me for the following day. The same evening she cancels that session and asks me to get a refund from groupon. I told her if she refuses to honor her own groupon (as unethical as it is) she should be obtaining my refund for me. She promised to call groupon to have them remove her ad for the voucher she refuses to honor and get my refund. The next day she informs me that groupon requires me to request my own refund. Her ad is still on groupon. I had to contact Groupon three times, took several hours of my time to document all of the text message evidence, chat and email with groupon to finally get a refund, but with hard proof Mia won't provide this service Groupon won't pull the voucher. Bottom line: Mia lacks integrity in not honoring her own vouchers, attempts to convert you to a different voucher, attempts to change terms of voucher she sold to pass you off to an unlicensed provider, fails to show up at her own appointments, and makes excuses even for allowing her voice mail to fill up ("most people don't leave messages"). Massages and reflexology are supposed to be relaxing and fun, not stressful and frustrating. The refund I fought very hard for and obtained can never reimburse for the value of my time and energy. Do not be fooled by a discount with Mia, while she might possibly do a good job if she chooses to show up, I can tell you from personal experience I've never experienced a reflexology or massage provider so incredibly shady in my life. I hope that Groupon terminates her and I hope that she gets out of this business, and whatever she is doing with her unlicensed "male provider" seems shady. If you want an awesome, ethical massage provider nearby look no further than Now and Zen Bodyworks, Brenda is outstanding and also intro offers on groupon (I have no affiliation other than redeeming voucher with her). She is everything that Mia is not. I have evidence for everything I've stated should Yelp wish to validate. Mia is not a reputable businesswoman and does not deserve your time or money, in fact her license should be revoked, I'm filing a complaint with the state for ethics violations.
