From there, I was able to simply sign up via the add. Later, I was conveniently contacted by an automated text system that kindly reminded me of my reservations. Day of, I made it right before the start of class so, I unfortunately missed the tour of the studio. I quickly signed my waivers and jumped in right at the nick of time! The studio was small but very neat. First Impressions: A neatly arranged front entryway with branded gear and waters for sale, along with the front desk to your left. Behind the wall was their only studio. It's a pretty good size for such small parameters at the Vinings Jubilee. I'm unsure If I was the only newcomer, but everyone seemed a bit more familiar with the routine. The instructor positions herself at the front of the room facing the mirrors. Everyone else is evenly spaced at their own spot at a bar along the 4 walls, and I was in the middle at a stand alone bar. The class was moderately tough. Some parts were a bit more challenging than others, but all of that depends on your skill level. I truly believe any level individual could come and take this class and walk away with a good burn. Some areas of criticism: - I was never introduced to the instructor or welcomed to the class, but this could of been due to me being right on time. It would have been nice to have felt noticed and welcomed. - The instructor could have been more attentive during the workout in order to help make adjustment to posture/ positioning during the routine. There was a few times I felt unsure of I was doing, or if I was even doing the correct movement! As I would look around, I noticed everyone was doing some variation of what she was doing. I would prefer more instruction. While working hard time seems to move so slow! The class included the use of a small ball, 2 hand weights ( which you can change out according to your strength level), and a loop resistance band. We did some pretty cool exercises! Definitely creative stuff Post class, the receptionist and the instructor spoke with me shortly about the different classes they offer and some membership options. Although I opted not to sign up, I did get in a good workout.

Every instructor is kind, approachable and super helpful. I am so thankful I have finally found a workout that I love and an environment that keeps me coming back for more. I have been an athlete my whole life and my body at 33 has never looked better than it does now. I love that I can get in and out in an hour and be done for the day. No intimidating gym equipment necessary. I cannot say enough good things about Pure Barre and the Vinings location specifically. They directed me to their website to cancel, which I did. I didn't think much of it until I received an email in August telling me that I would be eligible for cancellation in September, which was not true. It wasn't long before I discovered I was locked into a "subscription trap." They kept withdrawing money from my account for three months, totaling $450.00! This made me really frustrated and upset. I ended up having to reach out to my bank and cancel my card. I thought X3 Sports would be more helpful and clear about cancellations. I warn others to be careful if they think about joining X3 Sports because getting out of this "subscription trap" is very difficult.

These classes are worth more credits than most studios I'm going to regularly (If you know the ClassPass credit system then you understand) but I just live by the "treat yourself" motto sometimes and book a Vesta class :) First impression was that the facility is spacious, clean and modern. Those are important factors of a studio I think that help people feel comfortable and wanting to come back. Also the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! They help you check in, know where to put your stuff, and even how to wrap your hands. So far I've tried the HIIT classes and Kickboxing classes and they're both moderately intense. You're able to do the exercises at your own pace which is nice but you're also more likely to cheat yourself out of getting a good challenging workout. If you're the type of person that doesn't need anyone pushing you and can zone in on your workout then you'll be just fine. One thing that I think is missing from the kickboxing classes is a more thorough breakdown of the moves. Luckily I had some previous kickboxing experience from a few years ago so I was able to jump in relatively quickly. Say though this is your first time attempting kickboxing and you don't know proper technique or what each kick and punch is called. I think instructors need to do a better job in explaining each move and just assume someone in the room is brand spanking new to this. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the workouts , the people and oh THE MUSIC! Love the music choice. I'll keep coming back!

However, if you are a newbie or getting back into the swing things (like myself) this may not be for you. I noticed that the class moves pretty fast and it's not a clear breakdown of moves, proper form, or how VESTA does their countdown rundowns. VESTA also lacks a sense of community I've seen in other kickboxing locations. Overall if you push yourself for a good workout you will get one, but having proper form and a clear foundation of what moves you're doing is key.
