Since I was already in the area for a nail appointment, I decided to look up the closest studio nearby, and that happened to be the Memorial location. Naturally, my first question was, "What's the parking situation?" Let's be honest--parking in Atlanta can make or break the experience. Thankfully, this location checked that box with ease. The studio is located in the shopping center with Publix and AMC, and there's a free parking garage available. The studio itself is directly across from the garage entrance, so it's only about a two- to three-minute walk depending on where you park. You'll head into the building and take either the elevator or the stairs up to the studio. Overall, it was very easy to find and super convenient. I took a Vinyasa Yin class with Megan, and she was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with such warmth and genuine kindness. Before class even started, she took the time to ask how my day was, and I immediately felt welcomed. Those little interactions really do make a difference, especially when you're visiting a location for the first time. Her energy throughout the class was just as amazing. She created such a calming, positive environment while still keeping everyone engaged. I found myself thinking halfway through class that I'd absolutely make the drive back just to take another class with her. Although the Memorial location isn't the closest studio to me, I wouldn't hesitate to return if I'm in the area again. Between the convenient parking, welcoming atmosphere, and Megan's incredible instruction, this was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

In Atlanta parking can prove to be difficult or very costly garages, but this location is in the Madison Yards complex and offers ample parking. There's a free parking garage directly across from the entry right next to the AMC. And if you'd like afterwards its not too far of a walk from the beltline and some brunch options. In regards to the space itself, it is very clean and offers lots of natural sunlight. The studio is spacious enough but can get pretty packed during their busy times. If you are new to Highland yoga they do have great newcomer specials to give it a try. This studio is also on Classpass which also seems to be a great value if you're interested in trying different classes and locations.

I love the owners,…read moreMatt and Nick, and I appreciate that they brought their approach to yoga to Atlanta (they also have a studio in Athens.) I have my favorite teachers and work to attend their classes as much as I can. For me, the membership plan is worth it if you can attend at least 6 classes a month. (Some people come every day! Multiple times a day!) I mostly attend Hatha classes but I also enjoy Flow and Super Stretch. The stretch, yin and restorative classes are the most beginner friendly. I've only attended a few warm/hot classes and they are not my jam. However, they are very popular with others! M3 is LGBTQIA friendly and has a policy against racism posted on their website. I haven't seen any other studio display such a message. As a Black woman, I notice when I'm the only Black person in the room, and I appreciate when someone else who looks like me is present and welcome in the space. (I don't want to be the only one y'all!) They have an app to use for scheduling and a very active IG page. They also have contests to encourage class attendance and give good prizes! I won a gift card to a local store and felt so special. The only thing I don't like is the class schedule changing every season. Some classes don't change but I've had to drop some classes because they are on a new day or at a different time. I can't believe that I'm the first person to review M3. It's a great addition to Atlanta yoga and I hope more people sing their praises.

It is a restorative yoga class so we held positions as the instructor stated messages that allowed us to release and detach from anything that we might have been holding in. Hopefully, I can find a similar experience in New York. I was a beginner and was met with kindness which made me feel at ease since I never practiced yoga before. Definitely check this class out!

Never judge a gym by its equipment…read more First of all, I didn't even read the directions. I showed up in fish flip-flops with socks because I thought I signed up for Pilates. Turns out we were doing a full-body workout, and I definitely should have worn sneakers. That's on me. Then I walked in and they were fumbling with the TV. I immediately thought, "Lord, what did I sign myself up for? Are we about to watch a trainer on a screen and work out?" Little did I know, the trainer was standing right there. She was incredibly nice, welcoming, and helpful. Don't let that fool you, though. She worked us HARD. She was like a wolf in sheep's clothing--in reverse. Sweet as could be, but she had us working like dogs. I had so much fun. They incorporated equipment I had never used before, including resistance bands and other training tools that challenged me in a good way. I booked through ClassPass, and when I finished the class, I immediately wanted to take pictures and leave a review. That's rare for me. Usually businesses ask for a review. This time, I wanted to leave one on my own. The studio is well organized and clean. The dumbbells and BOSU balls are neatly displayed on the walls. In the back, they have steps, kettlebells, and additional equipment. The bathroom was nice and clean. Across the hall, they have another room with Pilates mats, blocks, and equipment. The space almost feels like a refurbished ballet studio with ballet barres along the walls. Parking was easy, the workout was excellent, and the trainer was fantastic. Overall: 10/10. I will definitely be back.

The site shown # weeks at a special introductory price, whilst attempting to book the only option was for two weeks at said rate. I took a screenshot of the website (as advertised for 3 weeks) and messaged the studio.... someone then explained ton me that it SHOULD be for 2 weeks (which i understand). Here is where the problem comes in, 1) That is the studio's mistake, not mine. Thus they should honor the price that they had advertised on their website. 2) They did not. This was incredibly off putting to me and not indicative of the type of character that I would look for in a place of practice or anywhere that I would be spending money. Overall I just felt like that was a dishonorable way to handle a customer that was looking to become a new member. Even though its farther away from me than the bigger, more popular and established studios in my neighborhood, I wanted to support this studio. It appeared to be small and a more intimate vibe, however, once met with this unprofessionalism I quickly signed on for a much more expensive, yet conveniently located Bodyrok. Super professional and by the book, i'll pay more for that any day.

This was my first time trying Pilates and what a workout it was! I have sore muscles in places I didn't even know I had muscles! I really enjoyed the movements and the pace of the class. I really appreciated this being a total newbie! At the beginning of class she gave a quick overview of the reformer so you knew how to make adjustments and how to properly utilize cables. She also would give modifications for certain exercises incase someone needed them. Like most things in Atlanta parking can be a bit tricky ... but they send a welcome email to give you a heads up. Just show up a little early to ensure you find a spot and are on time to class. I was absolutely impressed with this quaint yet complete fitness center for the following reasons: 1. The coaching & daily workout-of-the-day programming is excellent. Coach Joe made me feel very welcome and treated me like a friend from day one. 2. The equipment is very clean and seems brand-new. 3. So many amenities -- I enjoyed having use of the shower facility along with toiletries and towels. 4. The owner (Nancy) is very active in the business, and goes out of her way to connect with clients. During one visit, I had forgotten my jump ropes at the gym. Nancy bundled them up, and dropped them off at my hotel for me. 5. I'll mention the equipment again -- just about everything you'd ever want or need in a facility, and it was in very good and clean condition. 6. The hours of availability were very nice... morning and evening classes, and open gym ALL DAY LONG. 7. Special classes and open gym are offered on weekends, along with in-house nutrition/wellness challenges. I highly recommend Quadrant Fitness, and will visit again when I return to Atlanta.
