decided to get my septum pierced, and received numerous tips to go here, and i was not disappointed!! starting with the reception, the receptionist (who's name escapes me) was such a sweetheart and was so friendly and welcoming. come maybe 15-20 minutes before your appointment, there is some paperwork to fill out. my piercer, ursula, was very professional and explained everything she was doing, i felt really comfortable and it eased my nerves. the piercing itself was super quick and as painless as piercings can be! it looks awesome, and the placement was perfect. overall, a great experience, and i will certainly be returning in the future! read more

I regret coming here. I came for a daith & helix and it got messed up 3x. Let me explain. Got overcharged for jewelry I didn't buy and I had to go back for a refund & they're hella overpriced. Shannon did the helix & daith & it was so bad my ear hurt & swelled up and Judy had to take them out & redo them & taking them out hurt like bloody murder. She said she must've been having a "bad day" to miss BOTH so bad. How bad? I was having headaches & pain nonstop on top of the swelling & bleeding in just ONE WEEK (& I never swell or bleed from my 9 previous piercings). The daith prevented my ear from being touched at all even from the back and swelled up & stuck out. An X-Ray & MRI showed my ancient helix next to the new one and the old one was perfectly straight & perpendicular to my ear but the new one was so crooked it made a "Z" between top & bottom helix & I couldn't heal from it. From the front, the top 2 were close together but super spaced from the bottom & the back was completely the opposite. Judy redid the daith after letting it heal for a month & it was perfect. She redid helix after giving it a month to heal & it was crooked again. Same angle but not as bad. She said "it's just your ear". Excuse me?? A skilled professional should be able to compensate & my other 2 helix piercings were perfectly straight except for THAT one. They hit the dot they marked but the angle made the front & back look completely the opposite from each other. I'm not paying for another MRI & X-Ray to prove the redo was crooked again. I already saw it from the 1st one & my drs said it was messed up even though that wasn't the point of getting those tests done. I met with the piercing manager Samantha & she said it "didn't matter where it comes out the back as long as the front mark was hit". HUGE red flag That's the reason the helix Shannon did was fucked up & I couldn't heal from it (& I'm a fast healer) & it hurt like death to get it taken out. The angle is critical for a perpendicular hit & swift healing. She also said "I know I can't please you" because she swears the piercing Judy did was straight but off by a millimeter & also blaming my ear & said she's been "doing this for 13yrs" like it's the end all be all. Girl. Just because you've been doing it for some time doesn't mean you're any good. That goes for any profession. And if any other job was "having a bad day" and missed 2 of 2, I'd say they can't do their job. She was hella rude about it with a high & mighty attitude too. No apologies or refunds, just them blaming the client & excuses they're having a bad day. And she acted like she was doing me a favor not charging me for having the piercings removed when it was her people who messed up. THE ATTITUDE OMG. Sam & Shannon have the same nasty attitude. Judy was the only nice one. No one deserves to be treated like that especially a paying customer. I had to go to Urgent Care to get this treated, go on antibiotics, & go to my PCP. Too many drs visits. This place is a nightmare. Avoid it. Literally a rip off. They've ripped off & overcharged other people (I was told so in the shop) & go read the other reviews. Go ANYWHERE ELSE. You have many choices. Save yourself the time, money, aggravation, & physical injuries & pain & then getting blamed for it while getting excuses. A piercing from a piercing gun at the mall is perfectly straight (with X-rays as proof) & no excuses. Me, my brother, & his twins have never had problems even after many years & decades with our piercings and it costs a fraction of the price. Again, go anywhere else but here. Paying more (A LOT MORE) doesn't equate to better service. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They just now took advantage of an 18 yr old girl. All she wanted was a piece to go to her nose ring, and charged her $40...$20 for the piece, and an extra $20 to put it in. Then they charged her even more bc they THOUGHT they knew what they were doing, but they didn't. They should've known that they sold her the wrong piece....and then had her buy a whole new ring of theirs. So, $20 turned into $55....SUPER F*****G rip off. I ended up going inside after learning about all that happened, and when I helped pay, the guy seemed like he had an issue and knew the change was going to me, but handed it to the chick to give to me. Then they said they don't give receipts for cash payments, and sent her a receipt via phone for $22. I recorded the conversation stating that the total was $55. We're due money back. Great Tattoo Shop! I have 2 pieces done from here. My mom does as well & my brother has one. Everyone is super nice, friendly, easy going & helpful. I called to make a reservation & was quickly assisted. Upon entering, due to Covid we got our temperature checked, filled out the normal tattoo paperwork along with a Covid sheet. Big round of applause and big time hootin' and hollerin' for Jessi Hawk at Body Graphics in Pennsauken. Jessi did my second tattoo, back in 2019, and when I decided in 2023 that it was time for more, Jessi was my first choice. Over the past few months, we've had several sessions in which she has been working on a full arm sleeve plus smaller pieces on my legs. Jessi is masterful at her craft. If I ask her to do something exactly as is, she replicates the reference picture perfectly. If I ask her for ideas about how to make something extra special, or to "art the hell out of it" because she's such a talented artist, she delivers something super cool and memorable. Kind and thoughtful throughout the process, fun to chat with if I'm chatty, and an all around good egg, Jessi has made every session a really treat. My wife remarked that if I keep up this pace, I'm going to run out of skin. Since I can't get more skin, I suppose that's the downside to working with such a talented artist and special person. It took me 35 years to get my first Tattoo but I finally went in and had the pleasure to work with Jessi Hawk. The shop itself is fine but they don't care about their customers. My daughter and I were there to get her ear pierced and on my way out I fell having tripped over broken, patched concrete on their sidewalk. One of my recent piercings came out and I was unable to get it back in. I went to this place and asked them if they could put my piercing back so the hole would not close. I was willing to pay for the service, but they refused to help me because I did not buy the earrings there. Greedy place! People at my work were ok helping me, but not a "professional"? In a word ... AWESOME. I waited until my tattoo was fully healed before posting this review. First tattoo experience was a true success thanks to KimSu. He was very nice & helpful when I emailed him saying that I wanted a tattoo [very last-minute] and I was going to be in the area over the weekend. He accommodated me into his schedule and was really confident to reassure me that he has light hands and would take good care of me when I asked him whether or not I should bring some sort of numbing agent b/c I was anxious about the pain [ yeahh, I'm a pansy like that ]. He also thoroughly walked me through the care process post-tattoo. I'm still frequently getting compliments from random strangers saying that they like my tattoo & asking who my tattoo artist is. KimSu is the man you want to see :). PS: KimSu is only there 3 days out of the week (Saturday & Sunday are definites, I don't remember the last day). I've had two good experiences at this shop so far. I got a small 3in customized wrist tattoo back in 2017 with Thomas. I scheduled a consult with him to look at my sketch, and get his take on it along with an estimated cost. He quoted me $120 for it being personalized and really worked with me to get my vision across. He even offered me to get it done the same day since he had some time at the moment. I was just expecting the consult and then scheduling an appointment for another day, but I ended up getting tattooed that day. It was great and didn't hurt at all. I came back yesterday because I wanted to get my helix pierced. I called Friday to schedule an appt with Haley for Saturday since I know the weekends get busy. When I called they told me I can just do a walk in and first come, first serve. I came in around 1pm Saturday and there was only 1 person ahead of me so it didn't take long. It was $35 for a single helix piercing and the jewelry I chose was $32. Haley was awesome! She's super personable and really explained everything thoroughly for me, step by step, so I knew exactly what was happening. I would totally come back with Haley for another pricing. read more

I've been getting pierced and tattooed here for over 20 years. I've had many different piercers, and have slowed down on that end, but if I need jewelry or something fixed I always come here first. I completely trust them to stick needles through me. My tattoo artist Kim Su is completely amazing I'm 60% covered and he has done everything on me. We've had many long projects with a full backpiece for the past four years that is almost complete. He's done my arms, legs, feet, and chest. He has a light touch and makes you feel comfortable and welcome. I call him my tattoo therapist. Yeah they're a little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, top notch quality. I have had such a good experience with this shop. Looking to get my nipples pierced, I'd called 5+ shops to compare prices, the wonderful woman who answers the phone and works up front in this shop was the sweetest and so informative. The first time I went in two nights ago, Pixie consulted me for my piercings but I backed out that night and felt horrible but they were all so sweet. Came back yesterday with a friend and we both got pierced by Haley, who was extremely knowledgeable and so kind! I took a day trip to Philly/NJ just to see her. I've heard so many great things from my hairstylist, and she ranted and raved about how half her body was covered by Jackie Brown's tattoo art. I was at a loft party last week, and I was introduced to someone who had also had half their body covered by Jackie Brown's tattoo art skill. How random right? She's dominating the North East! I went here with a few friends to get piercings. I got 2 helix piercings and my total was $150 (this does not include tip, and I paid in cash so it does not include tax if you pay with a card. I consider this incredibly expensive and probably double what an average piercing place would charge. The guy at the front desk refused to tell us any prices until we signed all the documents and were taken to the back, and then proceeded to google and make up prices. We weren't even given a receipt. He also accused my friend of taking her money back after she paid when he was the one that lost it. I should have walked out, but I figured okay fine, Ill be getting a quality piercing with quality jewelry. This was not the case. 2 days later I was cleaning my piercing with a Q tip (it did not get caught on anything, and I was being careful to not sleep on that side) and one of the earrings popped out. I was immediately annoyed because of how much I paid, but I found the earring and figured I'd just pop it back in. To my surprise the earring was completely broken and would not snap back into place no matter how hard I tried. I called the shop and was told I could come in the NEXT day because they were "too busy". I could not go in the next day due to it being a Monday and I also did not want the hole to close from waiting. I explained this and was met with immediate attitude: "Well I don't know what you want from me". I was incredibly upset at this point and just hung up. For the prices this place charges, they need to get quality jewelry and better costumer service. Save your time and money and don't go here. read more

I have been getting tattooed since the early 90s and only when I came across Tegan Beyer did I encounter a bad experience. Tegan Beyer, booked an appointment with me, then cancelled on me at the very LAST minute, even though she knew that I was coming from 150 miles away by car. (at the time I lived further away from her shop than I do now) I had asked for the day off from my job so that I could travel the distance be tattooed by Tegan, only to have her cancel on me. To top it off, she cancelled my appointment via E mail. She didn't even bother to pick up the phone to let me know that she was canceling my tattoo appointment at the last minute. If I hadn't decided to check my e mail at the last minute before heading out, I would have driven 300 HUNDRED miles in one day, for nothing. So much for getting a pug dog tattoo that I had wanted for many years. I ended up going to Ainslie Heilich in Tuscola, Illinois for the pug dog tattoo, and of course, I went back to Erika Stanley in Los Angeles, CA for another piece. Additionally, this was not the first time that she cancelled. I initially had an appointment with her the month before, but she contacted me via e mail to tell me that she had to (the day before my appointment) reschedule. I gave her the benefit of the doubt. So she caused me to lose TWO of my vacation days from work. Tegan was incredibly unprofessional to me, even though I had been the one to introduce her to Erika Stanley of Art & Soul tattoo company in Los Angeles, CA, and Tegan knows that I am a long-time friend and client of Erika Stanley, she still treated me this way. Just awful.
