There is only one, downstairs, and the exercise bicycle upstairs isn't the same type and it's not comfortable for me. The one downstairs has been broken for 3 weeks. I have brought it to the attention of 3 staff members who have heard it and said it will be taken care of. The front wheel makes a terrible clanging sound that is as disturbing to the people around me as it is to me. Please fix the machine promptly and seriously consider getting getting an additional one upstairs. For a fitness center of this size one more is the bare minimum. My eldest daughter and I got in a fatal car accident last year. we both required surgery and as we recovered being able to return to moving our bodies we upgraded our plan so that we can bring a guest; recover, get stronger together. One evening we got stopped and blonde lady working at the front desk asked for her ID that she did not have on her so she said my daughter could not work out because she is underage (under 18) and to add her to our plan it would be an additional $40 per month! on top of the $80 we pay. Just imagine being told you can bring an extra person for an additional $10/month. Have been paying & bringing your child for months and then boom suddenly you can't. This is the second or third time I've had an issue here at Vallejo in Shape. I have 4 kids & carving out the time & coverage to consistently come to the gym- trying to keep my health first. I would like to just pay the fee & show up. The primary reason for me to add a guest to our plan is for safety especially at night or 5am when its dark and there is no sun out. I mean a 16 year old can work and drive but not work out for the same amount of a guest 18 or over? This just put a wrench in our lifestyle, health & safety. Truly disappointing. No longer highly motivated or excited to come to this gym anymore.

The first thing they do is quickly find out your fitness level and dial in on what you most need to work on. They push hard, but know your limits. My husband and I do couples training. We can work out together, but we get individual attention. We do a variety of work from core, to weight training, speed-agility training, to varied work like boxing (my favorite). They keep the work outs fresh and exciting.

Today I was planning to go to my Planet Fitness on Sonoma Blvd and when I went to check the hours I…read morenoticed that there was a Planet Fitness at the Springs Town shopping center. Curious as I was I decided to check it out and sure enough the Planet Fitness is at the old 99 cent store location. Everything at this gym is brand new new. All the equipment are new, flooring and restrooms all brand new new. I spoke to the lady up front and she said they just opened up two weeks ago. On a Sunday it's not bad over here was not too crowded. They have pretty much everything they do at the Sonoma location but I feel like this location is just a bit smaller. The one thing I noticed that they have got the Springs Town location that they don't have on Sonoma is the the CryoLounge. This is a machine that can both freeze off one part of your body, while heat up another part which is great for targeting certain muscle pains. Trust me, this machine can get really cold! Overall it was a nice experience checking out this new location. Hopefully it will thin out the crowd at the Sonoma location a bit because that location be packed sometimes M-F especially after everyone gets off work.

I highly recommend the Muay Thai class for adults and for kids! I loved that Denise, AJ, and Cheryl really kick your butt to house/Vegas/EDM style music. I also love the boxing class. The place itself does not look fancy but it is what it is = a kick ass place to get your cardio in along with fighting classes for all ages. I think its great they also hold occasional challenges (most fat loss/most weight loss) and have prizes such as free membership for a period of time, etc. I find it very hard to believe that this gym or any other would charge you for 4 months after the fact-- I canceled mine when I moved and did not experience such an issue. I did however buy the 10-pass class for when I do visit my family on the weekends and can get a cardio workout in. I say try it for yourself. There are all kinds/sorts of people here: thick, thin, young, older, beginners, novice, expert. You'll fit in no matter what shape you are in.
