I highly recommend the Muay Thai class for adults and for kids! It's a great workout (Warning: You will sweat a river =P) plus if you're into the fight game, this is the perfect class to get you started. Coach Dino is awesome and he'll keep you on balls of your feet! Literally! =) Also check out the Taebo and Boxing classes as well. I believe they offer Zumba too. You'll love it!

I loved that Denise, AJ, and Cheryl really kick your butt to house/Vegas/EDM style music. I also love the boxing class. The place itself does not look fancy but it is what it is = a kick ass place to get your cardio in along with fighting classes for all ages. I think its great they also hold occasional challenges (most fat loss/most weight loss) and have prizes such as free membership for a period of time, etc. I find it very hard to believe that this gym or any other would charge you for 4 months after the fact-- I canceled mine when I moved and did not experience such an issue. I did however buy the 10-pass class for when I do visit my family on the weekends and can get a cardio workout in. I say try it for yourself. There are all kinds/sorts of people here: thick, thin, young, older, beginners, novice, expert. You'll fit in no matter what shape you are in.

You're greeted right away and honestly, that's so important when you take fitness classes in my opinion. It definitely made me feel welcome and comfortable. The cycle (or spinning?) class was taught by Candice (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) and her playlist was *insert fire emoji here*! It was such a good mix of different genres that's great for everyone taking a class. The movements were challenging but doable! And it makes it a little easy when you're going with the music. The room was dark but it had some kind of colorful lights. I'm blanking out with how to call them but it definitely made the atmosphere feel more inviting and peaceful... if that makes sense lol I know they offer other fitness classes so definitely check them out!

Perfect for those who don't prefer large, busy gyms with lots of people and noise. Family owned, clean, state of the art equipment, intimate but spacious with all the equipment you would need for a solo or small group session. As a millennial office worker looking to improve my strength and overall functional movement , I booked three 1-1 coaching sessions with Jeff (60 min each) for a personal fitness assessment and to create a tailored program that aligned with my personal goals (i.e., improve tight hip flexors and shoulders from sitting all day, strengthen knees, easily lift and carry above 40# for extended time (aka little kiddos lol). Through Jeff my trainer, I feel empowered and to take care of my body thru intentional workouts after learning SO much about total body mechanics, proper form & rep count, and effective resistance training. What sets Pike Fitness apart is their incredibly caring, professional, and knowledgeable ethos for helping others build and maintain strength at ALL life stages. So come as you are, Pike Fitness is a solid investment for your fitness journey, wherever you are. Thanks Jeff. Pike Fitness is a gem for Vallejo!

Pike Fitness had a pop-up at Vallejo 2nd Saturdays and I was working the booth right behind them…read more They had a jumping contest with a vertical jump trainer. I signed a waiver, which felt weird for something like that. Now I know why. Their shoddy equipment was set up in a low spot in the grass and was so unstable they had a staff member sit on it to keep it from tipping. There was also a bolt sticking out of the front. See attached photo for what a real vertical jump tester looks like (notice no bolt sticking out). When I jumped, I stepped forward slightly (not a run, there was barely room to move), and when I landed, that bolt sliced my pants and left an 8-inch cut up my thigh. I sat down at my booth, clearly injured. Two strangers came to check on me. Pike Fitness staff? Nothing. They saw me sit down, saw I was hurt, and completely ignored it. Later, I passed by their booth and mentioned I'd been cut. They acted like it was no big deal. Now they're responding saying I "ran and launched" myself and refused their help. Total lie. I stepped, I jumped, I got hurt, and they didn't care. They can try to blame me all they want, but their setup was dangerous and their staff was careless. A waiver doesn't excuse negligence. If this is how they operate in public, I wouldn't trust them inside a gym either. Avoid Pike Fitness.

However, I did not join this facility. Class: The instructor was motivating and the cardio sculpt class really made me feel the burn. I came on a Wednesday night (the last class) it was fairly empty - I think everyone comes for the kickboxing since I came early to sign up (no one was at the front desk so I just awkwardly watched for 15 minutes). Some thoughts I had: It's not your average gym, there are weights and equipment in the back but I'm not sure if it's open to everyone of just those taking private lessons. The main area is a large open cardio floor great for group workouts which is what it is. Most people workout barefoot or with indoor/solely for the gym kind of shoes only. Not sure if I am a personal fan because it seems unclean/dangerous if a weight is dropped on the foot. As a transformation gym, I was interested in kickstarting my health and getting toned.- possibly even their bikini comp programs - I thoroughly checked the website and was interested in their nutrition program especially as well. I stayed after the class and had the opportunity to meet Mark. Nice guy but when I asked him about the programs and he just kept telling me to look on the website which didn't provide much information about their nutrition format or how the body tracking/goal setting works. I really wanted to love this place and was ready to sign up right then and there but didn't feel like I would get the support I was looking for just based on my first interaction. I signed up with Orange Theory instead.

Long story short, if…read moreyou go to the ER while you are here or shortly after, you have to immediately return with a copy of a doctor's note or email it. You need to do this asap and specify freezes on all services. If you have Kids Klub, END IT. I went to Vivian who was there the last time I had an ER visit a couple years ago: this past December, I was injured again suddenly on site during a training appointment (due to my body/health situation, not my trainer or an exercise injury) and I let her know I was getting a ride to the ER this time instead of an ambulance, since it was a was a touch less urgent. She was responsive this day and seemed to enter the freezes correctly. I dropped off the first note 2 days later to support a freeze for a couple months since a major surgery would get scheduled. I was told I had an 8" growth and cancer in my blood and had to wait the entire winter holidays for further info until doctors were back in the hospital. A few weeks later the billing began... I called Vivian and mentioned my bank was informed of my condition and knew to not pay the bills until a certain date. She laughed and said I'd be billed later anyways. I felt like "I have cancer again, I could die this time with this huge growth. She's laughing at me." I know it was not personal, but forgive me, I'll never forget the feeling of thinking I might die and getting this is the response while asking for help. My health is poor after surviving breast cancer treatments in 2020 and they wrecked parts of my body but eradicated an aggressive form of breast cancer. I don't want to go into how bad the type is, but the odds are very bad with that type and they use the highest doses of their most aggressive chemo to eradicate the cancer. That's why I struggle and have gone to the ER twice in a couple years. But working out improves my condition, so it's essential. I'm so glad I found out a few days later that the current ER test was a misdiagnosis. I eventually received a big surgery, recovered and called in to sort out the bills that were waiting for me. Because I was experienced in navigating the disorganized billing practices, it was a smaller bill this time. I reached a teleservice rep who had her manager Mark look into it and it was fixed after 3 phone calls for a full refund. I know it's not personal. But I've decided that clearly this is not customer service at all. This is just workers, protecting themselves and the company and you just have to advocate super quick, do the footwork and calls and take notes, document, stay on it, trust nothing, stay positive and confirm and be persistent. Most businesses exhibit hospitality and customer service at an average level. Often if a medical incident occurs you'll get a compassionate response and excellent customer care. Not here, you will get compassion at first and solutions that fall through. Then they will lose confidence and be strained but still attempt to help. Eventually, it requires an escalation and manager intervention to correct the situation. The in-gym customer service experience will be good about situational things like everyday interactions. But if your issue has ANYTHING to do with billing, there is no safety net no matter how serious your medical situation. Had I only had a normal membership instead of a training membership too, I probably could have just canceled or never been the wiser. I'm actually hopeful no one ever has to experience this zone that they are weak at. But if you do, stay flexible, positive, and stay on it. Good luck and good health! I saw billing fees,

I said well I just asked to speak to one because I figured I would have to go through them to get some insight on how i should move forward about the potential membership there. Then she proceeds to say yeah that's not how that works and I'm only allowed to talk to a manager if she can't help me with the voice of arrogance that was just beyond me. At this point I'm wondering what's with the attitude and arrogance. Then she also proceeds to say I'm the only one there anyway. Maybe she thought i was calling with a complaint, idk. However that attitude should've been checked at the door before she got to work.
