I signed up (prepaid the full $2k plus) for personal training from April and paid extra on top for her to come to my house. Shortly after I started the training (only did 2 sessions with her) I found out I was pregnant. Doctors did not want to me continue with the work out regiment until I delivered. I let April aware of the situation and told her I had to pause my training. Fast forward after I delivered my daughter and was cleared to work out, I texted April and to my surprise she said that "oh you never contacted me and you had to complete your sessions within 6 months". Ummmm I texted her and told her that because of doctors orders I was not going to be able to work out. She told me that she was going to call me and basically texted and ended with the same position that my sessions timed out and that was the last I heard from her. I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND the contract but I would think it's good business practice to either extend me my money back (some if not all) or Complete my sessions (I would have been ok if she gave me some if not all of my remaining), but I was under doctors orders which I let her know. SOMETHING to make me whole would have been the honorable thing to do. This is HORRIBLE business practice. I would ONLY recommend going to her if you want to work with someone that is money driven and doesn't care about her reputation of being a good business/ethical business. How I see it is she had no hesitation signing the contract & taking my money but when it came to a technicality and doing the right thing to do to make me whole she completely ghosted me. read more

I had a horrible experience with April-first of all she spent 30 minutes of my first session dealing with payment issues because she only accepts cash, PayPal and venmo and so the focus of my time was cut short and she never performed the abdominal massage described in the website nor did she call me back when I contacted her twice before booking -se is in this business for herself and not to help people because she never even showed me how to insert the equipment and make sure it was working and then had the audacity to ask me to pay $10 more than was listed on her outdated website because she said oh that price isn't current-would have been nice to clarify that with a return call before I attended the first session-she also sent me an email with instructions before the first session which I painstakingly followed and then when I arrived distressed she said oh that wasn't important for me to actually follow and I didn't actually need to do that -again get really clear with her before you book anything because like Suki's comment April won't take accountability and just wants payment-good riddance! read more
