I was not the type of person who liked to workout. I paid for gym memberships and would never show up. A lot of it was because I felt like I didn't know what to do in the gym. Coach Clark shows you what to do to get the results you want and how to do it correctly so you don't hurt yourself. I used to be afraid of circuit training because I felt like I had to keep up with everyone around me but at Fit4Yu it's what ever works for YOU. Coach Clark modifies the exercises if needed and it still gives you the impact needed to get the results you want. I'm motivated to come in 3 times a week to workout and it helps when you have someone that knows how to get you to where you want to be. I saw results one month in and that's because when you put in the work and you have the support from a knowledgeable and certified trainer, it's going to put you together.

I've been with coach Clark for 6rys now and absolutely the best workout experience period. He's motivated me to get in shape before and after me having a baby. Im back and better than ever. Clark really cares about the details of your form when exercise to the T and will not let you continue because he knows injuries can come quick. Coach also, will work with you until you master the exercise and your goals. Great environment, energy, and awesome music. He is cheering and helping you the whole way through. come get your money worths period.

Back rows, hammer curls, kettle bell lifts, oblique medicine ball, deadlines, and v-abs! So awesome I know I ripped some muscles today!!!

I Love Fit4You as a personal gym that I can go to and get the 1:1 attention to the different areas I am wanting to improve with my body. I have been challenged to be stronger in each session that I schedule with Coach Derrick. He certainly has a passion to expose you to a different routine to shock the body!!! Form is everything! Thank you Fit4You !!

You want results? Come to Fit4YU and let Coach Clark put you together !

Perfect for those who don't prefer large, busy gyms with lots of people and noise. Family owned, clean, state of the art equipment, intimate but spacious with all the equipment you would need for a solo or small group session. As a millennial office worker looking to improve my strength and overall functional movement , I booked three 1-1 coaching sessions with Jeff (60 min each) for a personal fitness assessment and to create a tailored program that aligned with my personal goals (i.e., improve tight hip flexors and shoulders from sitting all day, strengthen knees, easily lift and carry above 40# for extended time (aka little kiddos lol). Through Jeff my trainer, I feel empowered and to take care of my body thru intentional workouts after learning SO much about total body mechanics, proper form & rep count, and effective resistance training. What sets Pike Fitness apart is their incredibly caring, professional, and knowledgeable ethos for helping others build and maintain strength at ALL life stages. So come as you are, Pike Fitness is a solid investment for your fitness journey, wherever you are. Thanks Jeff. Pike Fitness is a gem for Vallejo!

I signed a waiver, which felt weird for something like that. Now I know why. Their shoddy equipment was set up in a low spot in the grass and was so unstable they had a staff member sit on it to keep it from tipping. There was also a bolt sticking out of the front. See attached photo for what a real vertical jump tester looks like (notice no bolt sticking out). When I jumped, I stepped forward slightly (not a run, there was barely room to move), and when I landed, that bolt sliced my pants and left an 8-inch cut up my thigh. I sat down at my booth, clearly injured. Two strangers came to check on me. Pike Fitness staff? Nothing. They saw me sit down, saw I was hurt, and completely ignored it. Later, I passed by their booth and mentioned I'd been cut. They acted like it was no big deal. Now they're responding saying I "ran and launched" myself and refused their help. Total lie. I stepped, I jumped, I got hurt, and they didn't care. They can try to blame me all they want, but their setup was dangerous and their staff was careless. A waiver doesn't excuse negligence. If this is how they operate in public, I wouldn't trust them inside a gym either. Avoid Pike Fitness.

City doesn't at all, In Shape does, Planet does if you have a Black Level membership). 4) they actually use the annual membership fee to make improvements to the club (City just pockets it to their bottom line. city hasn't bought any new equipment since they opened in 2020). 5) they have a turf area that anyone can use with plenty of an wheels, foam rollers and an adequate number of mats and kettle balls. Factors that stop me from giving them 5 stars... it's VERY busy during rush hour (Monday-Thursday). Weekends are reasonable. There's too many folks filming and trying to be fitness influencers. The Zumba class music is too loud and with the door open (just like City Sports), but to be fair, the manager has tried to fix this. If cardio equipment is important to you, City Sports & Planet have a lot more.

Let's start with the pros. PROS: super reasonable pricing, especially for everything you get. Friendly & helpful staff. Love that they have a turf area as well as a studio/ mirrored area for classes, and it's good extra floor space when classes aren't in session. Nice that they have a sauna, red light therapy, tanning booth, hydromassage, and IN Body scan available. Good range of equipment/ plate loaded machines, squat racks, cardio machines, TRX, you name it. CONS: Here's what's making me reconsider my membership... the bathroom cleanliness is pretty unbearable. It's always been pretty dirty but I've been able to suck it up and tolerate it. Within the past month, I've started to notice black mold in the showers (unmistakably- it's fuzzy and everything), moldy and smelly shower curtains, wads of hair that don't get moved for weeks (indicating they're clearly not cleaning), and yesterday there were little black bugs on the shower floors that sort of looked like small black silverfish? The mats outside of the showers finally got cleaned a couple months ago, but they're starting to get that soapy/ moldy build up again. The sauna floor is extremely dirty as well and I'm not sure how often they clean it... makes me worry what we're breathing in. They also don't have any recycling bins despite California law and all of the cans and plastic they accumulate. :( These concerns have been brought up internally numerous times by many members of the gym and nothing seems to be improving. I'm super bummed because I otherwise love the gym, but I just need to keep my health and safety in mind. I shower here every morning before work and I don't want to be breathing in black mold... Hope they do something soon- it's a serious health code violation at this point.

Hands down. I joined last year because even though 24 hour fitness was more affordable, the machines and building were just going down hill fast. The last straw was when I had a partially torn meniscus. I couldn't go up and down stairs but I still went to the gym for rehab and for upper body. Their elevator has been out of service for WEEKS. Essentially making it nearly impossible for me to workout if I needed to use the restroom or locker rooms at all. After this I looked through multiple gyms, pricing and their benefits and went with Anytime. I absolutely LOVE that I can go to any of the AF gyms. I've been to a few others and it's been great to hit the gym when I'm traveling or on vacation. Overall Pinole AF is clean, safe and I love that I never really have had to wait for a machine. Yes the gym is small, but it makes up for it by being one of the most hygienic places I've worked out in. Most of the time if someone is on a machine they never truly hog it and I'm able to get my workout done in the time I want. I'm grateful to have found AF Pinole!

One thing I really like is that this is the only gym I've been to where my car has never been vandalized. At other gyms in Vallejo I've had my windows smashed, but never here. I'm not sure if it's because of the location or because the security guards are always walking the parking lot, but it definitely gives me peace of mind. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, the gym is clean, and they've been doing a lot of renovations lately. The equipment is well maintained, and the machines are rarely out of order. My only complaint is that the main weight room is a little small and can get crowded during peak hours. Other than that, it's a great gym, and I'd definitely recommend it.

Then she proceeds to say yeah that's not how that works and I'm only allowed to talk to a manager if she can't help me with the voice of arrogance that was just beyond me. At this point I'm wondering what's with the attitude and arrogance. Then she also proceeds to say I'm the only one there anyway. I couldn't get a word in edgewise because she was so focused being the manager police. I'm also thinking like a 35,000 square foot gym has only one person there. At this point I was completely turned off and said i would I just call back. Top flight Alisa has me totally reconsidering getting membership here if that's the culture of this place. Maybe she thought i was calling with a complaint, idk. However that attitude should've been checked at the door before she got to work.

Long story short, if…read moreyou go to the ER while you are here or shortly after, you have to immediately return with a copy of a doctor's note or email it. You need to do this asap and specify freezes on all services. If you have Kids Klub, END IT. I went to Vivian who was there the last time I had an ER visit a couple years ago: this past December, I was injured again suddenly on site during a training appointment (due to my body/health situation, not my trainer or an exercise injury) and I let her know I was getting a ride to the ER this time instead of an ambulance, since it was a was a touch less urgent. She was responsive this day and seemed to enter the freezes correctly. I dropped off the first note 2 days later to support a freeze for a couple months since a major surgery would get scheduled. I was told I had an 8" growth and cancer in my blood and had to wait the entire winter holidays for further info until doctors were back in the hospital. A few weeks later the billing began... I called Vivian and mentioned my bank was informed of my condition and knew to not pay the bills until a certain date. She laughed and said I'd be billed later anyways. I felt like "I have cancer again, I could die this time with this huge growth. She's laughing at me." I know it was not personal, but forgive me, I'll never forget the feeling of thinking I might die and getting this is the response while asking for help. My health is poor after surviving breast cancer treatments in 2020 and they wrecked parts of my body but eradicated an aggressive form of breast cancer. I don't want to go into how bad the type is, but the odds are very bad with that type and they use the highest doses of their most aggressive chemo to eradicate the cancer. That's why I struggle and have gone to the ER twice in a couple years. But working out improves my condition, so it's essential. I'm so glad I found out a few days later that the current ER test was a misdiagnosis. I eventually received a big surgery, recovered and called in to sort out the bills that were waiting for me. Because I was experienced in navigating the disorganized billing practices, it was a smaller bill this time. I reached a teleservice rep who had her manager Mark look into it and it was fixed after 3 phone calls for a full refund. I know it's not personal. But I've decided that clearly this is not customer service at all. This is just workers, protecting themselves and the company and you just have to advocate super quick, do the footwork and calls and take notes, document, stay on it, trust nothing, stay positive and confirm and be persistent. Most businesses exhibit hospitality and customer service at an average level. Often if a medical incident occurs you'll get a compassionate response and excellent customer care. Not here, you will get compassion at first and solutions that fall through. Then they will lose confidence and be strained but still attempt to help. Eventually, it requires an escalation and manager intervention to correct the situation. The in-gym customer service experience will be good about situational things like everyday interactions. But if your issue has ANYTHING to do with billing, there is no safety net no matter how serious your medical situation. Had I only had a normal membership instead of a training membership too, I probably could have just canceled or never been the wiser. I'm actually hopeful no one ever has to experience this zone that they are weak at. But if you do, stay flexible, positive, and stay on it. Good luck and good health! I saw billing fees,
