One of the things I appreciate most is the availability of classes throughout the day--it makes it easy to stay consistent, no matter what your schedule looks like. The coaches bring great energy, and there's a strong sense of community that's motivating and supportive. It's clear that the program is designed to deliver results, and it does! That said, one thing I've found a bit tough is the rigidity of the structure. While I understand the value of group cohesion, there doesn't seem to be any flexibility for accommodations for individual needs during class. For instance, you are not permitted to do any exercise other than what the group is doing, even if you are listening to your body and trying to avoid burnout or injury. Or, I sometimes need to stretch and will do that while the instructor is explaining the next exercise but you are required to stand up and keep moving. I know when I need to push and when I need to adjust and a workout facility and trainers should not only understand that but should be there to provide other options as well!

So far, I enjoyed 4 workouts on my trial. I am very familiar with studio fitness. Things start…read moreon-time. Everything is well organized. Exercises are fully explained and coached during the session. People are very friendly. Leaders are very attentive for both safety and exercise effectiveness. It is a great work-out, with modifications for those growing their fitness. I enjoy the suspension floor. Each session is creative, balanced and well structured. Their intention is to create a community vibe. As members, we need to go with that flow to make it real. I like it. I recommend Burn of Bentonville.

BUYER BEWARE!! WHAT YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO KNOW AND WHAT THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU BEFORE YOU SIGN UP…read more- 1. Unlike other fitness studios/apps, if you are a direct member of Pure Barre, you CANNOT cancel your membership on the app. They ask that you call your studio. Your studio then SENDS YOU A CANCELLATION FORM that you must sign - The cancellation form fine print is attached as a photo here - YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR A WHOLE ADDITIONAL MONTH AFTER STATING YOU WANT TO CANCEL. 2. Upon signing up, I was told that it was a month-to-month and at no point was I told of a MINIMUM 3 MONTH COMMITMENT because I would NEVER have signed up in that case - YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE THREE MONTHS IF YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL WITHIN THAT TIME FRAME. 3. They change the schedule and programming on a whim. If you're a creature of habit and like a specific class style/type, there is no guarantee that you will continue to be able to maintain that in your schedule. 4. I have personally witnessed participants on occasion come into class even 10 mins late. I was about 5 mins late to class on a Saturday morning and found the studio to be locked on the outside and no one present at the front desk to open the door. This was absolutely ridiculous. Now they will say it is their policy to not allow participants in after 3 mins but why some are an exception and why some days are different is a whole other question. - BE CONSISTENT AND BE FAIR TO ALL. 5. Pure Barre puts on a great pretense of being "a community" but at the end of the day, their policies and practices simply do not align with fair treatment and community values. They are a corporation that simply wants to get a hold of your credit card information so they can continue to swipe it for a minimum of 4 months.

They remember your names and make you feel like a valued member of the studio. Coaches are very knowledgeable and accessible. They're also very attentive always checking in on you during class, making corrections to your form, or pushing you to lift heavier or go harder! I appreciate that especially since it's an expensive membership. Only knocking off one star because I had a negative interaction with the studio manager. But that was the manager. Coaches and front desk are 10/10!

OVERPRICED Costs as much per hour as other gyms cost per month…read more NO VALUE OTF provides no variety; over half of every class is spent doing cardio on both a row machine and a treadmill. The remaining 15 minutes will be spent doing mostly body-weight workouts like planks and jumping jacks that you could do literally anywhere at anytime. You're lucky if you get to use the paltry sampling of dumbbells on display during this time. NO FLEXIBILITY classes must be booked days in advance before waitlists form NO CONTROL you can't know what workouts are in advance, so you have no control over which muscle groups you develop HIDDEN FEES if life happens and you have to change your schedule day of, you either lose a class or pay a fee high enough to cover a full month at a real gym. If you have to go out of town for work, you will pay a fee for not being there In conclusion there is nothing at OTF that can't be replaced with a cheap heart rate monitor and a subscription to another gym for a fraction of the cost.

I am generally a weight lifter and previous cross fitter as far as exercise goes, so coming into yoga was completely outside of my comfort zone. I came into Yoga 101 on my first day (which is not a hot yoga class), and Scott, who is the owner, led the class. He helped me learn the basic poses and instructed me on what kind of mat to use for the class, etc. Although Scott gave me great instruction during that class, I kind of feel there needs to be a little more instruction for people who are completely new like myself. But, just as Scott did, the other instructors have been GREAT with walking me through the poses sequences and breathing techniques, so that helps. Aside from a few hiccups I experienced with my profiles and payments, everything else with NWA Hot Yoga has been great. If you have been wanting to try Hot Yoga but were intimidated like me, just take the plunge and try it. Your body will thank you.

It is a wonderful thing to get into. I had driven past NWA Yoga so many times and finally came in and I wish I came in sooner! I have really enjoyed taking classes here. I have been to other local studios, but this one is my favorite. It has a more friendly and welcoming vibe. I love Scott's Saturday morning class - kicks your butt and you feel so good! I have felt improvement from myself since coming here. They also have a kids class during it and my daughter loves to come. Come check out their classes!
