We ordered takeout. The food was ready on time. One of the orders was the Gyro Platter. The meat was very dry and tough. We've ordered this dish numerous times, and have always enjoyed it. We will try again, hopefully it was just a one time issue. read more

I came back to this establishment for another meal. The time from the appetizer arrival to the entrée arrival was better this time around. The sample mezze platter was ordered once again (see previous review for similar thoughts). I had the mixed grill ($23.95). It consisted of lamb chops, bodrum kofte, and a piece of grilled chicken. It came with a salad and rice too. The lamb chops were ideal except for each one being cooked at different temperatures. The bodrum kofte which was a beef patty was alright. It was cooked too much to my liking, but plenty of flavor. The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection. They also provided a Turkish hot sauce that went well with the chicken and beef patties. It had a perfect amount of heat. I also tried the salmon dish that was cooked with dill sauce. Again, the salmon was cooked ideally and the dill sauce gave off more of a butter taste than dill taste, which I would prefer. I also tried the beyti kebab which was ground lamb with tomato sauce. It was alright. I was not a big fan of the sauces present. read more

We stopped in for lunch and had a 3-part appetizer (Tzatziki, Babaganush, and Kisir(Turkish Tabouli)), followed by a pita wrap for each of us (Adana for me, Gyros for my wife). Everything was tasty and well-prepared. The service was excellent - punctual and professional. The restaurant is a little unassuming from the outside, but very pleasant inside. We're definitely coming back to try some of the dinner entrees! Parking can be a little challenging, but this place is worth it! read more

So, after hearing so many amazing things about Bodrum, and being tempted smelling their food from my co-workers lunch dishes, I decided it was time to finally place my order and give Bodrum a try. I ordered the Mezze platter lunch special, which allows you to choose 3 of the eight items typically included in the full-sized Mezze platter for $8 less. I opted to try the Babaganush, Kisir, and Yalanci Dolma. Now, I am not an expert on Turkish / Mediterranean food by far, but this food was amazing. It was flavorful and filling, and was exactly what I was expecting. I will definitely be returning back to try a few more items I spied on their menu since their location is so great and easy to get to on the lunch crunch time if you place the order in advance. You will still have time to eat. If dining in is your preferred method of eating, they also take reservations, which I highly recommend since it is high traffic with the winter birds back in town. Had lunch here on Saturday, quick review, good food, good service, good price. We sat outside and the bus boy immediately brought us water and the waiter followed soon after him. We started with the calamari, which was served golden brown and tender. The chef's sauce that came with it was an added plus. I went with the Gyro and my wife had the chicken wrap, both were served stuffed with meat and veggies. We both enjoyed our meal and left full with thoughts of we will return here. read more

Been here at least 6 times in 2 months. So let me begin the food is awesome I have had everything from the lamb chops which are succulent to the mezze plater which will blow your mind, the pistachio bomb was delicious and the lentil soup was delightful. The decor is quaint with blue painted walls and small pictures around with fish nets on the ceiling. The waiter and waitresses are perfect this is a place you can go and have your appetizer and tell your server you are in no rush and order you dinner or lunch secondary after you finish the appetizer " No Pressure to rush you out" . The food is always delicious. The menu is not all the normal stuff. I areas there are some options you don't see on other menus. The gyros and pitas for lunch are wonderful! We have tried several of the dinners and have never left feel less that delighted. Nice ambiance at both lunch and dinner. (I love sitting outside at lunch - with a tablecloth!) Excellent cuisine, service & ambiance. Fresh ingredients with attention to presentation made our meal even more delicious. I loved the fresh halibut gyro, and my husband raved about the roast lamb gyro and Greek wine. Atmosphere is pleasantly relaxing, and our waiter was just the best. We came here for lunch and had the gyro pita sandwich lunch special. It came with fries. The tzatziki was thinner than most gyros I've eaten, but it was really flavorful. The meat was delicious and the pita was soft. With onion and lettuce, this gyro was excellent. The fries were shoestring and crispy and perfectly prepared. read more

We had such a nice late afternoon lunch! The inside was lovely all decorated for Christmas with a beautiful tree. Tonsil was our server and he was great! He suggested the kofti which was delicious (you must try it!) and we also had the mezza sample platter. Everything was so tasty. We topped it off with wonderful rice pudding. We ate at this restaurant for the first time tonight. Deniz was our waiter and he did an excellent job! We sat out in the covered breezeway but they have a lovely dining area if you prefer. The grapeleaves were some of the best I have ever enjoyed and vegan. We enjoyed the lamb chops. They were cooked perfectly. For dessert we had the baklava and the rice pudding. It was a lovely meal. The mixture of the food was very flavorful. I highly recommend. Depending on when you go there are many shoppes to browse. Parking is easy. read more

Usually really enjoy Bodrum. The Halibut is awesome. They call it the catch of the day, but it's been on the menu every time we've been there! The lamb chops are not consistent, when they are good they are terrific but....not always good. The sample Mezze platter is wonderful as are all the appetizers! It would be nice if they had a gluten free pita option for the dips. read more

Absolutely divine! This is one of our top 3 restaurants in all of Venice! We have been for lunch, dinner and takeout and have tried the following things: Hummus-can't go wrong with this creamy classic. Soslu (cold roasted eggplant and pepper app) -new on the menu and I was not sick of it at all after eating it three meals in a row. Yum! Falafel Pita Wrap with fries for lunch-the falafel was unique and there was a good texture combination all together. Also, I think I'm a French fry connoisseur and these are some of my faves due to the crunch and perfect size. Plyaz-white bean salad. This was very fresh and full of flavor despite its simplicity. I'd get it again. Adana Kebob-my husband's favorite (the carnivore in the family). He almost ordered a second one to go to enjoy the next day! We also enjoyed a Greek red wine, a Turkish beer, and an apple tea. We never have room for dessert but will have to come just for apps and dessert next. Our server was Lisa and she was fantastic! Great service very attentive wait staff. The food came out quickly. Now I am biased because I live in an area that has a large selection of Middle Eastern and Greek cuisine. The food was not bad just super basic no spice bland. The items where extremely overpriced , $30 for a iskander kebob( chopped up Gyro meat chopped up bread and special sauce) this should be a $10 item. My meal for 4 people with tip(20%) for two appetizer 4 entrées and one glass of wine and baklava (that was great!) was $188 !! I still can't believe how much they charged !! read more
