Ensalada mixta ($12.00 HH)

Been to Bodega on Main for a few visits. Tried their happy hour (3pm-6pm daily, 10pm to late Sunday-Thursday). They're next door to Torafuku. Happy hour consists of 9 items and drinks. Service was okay but had to ask for water multiple times. - La hora del vermut ($10.00 HH) - doesn't beat any house vermouths in Spain - Ensalada mixta ($12.00 HH) - plain - Patatas bravas ($8.00 HH) - standard - Arroz espanol ($14.00 HH) - seafood rice pilaf (basically a mini paella) was bland - Jamon serrano ($14.00 HH) - paper thin slices - Calamares fritos ($15.00 HH) - serviceable - Montaditos de lomo ($13.00 HH) - two pieces of pork on bread. Not what we were expecting - Pollo frito ($12.00 HH) - three overcooked wings - Churros ($11.00 HH) - lacked a satisfying bite. Chocolate sauce had an odd after taste

Stopped here specifically for Happy Hour because they looked to have a good food selection. We made reservations but didn't really need them as the place was less than half full. I've never been to Spain, but the place definitely gave me a nice vibe and really enjoyed the wide photo collection along the main wall. We tried four things: - Patatas Bravas: Good. One of my favourite Spanish tapas. Great bravas sauce. - Jamon Serranos: Good. Quite of bit of oil, and a side of olives - Calamares Fritos: OK. Thinly breaded. - Pollo Frito: Good. Quite crispy, and meaty chicken wings Service was pretty standard. Overall, an affordable Happy Hour meal in a nice space. I would come back

Stopped by Bodega on Main late night (10pm) on a Thursday and they were empty so it was easy to get a spot for 5 people pretty easily. Their interiors are pretty nice and a good place for a large group. It's a tapas place so you would want to order multiple things for the table because it's all shareables. Patatas Bravas: 5/5 this was my favourite thing from their menu. It was fried potatoes with a zesty, tangy dressing. Really enjoyed it! Chorizo iberico: 5/5 again, super garlicky and lots of flavour!! champinones: basically garlicky mushrooms! For dessert we got their - churros: SOOO good!! The chocolate dipping sauce it came with really made the experience better. membrillo y queso: such an interesting dessert, it came with machengo cheese and a jelly! It was salty, tangy and sweet. 4/5

I came here just to try paella and I was not disappointed! The menu said that the paella comes with two servings per order, but I was able to split it two other friends as the pan is quite large. We also got the soup of the day (a tart tomato cream soup with goat cheese), an order of ceviche (it had a bit of a spicy kick to it), and beef tongue (super tender and tomato-y) and was so full after! Everything was very delicious and the aesthetic interior of the restaurant really completes the experience. The staff were also very helpful and friendly so I'd definitely come back here again. The total came around to $35 per person (before tips)!

Nice spot for happy hour on Main St. Lots of seating and easygoing atmosphere. I enjoyed my red wine and the patatas bravas - nice sauce. The meatballs were just okay but was a good portion.

calamari, patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo, arroz español

Came at a Friday at 4:30 PM and we were seated immediately--no need to make a reservation bc the restaurant was quite empty. Place was charmingly decorated and service was friendly. Food also came out pretty fast. Ordered: calamari, patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo, arroz español. Would skip the gambas as they came out lukewarm and did not have a the garlic flavor. Calamari and patatas bravas was decent, arroz español was the favorite out of the four tapas as it was buttery and savory. Higher price point, but would be a decent place for the vibes and just to grab a drink.

Everything was fantastic and delicious. Very nice presentation. Very nice wine.! the waitress was very nice and helpful to explain the menu in and translate English and Spanish. To our party. Since one of our guest speak Spanish and visiting from Mexico. good recommendations.Lots of things to look at on the walls.

I really enjoyed my experience here. We walked in and found a spot downstairs. We had some great recommendations from our server and some yummy drinks. I'll be back next time with a bigger group to try the paella and sangria pitcher.

Cool vibe Friendly staff Large bar Pros- Tons of seating Intimate dining Great for large groups Tasty sangria Paella is delicious- Salad tasty Cons- Paella DID not take 30 minutes as suggested Food came out in a weird way Some of the food came out luke warm which made those items unappetizing Fried chicken wings were very salty Overall a cool experience- Suggest- serve tapas before paella

Came here on a date and we ordered way too much food! But that way we were also able to try a bunch of different things. Apparently this is a really popular date night and group celebration spot as there were lineups out the door! Staff were attentive and came by to check on us often. Our server was knowledgeable and suggested great options. My favourite dish was probably the beef and then the paella!

Food: tapa dishes are very foodie friendly, the quality and dishes are prepared with great finesse, the paella senyoret is a must have, a dream come true for patrons like us, who enjoy clean and comfy ambiance Service: friendly staff, not the easiest to get a hold of, but did bring everything in a promptly fashion, it is a heritage establishment, so respect all the standards of services Ambiance: highly recommend people to take public transportation there, such as bus, uber, etc, if you are driving please park on national ave, not on back Love the photos of Spanish plays on the walls, takes customers down a memory lane Tables are old, it fits the overall vibe

Splendid place with Spanish tapas. We came here for the brunch but just ended up with a whole bunch of tapas to share. Portions are pretty reasonable. - fried chicken wings - these are really good - Patatas bravas - we loved the sauce. Pretty good. - mushrooms - great flavour - tortilla espanola - love the texture flavours and it goes well with the aioli - albóndigas - great sauce and flavour. - eggplant - not bad I would definitely recommend this place for some tapas.

We arrived around 2 PM for our reservation and were greeted warmly right away, which made for a great first impression. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The bamboo divider running through the middle of the space gave it a cozy, modern Japanese-inspired feel, and the overall atmosphere was probably my favorite part of the experience. As for the food, unfortunately it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. I ordered the seafood sizzler bowl, and while it wasn't bad by any means, it felt underwhelming for the price. The bowl was mostly rice, with a few small prawns, tiny scallops, a little roe, and some crab mixed in. I was expecting something more seafood-forward, so it ended up feeling more like a deconstructed fried rice than the premium dish I had envisioned. Same with the unagi bowl, couple small pieces of unagi cut up... The appetizers were actually the highlight of the meal and ended up being more memorable than my main course. I kept waiting for a dish to really wow me, but nothing stood out enough to make me crave a return visit. Maybe I just ordered the wrong items, because I know this place has plenty of fans. Overall, I'm glad I tried it, but based on this visit, I don't see myself making a special trip back.

Atmosphere is so busy and lively, with white a modern decor. It's certainly a hot spot among tourists. Appreciate that you can choose your spice level and that they had small bite appetizers that children can eat. We really enjoyed it overall and I'd recommend if you're in the mood for ramen.

I've had Jinya twice now and enjoyed it both times! The classic ramen is my favourite so far. Last night I had the chicken wonton ramen + egg and it was abit too heavy - they give you quite a few wontons! We also had the crunchy cucumber salad which Wes tasty but wanted abit of a kick of spice to it. And we got the spicy creamy shrimp tempura which is exactly like an ebi mayo which was so delicious! Great sauce great crunch factor! Service is always fast! You may find a line when you go but they try their best to seat you as quickly as they can. The atmosphere is usually always buzzing and the have great alcoholic and non alcoholic drink options! Will be back for sure.

Our server was attentive and around when we needed something but never interrupting, and his recommendations ended up being some of our favourite dishes. The anchovy olives were a standout, super crispy, packed with flavour, and not overly fishy at all (great if you're a bit hesitant about anchovies). The mushroom toast was rich, savoury, and full of umami. Just a heads up not to let it sit too long since it softens the bread. The tuna tartare was fresh and well-balanced. Not my personal favourite served on toast, but still really enjoyable overall. The paella was excellent, perfectly cooked shrimp, tclams, and crispy pork belly chicharrón that added the best salty, fatty crunch. The roasted cabbage completely surprised me and was easily one of the best veggie dishes I've had in a while. I could have eaten a whole plate of it. We wrapped things up with churros and shared a pitcher of sangria. For three people, it came out to about $68 each before tip, which felt very fair for how much we ordered. Would definitely recommend.

As well, the manchego was so tiny it was like a shaving . The bone marrow amounted to about three teaspoons of marrow. We were so sad and dissatisfied. The patatas bravas was okay. Unfortunately we do not have a reason to return.
