Very personable and engaging staff. The owner greeted me as an old friend at the door and ensured that I had a pleasant experience throughout my entire meal. If you want a hearty breakfast I highly recommend the steak and eggs. Cooked to order, very well seasoned and much more tender than any steakhouse chain. Great job Bodega 1205! We will definitely be back. read more

Nice decor, good service. I had the bodega sandwich which was really good. The bodega chips were good but a few were undercooked. My wife had the Chimichurri steak. It was a little over cooked. The Plantains were amazing. A little pricy but will visit again. read more

I recently had a good friend from Tampa, FL visit me in Columbus, GA. He is originally from Puerto Rico. Though I am in my mid-60s, my wife, my friend, and his girlfriend are in their mid-50s. My wife and I took him and his girlfriend to Bodega 1205, in Columbus GA. The wife and I have been there several times, and we both enjoy good Hispanic food as we also lived in Tampa for several years during my military career. My friend was enthralled with the quality of Bodega's menu. He and his girlfriend (also a native-born Puerto Rican) touted the food was as good as any they used to get in Puerto Rico and reminded them of their youth. Thank you Bodega 1205 for taking our friends back to their childhood and delivering high-quality food, service, and environment. We are customers for life. read more

Perfect Latin Fusion mix restaurant. It was delicious, fast, very welcoming and not expensive.

Just finished eating at the bodega 1205 for my first time and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience from the perfect shade with the outside dining to the well crafted Spanish-American / Latin fusion dishes Make sure to tip your waiter/ waitress as they are on on a mission to make your experience great , in this case my server was Kimberly an outstanding waitress with great hospitality skills and knowledge on the dishes and ingredients 10/10 hands down! read more

Cuban sandwich just nearly as good as Florida . Really nice addition to Columbus cuisine !!

We've been twice and both times were fantastic. Definitely try the caffe au lait and the cuban sandwich at lunch, the empanada samplers, and the various breakfast options. read more

Amazing pork! Will definitely come back the next time I'm in the area. Fun atmosphere great vibe.

I love Bodega, I have eaten there now 3 times in the past two months and every time the staff is great and the food as well. The place itself is clean and beautifully decorated, the menu is great and has enough for people who want to try something new as well as something for picky eaters. I love the guava butter and their pancakes. Will be returning within the next month or so. read more

The food here is amazing, and almost every time my husband and I go the place is packed. While the food is delicious, my only complaint is that service seems to take a while. It might be because the servers are spread thin or the cooks may only be able to prepare so quickly, but don't let that dissuade you from eating here. The food is delicious. I would give 5 stars otherwise. read more

Coming from The Villages, Florida, we stopped in Columbus only because we wanted to eat at Bodega 1205 based on the Yelp ad and the restaurants well done menu pictures. We were not disappointed. Bodega 1205 is a must stop if you are any where near Columbus, GA. I had the Bodega Sandwich, ham, bologna, capicola with tomato and Swiss cheese. My partner had the Maritsa Freitas, fried pork sautéed with white onions. We also took their special coffee beans and the Chicken Pio Pio soup to go. Right now in our hotel room, I am having the soup which is also delicious. What can we say. Go! Cheryl B. read more

I loved this place. Like really loved. The atmosphere is so bright and relaxing. The whole place has real character. The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. And the food. THE FOOD. Unbelievable. I got the ribs, my favorite food, and these were the best I've ever had. Every element of the dish was perfect. Even the white rice was somehow mouth-watering good. Everyone in my party got something different and all thoroughly enjoyed it. Seriously, this may be the best food in Columbus. I plan to put the chef in my will. read more

I had the cafe con leaky and it was so good. I used to live in an attic and my roommate would make me cafe con leaky the real way and this place's cafe con leaky brings me right back to that dingy attic. You have to try this place! read more

Came in and had lunch while visiting Columbus. Food was fabulous! I had the Ropa Vieja and my husband had the Caribbean chicken. Both were seasoned to perfection and had a very nice presentation. The owner came by our table to see if everything was okay! Super friendly place with really great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend trying if you are in the area. Next time we visit, I want to try a Cuban. It looked delicious! read more

Great food experience for breakfast. We had family in-town for holidays. Staff were incredibly and provided great insight to their food.

I had a very good experience at the Bodega. Its my first time going but not my last. Awesome customer service. The owner came to the table and made recommendations that did not fail. Authentic and amazing food. We ordered the kan kan which is a 5lb porkchop that came with rice, beans, plantains and yuca fries. They have fresh squeezed juice and awesome lattes. I highly recommend you checking it out, you wont be disappointed. The bodega sauce is a must taste. read more

The food is good but the wait isn't worth it. You'll wait 30 minutes to be seated and another hour to get your food. Don't bother and go somewhere else. read more

First time visiting this establishment and have to say that it was worth it. The layout and décor of the restaurant made it feel warm and inviting and the wait staff provided all the info needed for their specials and also their recommendations. I had their pulled pork lunch special and have to say that I didn't have to add anything to it whatsoever -- it was seasoned perfectly. I will go back to try their breakfast items and would also recommend this place to anyone. read more

Unfortunately as good as the flavors were in my chicken sandwich I was VERY disappointed by the slither of chicken meat I was served. The sandwich appeared as 70% bread, 25% lettuce/tomatoes and 5% chicken. Shame on you guys. read more

If you want an over priced egg look no further. The food was not good at all. The service was okay but the expanding of the menu was not good. . I do not recommend this place. The check was not adding up and the coffee was charged twice instead of being charged as a refill. read more

Really nice brunch spot . We loved the decor and Latin music being played . Had some of the best French press coffee ever . Menu is simple but a good selection. Had the Bodega omelet with potatoes and plantains which was delicious . Would definitely come here again . Side note- wait staff service was spotty ... sat for 15 min with no one coming to the table , brought the wrong coffee , had to ask for water twice.... it seems like they may be working out the kinks - but I would still come again - read more
