I got the tortilla española breakfast which was super delish with chorizo, and I also got a side of the pulled top sirloin which was good! But this small side was pretty pricey ($9) and a bit dry. Would definitely come back! I'm really looking forward to next time :)

Well, Super Mercado Las Americas in Columbus, Georgia is a great example that that particular trend of good tacos in not so good neighborhood. The restaurant is located in the back of a time worn market. The furnishings, plates, knives and forks are all bargain basement or dollar store quality and the market is located next door to a place that sells new and used tires. But the food, as the memes and adage imply, is solid. I definitely have had better, but this place produces a fine product. I found the tacos better than the pupusa in the full entrees look pretty good, as well. Service is friendly, but I would not say that it is very professional. It appears to be more that they brought in family and friends to run food out to you. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it bears mentioning. All in all, this was a great stop for lunch.

Prices were reasonable- my fiesta fajita meal was under $20 and had shrimp, chorizo, chicken, steak, AND carnitas. Huge value and all the meat was yummy. If I returned, I would definitely just skip the heavy app and get an entree.
