It's a cute little shop perfect if you want to stop and get some work done. I was surprised that book selection was so small, I guess I was expecting a little bigger but that doesn't warrant a lower rating. I've only had the tea so I can't speak on behalf of the coffee but the tea was pretty good and not the typical coffee shop tea. The books look a little more modern so if you were hoping for the classics like Jane Austin you might have to go elsewhere. read more

I started enjoying coffee here when it opened a few years ago...thoroughly enjoyed everything about this shop. I was a little disappointed once certain people were let go because the friendly atmosphere had changed and it seemed a little stuffy in there. Being a local and having Pensacola be a small town it's nice going into a shop that will remember you or ask how things are, and that seemed to fall short for a little while as well as my once perfect lattes were now being served too hot or burned. I hope that has all changed but I will see when I pop in again if things are any better. read more

Cute, modern/trendy/hipster coffee place downtown. Pensacola is really stepping up its game with this little craft coffee place. The serve coffee brewed several ways (pour-over, french, chemex, and siphon) and will explain what each method is and what it does to coffee. Is it THE BEST coffee in the world? No, but it is a far cry better than bitter starbucks and most anything else you will get in this area. It's good enough that you can drink it black and enjoy the flavor, in my opinion. Prices aren't bad considering how much I expected them to be for such a trendy little place. read more

Not bad, but not my favorite: very solid 3.5/5 for my drink. This is a cute little coffee shop in downtown Pensacola and definitely has a great coffee shop vibe. I'm something of a coffee snob and always order a dry soy cappuccino as my test drink. Why? If you order a "complicated" drink and it is made to your liking, chances are the simpler drinks will faire well too. Makes sense, right? I order cappuccinos because they have less milk and more foam -- it goes along the lines of I like milk in my coffee, not coffee in my milk. The foam was nice. It had fine, frothy bubbles, if I we're super nit-picky, I'd say they could be finer, but foam isn't a big deal for me, so I was fine with it. The milk was good. It was hot, but not burnt, which is nice because I feel like soy gets burnt easier than regular cows milk. A little much for a "dry" cap, but not too much to where I couldn't taste the shots; which wasn't a big deal for me either. The shot though, I wasn't a big fan of. It tasted like it was either dead or just a bad pull. Which for me, makes the drink. When the shots hit the foam they kind of dry on it and you can taste the pulled shot, mine was really sour, which isn't a really pleasant taste. I mean, everything else was alright, and maybe the barista who made my drink was being careless or felt rushed, but I did think that the shot could've been better. Other things I thought were cool though, we're the different methods you could get your coffee. Pour-over is my favorite brew system, so I appreciated that they had that available. I also like that they have cold brew coffee (toddy), but I haven't tried it yet. I'll still drop in to see if the shots improve, but until then, this place is still so-so. Not bad, not amazing, but definitely not terrible. Good potential! I'll be back! read more

I am so excited about to new opening of the Bodacious Brew Drive-Thru!! This is the best place to grab a cup of coffee or any type of coffee drink. They have actual baristas in-house that know the nuances of making a quality "cup-o-joe on the the go" (TM if that becomes the hook ... LOL). But seriously you can not get a better cup of coffee in Seattle. Most ingredients are natural and they have a healthy vibe to everything they offer on their menu ... still same quality as their Palafox location ... and now the convenience of this new drive-thru location. read more

First off, what is this place? There's ten different things going on, but only some of them are open. Was told there was a shop upstairs, so I went to check it out. I was promptly rushed out of it because it was "not open." There were no signs, nor was there any rope to signify it was closed. I work in retail and the worker that accosted me gave me the "I think you're stealing vibe." I gave this place a 2 star just because it was clean. It really should be lower though. This is my go to coffee shop in pensacola. The coffee is great; breakfasts also very good. Gets a little crowded on the weekends but they have a decent amount of tables outside too. Just a really little place; my only complaint of was when I stepped out to use the restroom there was a female patron apparently flirting with my partner lol...certainly can't blame the coffee house for that one! read more

Took 25 minutes for them to greet us at the drive through, wanted to order pizza which is on the menu and she told me i can't get it. well how about you take it off the damn menu. I really only ordered a biscuit and a iced honey latte and it took nearly 30 minutes to receive. Will not be coming back here. read more

This is the best place I've gone to for breakfast here in Pensacola so far! The place itself is beautiful with a very laid back and relaxing atmosphere, you can definitely spend some time there studying or chatting with friends. The food was amazing! I had a breakfast sandwich called the "Julia Child" which was scrambled eggs, bacon and jack cheese on a croissant with a side of red roasted potatoes. The sandwich was incredibly fresh and tasty. You can literally see the chef cooking up your food with all fresh ingredients. The price is also great! It's very cheap for such good quality food. There is a lot of healthy options and so many different things to choose from. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

I really want to like this place, but cannot seem to find a way to rate higher than three stars. The customer service is marginal at best. Was here on Sunday for brunch and they were out of everything. Back on a weekday for a salad and the line is forever. Staff is on the phone and not focused on customers. Just heard the staff saying they were consumed with a 12:30pm catering order. Poor communication as to what each line is for and what is ordered where. They were grossly understaffed and the wait for a salad was excessive. As for the salad, it was okay. read more

Pretty good coffee joint in the heart of Pensacola. After walking around town with a 9 and 2 month old, we were all pretty ready for a jolt of caffeine. Stepping into Bodacious Brew, we were greeted by delicious smelling coffee, and a nice menu of options. I went with the vanilla latte, which tasted fantastic. My wife went with the french press brew, which took a pretty long time to make (understood, it's french press), but at the end of the wait, she was given a cup of coffee that pretty much fell flat. I tried it as well and found it pretty meh. A regular cup of drip coffee would've been better. Other than that, good place! read more

Amazing place. It's a restaurant but has an adjacent store that sells a myriad of olive oils and balsamic vinegars that are available for tasting. I went for the breakfast yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. It's a cafe style area that sells coffee, expresso, quiche, crossiant sandwiches, wraps, toast, cookies, and more. I got the bacon, egg and cheese croissant with a side of grits to go. My meal was ready within minutes. Large portion sizes too. The crossiant was fully loaded. The grits were enough for 2 servings. Everything was really tasty. The grits were the best I've had in a long time, instant gratification when your taste buds got some of them. Super creamy with actual corn and a slight cheese flavor. I LOVED them. The crossiant was very good as well. I think there was mushrooms in the scrambled eggs. I'm definitely willing to try other items on the menu. The cafe had limited seating. It had 1 tv. They did offer military discount. I've also had the bagel sandwich which was good too. Couldn't really tasse the aioli though read more

Husband had great vanilla latte. I had a powerful cortado. It was the hipster style cortado not Cuban which is why I took off a star. That means it tasted like motor oil and required milk and sugar to be drinkable, but had pretty squirls in it. I know that some people prefer their cortados that way so no judgement. The environment was cool with exposed brick and beaker jars all over the place. Had some flashbacks to my college Chem labs in there. Would definitely recommend it to a friend to try out, but wouldn't become a regular. read more

It's really a toss up between this place and Foskos when it comes to downtown coffee places. The baristas are friendly, knowledgeable and quick. They serve the coffee in porcelain cups which, for me, somehow makes the coffee more delicious. I've only heard about their breakfast being great but it doesn't matter how good or bad it is as their coffee will already be on point. read more

I'm just coming through Pensacola for the first time and found this place and I love it. The interior is adorable and the staff was so friendly. I had a delicious vanilla latte and the guy put a little heart design on it. Adorable. And it's not just pretty, you can tell these people are serious about their craft. No blended stuff or crazy ridiculous flavors. Just great quality coffee. And amazing gelato!! (Coconut chocolate was a spectacular choice) highly recommended!! read more

The atmosphere and presentation is nice. The store is clean and well-maintained. However, if you're after real coffee this is not the place for you. For one thing, their signature brew is extremely fruity. Unique, yes, but if you're thinking good strong espresso, you will most likely be disappointed. Secondly, I just will not accept anyone who doesn't know what a long black is to know their coffee. Try them for a pleasant cafe experience or if you're in the mood for something different. But If you're a serious coffee drinker, best go some place else. The attached olive oil/balsamic vinegar store is well worth the visit though. read more

This place is wonderful! Their ice coffee is to die for, I think they use espresso so it's not watered down at all. Their pastries are perfectly baked, in house and fresh daily. Their olive oil store has an open kitchen open for breakfast, too. Produce is purchased daily for their breakfast and it's reasonably priced. Definitely recommend! read more

I really like the convenience of Bodacious Brew to where I work downtown. Their food is very good quality and tastes great, and their staff is very knowledgeable about what they serve. The downside is that portions are always different every time I order food. I've probably ordered their Bodacious Grits a dozen times, and each time, they are served in a different size container; when I've ordered toast, sometimes I get one piece that is tiny and sometimes I get two very large pieces. Coffee prices could be a little more reasonable. read more
