Love the strong scent of surfboard Sex Wax eminating in the air throughout the spacious store. The inventory was well organized with easy visual of the large assortment of skateboards and surfboards from the front door. The two female employees greeted us with a smile and offered assistance if needed. The aisles are easily navigated with wide open space to browse the big brand beach and surf clothing. Two of the "gondola" clothing racks were full of Buy 2 Get 1 Free deals. This shop had a strong emphasis on brand name flip-flops from Birkenstock, OluKai, Volcom and Reef. One of the Volcom flops were super comfy for $40.00, but were offered on Amazon for $28.99 with Free next day delivery. No price matching from Amazon here offered, not many places would. read more

Did not realize how big this place was until I stepped inside. Browsed the swim wear for a while then switched to the surf boards at the back of the store. The staff said hello when I entered and was helpful. If you love the beach this place will have something for you. read more

This is my favorite shop in the Boca/Delray area, lots of cool apparel, gear, and accessories.

I love Boca surf and Sail! They have an awesome selection of bathing suits, flip flops, super cute dresses shorts and just overall beachwear! And their prices are way better then many of the surf shops on A1A. You still get that beach vibe though! The staff is also so much friendlier then what I've encountered. I don't know the girls name but she's tall and blonde and so sweet every time I go in theta, which is quite often since I moved across the street! Keep it up guys, I love it here read more

Very cute beach wear and many brands to choose from. Their selections for sandals are huge, including Toms and Sanuk for both guys and gals, and they even have kids' sizes. Half the store is for the girls clothes and the other half is for the guys. They have Ruca, Roxy, and Volcom among my favorites. They have a pretty big section for sunglasses and surf watches as well. What really makes this place the best is their selection of surfboards, paddle boards, and having everything in between including sunblock to waterproof cases. This is a must for every beach goer nearby. And who can resist Coco and Maui when they're "working"? The owners are the friendliest guys in town and everyone at the beach knows them. It must be all these years of going to the beach early every morning! And just a tourist tip: if you don't know where to go or what you can find in Boca or Delray, just ask Bob. He goes to the beach, surfs, dives, and fish everyday. If you want to know the deats on where to go for snorkeling/fishing/diving, just ask him and he'll be so happy you asked! read more

MEH...long time local and native here. Someone purchased a gift for me from the place and I had to make an exchange and purchased additional items while there! The girls seemed bothered by the fact that they had to work to help me look for a few things. I brushed it off as maybe they are having a bad day. I went back again to find a few more items. This is my second review of Boca Surf & Sail. Shout out to Marcos for helping me right at 9am when they opened when I could tell he had other things to get done. This shop as well as island water sports have great prices on surf boards and skateboards. I dropped my surf skate into my pool this weekend and brought it in to Boca surf and sail. Once Marcos opened the wheels up we could tell they needed to be replaced as they were rusted stiff. He not only replaced them for me but he didn't up sell me on which bearings to buy but instead pointed me towards the ones best suited for my skating. Good guy, and great shop! Thank you! read more

Drove down from West Palm Beach on a whim to go to this particular surf shop for souvenirs. Totally worth it. Brandi greeted me a friendly smile and asked if I needed help with anything. After browsing I told her I was ready. Brandi helped me pick out a beautiful Roxy maxi sundress & Roxy flip flops for my daughter, 2 great T-shirts for my brother, a pair of Nohea's mesh shoes for my son, a stay cool canteen & suction disk for my parents (the disk is great for boating, never tips over!) and a pair of Reef flip flops for me of course. Something for EVERYONE. Brandi was informative, patient and happy to ship all of it to my home address to Maine. How convenient is that? Blown away at the level of service I received from Bob this week. Bob made a potentially massive problem with my paddle board easy to fix. They work with the right manufacturers and conduct great business! He said "I'll look into it and get back to you end of day tomorrow." Then called back in ten minutes with a resolution. This is by far my favorite shop in South Florida. Boca Surf & Sail does an awesome job of still being a really good surf shop. What does that mean? It mean's having interesting boards that are actually functional for the location (South FL), local brands and a real understanding of what surfers want. The kicker for this place is the owners. Bob and Bruce are great people that truly care about their customers. Growing up in South FL, I started going to Boca Surf & Sail when I was 13 years old, many many years later I still stop by every time I am in town. Bottom line: I love this place. Bruce is a really good dude and set me up with a 7'2" Kechle swallow tail that I absolutely love. Got a great deal and he threw in the fins, best prices in the area for boards. Was super helpful all throughout the process and gives recommendations from experience. I met Bob as well and his two very good dogs. Had my pup with me and they ran around together just doing good dog stuff. Overall extremely positive shopping experience. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. read more

Easily the best shop in all of Palm Beach county. The staff and extremely friendly and knowledgeable about surfing. Excellent spot to get your apparel and a board. They have rental programs that are reasonable and fit multiple budgets. Probably the best thing about the shop is that they let you sample a board before you buy it. This is my go to spot. read more

Awesome surf shop; easily best in Boca area. Totally friendly employees (including super cute female help) and a huge selection of wet suits, rashers, accessories, and a ton of t shirts and board shorts. Anytime I'm in the area, I stop in to check out any new stuff they have (and to check out those female employees)! They also have a great selection of skateboards, including the long boards (which I prefer). Overall, great REAL surf and skate shop. Love it! read more

This shop is a real surf shop and not just a sandal store. The ladies helped me pick a nice RVCA fishnet item for a friend. Kudos to Sydney for taking the time. I bought an Orion 6'0, some soft racks, and a sock for the board from here as well. Great selection of clothes, shoes, boards, surf gear for guys, girls, and kids from brands like oneil, roxy, oakley, ruca, billabong, sanuk, toms, hurley, reef, and many others. They also have accessories and other things like sunglasses, sunblock, belts and what have you. Friendly and attentive staff are always at the ready. The owners are very nice and very good at remembering their clientele by face and names. It's got a very good vibe all over the store and some of the girls that work here are sweet. read more

Great shop! Beautiful selection of things to choose from, however, the shopping experience wasn't great. I've always been a fan of this shop for my grandchildren and myself, until recently. As a woman in her 60's shopping at a store with so many options for her family, I expected help, but never got any. Instead, the FOUR people behind the counter just sat and talked while taking pictures. Horrible customer service. Not to mention that the store was unorganized and the employees were busy taking pictures. I recently returned to buy my son swimsuits... no help until a young man came in and dedicated all of his time to me. Because of the lack of customer service, I will go down the street to other local shops. If it was not for the young man, I would have left on another bad note. read more
