    Had a great experience from beginning to end! I sent pictures of what i was looking for and they delivered! The flowers were gorgeous and lasted 2 weeks! I've never had flowers last that long. It was a pleasure working with them , and I will de use them in the future! I highly recommend them!

    My wedding was the week after Hurricane Irma hit (09/17/2017) So you can imagine all that could have gone wrong BUT my day was perfect none the less! Better than I expected! I had an awesome experience with Boca by Design. We worked with Carlos and it was such a pleasure. We were very proactive in our planning and after looking at each of the preferred vendors from The Addison, Boca by Design was our pick. We met with Carlos about 10 months before our wedding and He was very receptive of my ideas and I trusted his judgement and let him have creative control and he literally manifest my decor vision!!! Carlos worked very well with in our budget, He never pressured us for extras that was not apart of the vision and I appreciated that so much about him. The flowers and center pieces were so beautiful! I still smile til this day thinking about my wedding. Thank you Carlos and I highly recommed Boca by Design!

Not only did we speak multiple times before the big day, she told me exactly how to get organized and we had the perfect game plan once the day came around. Of course, weather, unexpected delays, and small obstacles popped up and Becky fixed the bumps in the road without adding any stress to my day. She kept me relaxed and made sure my day was enjoyable. Becky went totally above and beyond, my guests had an incredible time, and not even rain could keep us from having the most wonderful night.     When I was getting married a year ago my wedding coordinator suggested that we get a dresser on the…read moreday of our wedding. My mom and I laughed about that absurd idea because how hard could it be to get 1 bride, mother-of-the-bride, and 8 bridesmaids dressed. We do just fine on our own each morning! And so no dresser for us... Wedding day arrived and everyone managed to get dressed just fine, but there were definitely some bow tying issues. Fortunately, my wedding venue (The Breakers) has wedding planning down to a science and their fabulous team made sure everyone in my party was zipped and tied to perfection. However, if I hadn't gotten married at The Breakers where I seriously had 1 woman who's entire job was to hold my the back of my dress until I was bustled (I kid you not) and a talented bow tying floirst (shout out to Richard from Breakers by Design) I'm starting to think the idea of a dresser isn't such an absurd idea. I was back in Palm Beach as maid-of-honor for my best friend's wedding last month and she hired Lisette as her dresser for the day. And Lisette really went above and beyond. Just a few of the many tasks Lisette and her fabulous assistant, Lou, performed that day: * They steamed all our dresses * Manged to get 8 bridesmaids into 8 dresses with VERY tricky zippers * Sticky taped our boobs so our dresses wouldn't fall down. * Helped the bride and mother-of-the-bride put on their dresses, shoes, jewelry, and even deodorant * Found a curling iron at the spa of the hotel and re-curled the bride's hair after we discovered the hairdresser had taken off as soon as we started pictures (not cool of the hairdresser by the way). I was so impressed with Lisette that I took a few cards and have passed them on to all the brides I know getting married in South Florida. I have no idea how much Lisette costs, but whatever it is...she's worth it!

She was with me every step of the way (literally). My bridesmaids referred to her as the "angel". She was truly wonderful and could not recommend more!

Through the rollercoaster of planning a wedding during COVID-19, Adri remained cool, calm, creative and flexible. She helped us downsize our 300+ person wedding into a gorgeous and incredibly special micro wedding with our immediate families. Adri is an incredibly detailed process manager and her design sense is unparalleled. But what really sets her apart is her beautiful spirit and passion for creating extraordinary events. It is truly a joy to work with her, and she radiates a calming presence that puts everyone at ease. She treats her clients like family, and is kind and collaborative with every vendor. There were so many instances when Adri went WAY above and beyond the scope of our contract to make sure every our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect. She made sure to bring our vision to light and executed such a beautiful bridal shower. Her staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The day of the event, her staff arrived on time and everything was set up in time for the party. The decor was absolutely lovely and glamorous. The staff was attentive, thoughtful and courteous. From the setup to the breakdown- everything was in pristine condition. Thank you so much for giving my sister such a lovely bridal shower! I was able to host and actually enjoy the event without having to worry about anything else that day! Will definitely be using your services again! Highly recommended!

    It really is quite shocking to see all the positive reviews on Myrna as my husband and I truly…read moreregret hiring her as our full service wedding planner for our wedding on November 2019. In fact, like many other bride-to-be's, the positive reviews are what initially led us to her. Initially, we felt quite confident in her ability to plan our 300-guest wedding as she is great at verbally selling her services and expertise. Over time, her started becoming clear including her lack of attention to detail, her lack of initiative and her lack of ability to adapt. In the wedding planning process, we constantly had to remind her about previous conversations and details (that were already discussed). We constantly had to remind her that we had a budget and that we needed to make an effort to negotiate prices. We often had to ask for more vendor options, or additional quotes (she has her preferred vendors, and does not recommend anyone outside). She often did not contact us or communicate with us unless we reached out to her. How are we supposed to know what to do or what to ask for? That is precisely what wedding planners are for. She has a very laissez-faire attitude which is quite surprising for a wedding planner. The groom and I felt as though we had no other option but to try and micromanage her because we didn't want her to forget or miss details which would result in things not being accounted for. I found myself often revisiting wedding planning websites, checklists and guides hoping to have what I needed (to essentially plan my own wedding) because I did not feel like I was getting support from her. We really tried to give her the benefit of the doubt that she would pull through for us on the actual wedding day (as she promised us that she would) and I continued to be optimistic for the sake of peace of mind. On the days leading up to the wedding itself (when her involvement was absolutely crucial), we started realizing the effects of her sloppy organizational skills as things were falling apart. For example, we did not even have our designed wedding cake on our wedding day! (Luckily, the venue happened to have a cake in the back that they quickly brought into our ballroom for us to cut). For most of the day, she was missing in action and the groom and I had to scramble to answer questions from the church coordinator, DJ, etc as she was nowhere to be found. We spent so much time arranging a day-of-timeline and a detailed outline of our evening reception. Interestingly enough, the only things that went AS planned during the evening reception were from the vendors that we found on our own (not through her). She also left early from the reception and if she actually stayed, she would've realized that as we neared the activities at the end of the reception, the DJ went straight into the final dancing without giving us an opportunity to say a thank you speech. We didn't even get a chance to thank our guests for coming! Many vendors expressed their concerns and frustration to us regarding her presence or lack thereof on the day of the event. I normally am not one to write reviews, in fact this is the first review I have ever written on a product or service that was provided to me. I genuinely felt let down and I am also not someone that has very high expectations or is unreasonable. But for any bride, this is supposed to be the biggest day of their life. To be completely honest, I was deliberating whether or not to leave a review. Then I thought about other brides who may be in the midst of planning their weddings and who might land on her company "It's Your Party Events" and then I thought to myself that if I could save a fellow bride from an absolutely disappointing day, of course I would. I owe it to them and to my conscience. Perhaps they may see this review and reconsider. Nearly four months later, I still think about how much better the day could have been if we had the help of a true wedding planner by our side. Feel free to contact me if you want more details.
