DO NOT use this vendor...they're horrible and they ruined our wedding! My blood boils when I even…read morethink of them! We hired Grace and her staff for our beachside wedding. The staff showed up 10min's PRIOR to our scheduled ceremony time! I was frantic & kept calling Grace to find out where her staff was at - a bride should NOT have to do this minutes before being scheduled to walk down the aisle! When the staff arrived, they claimed it was because their last job assignment ran late and they were stuck in traffic. I'm NOT in the business and even I know to plan and allow enough time for something this important! Months before our wedding, we paid extra to rent the bamboo alter. We showed Grace photos of how we wanted the alter decorated (elegant w/ white drapery). Her guys show up & they start stapling palm tree leaves & red flowers. I'm watching from the balcony at our resort from across the street & I'm ready to have a stroke. I'm on my cell calling my family members & having them run down to the beach to tell the guys how they're SUPPOSED to be decorating the alter. Meanwhile, we have 75 guests in the lobby of the resort waiting to cross the walk over to the ceremony site. Turns out, her staff had no idea we had a specific alter decoration request (do these people not communicate over there???) so they tell my family they don't have enough fabric to set the alter up the way we requested. Instead of having the elegant draping effect we requested months ago, they take what little white fabric they found in their truck & wrap it around the alter poles as if it were a candy cane...come on, seriously??? It was SOOOOO TACKY!!! Grace's staff was so unorganized and slow that my brother in law had to help them set up by unloading their 80lb+ speakers...this is my brother in law who's in the wedding and getting all sweaty and gross because he didn't want to delay our ceremony anymore than it had been. Well as if that's not all the worse of it, the wrong song was played when I walked down the aisle!!! Months before the wedding I told Grace I wanted Cannon D for my wedding march...as I approach the ceremony site, they're playing "Here Comes the Brid". Can these people get anything right??? I even reminded Grace of this the night before our wedding during the rehearsal! Everytime I hear Cannon D now I'm practically in tears! As a result of Grace's staff being so late, our ceremony ran nearly an hour past our schedule. We had to rush and take photos with what little light we had left. When we got to our own cocktail hour, the food was cold and dried out from sitting under heating lamps. The same goes for our reception...we were so late that all the food was ruined! I called Grace the day after our wedding in tears and she didn't even apologize for what happened. I asked for a refund and she scoffed at me! I'm in the customer service industry...when I hire someone to deliver goods or services, I expect them to. However, when those services are not delivered as I specifically instructed, then I don't feel compensation is deserved - simple as that. And this isn't a sandwich order somebody screwed up...this is my wedding for crying out loud - I'll never have another wedding day ever again!!! I approached Grace at a later date re this situation and she denied any wrongdoing on her part or her staff's part. Never mind the fact that I have my detailed cell phone bill showing the times I called her (minutes before my scheduled ceremony time), never mind the fact that I have 75 guests as witnesses that the ceremony didn't happen as scheduled and as printed on our ceremony handout and never mind the fact that the entire resort staff witnessed what happened since all of our guests hung out in their lobby and they had to figure out how to keep our food warm since we were running so late. I mean seriously, to accuse me of lying...what, did I pay everyone else to lie too? When you do something wrong, fess up to it - simple as that. I'm a reasonable person...I wouldn't be so upset if she would've admitted to her wrongdoing, issued me a refund along with an apology. Please, whatever you do, do NOT hire this company for your wedding services. My situation was so horrific that even the Atlantic Resort and Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale made it a point to stop referring their guests to use this company...they immediately cut all ties with A Seaside Wedding after my unfortunate situation. Need I say more???

Elegant occasions, NOT so elegant…read more This is so sad because this is my only bad review from ALL of my wedding vendors. Let's start off with my initial meeting with the owner Wayne (and Bryan)... I should have ran far far away after the bullshit this company put me through. First off, I was a bride who wanted a tent for my outdoor wedding on a golf course. I asked about a sailcloth tent and realized it was way out of my budget when I saw the price... (happens a lot to brides). So I was ready to explore the next option with them which was a clear top A-Frame tent. I was absolutely scolded for changing my mind to explore a more affordable option, to the point that I left the office and cried in my car. My fiancé straight up said he was an absolute dick. Red flag from day 1, not a great start. Anyways, the venue we were working with knew this company personally and still recommended me to use them. I went to Tents and Events and got a way better price from them and better customer service, but elegant occasions finally agreed to match their price. I was talked into going with elegant, and it only got worse from that moment. We hired them for a 50 by 90 clear tent, dance floor with a subfloor, DJ and sound system, and for the poles to be covered with a swagged fabric. We ended up paying this company 13,000. Yes, 13 THOUSAND DOLLARS. So they did not keep any communication from the second we paid them, until the final walkthrough meeting. Imagine that for a bride to deal with. WAYNE and BRYAN were supposed to be at the final walk though meeting, I mean they've only known since 11 months ago that we booked them. The final meeting was supposed to tie up all of our loose ends and answer any questions, and also decide on the placement of the tent. Guess who didn't show up and sent two "assistants". You guessed it, WAYNE AND BRYAN. The two MOST important people that should have been there. Now, if you're going to send an assistant with knowledge, cool. But EVERY SINGLE QUESTION WE ASKED, THEY HAD NOT EVEN ONE ANSWER. They didn't even have the contract in hand, they were holding a proposal email that had all the inaccurate information. Everything we asked, they said "we don't know we will have to ask Wayne and Bryan". I finally had a meltdown 3 days before the wedding because of this unprofessional company with an absolute jerk as an owner. I expressed to Bryan my feelings the day after, and he told me Wayne was going to give me a call. I never got a call, of course. Even Tents and Events called me to ask if I needed anything. How pathetic. I told Tents and Events that I regretted not hiring them, and they laughed when they heard Elegant Occasions. Clearly this has happened before. Sooo in the end, Wayne decided to put some dirty, broken, uneven dance floor. My entire wedding was beautiful (thanks to the venue and wedding planner) but the dance floor was just absolutely horrendous. It was installed the day before and I asked for it to be fixed. He told me it was another 1500 dollars to fix. He also got some cheap ass wrinkly fabric to cover the poles of the tent with. When I said to him that I paid an extra $1000 for them to be SWAGGED, he didn't care and then threatened to take them down. My dance floor was LAUGHABLE as well as a serious tripping hazard. It fell apart by the end of the night. I do NOT recommend this company for ANYTHING. My wedding planner had to harass them as well and she said she will never recommend them to a bride EVER.

She was a reccomendation from the woman at the Marriot who was assisting with our wedding. As soon as we got on the call, I knew I wanted to work with her. She was personable and eager to start. She immediately said lets hop on a call when ready and do a timeline. On the call, she took down every detail possible to make sure we would have no stress on the wedding day. She coordinated with our vendors and had all there information if something came up. On the wedding day, she was there bright and early and ready to go. From coordinating vendor set ups, all the details of the ceremony and reception, running around to make sure the bridal party was in the right place and keeping us and everyone else on time. Briana was so helpful in every way. Even the littlest things, she seemed to be there at every moment. Something as small as someone giving us a gift, she was right there to swoop in to take it and put in the box so we didnt have to carry it. She stayed until our after party to make sure everything was perfect for us. Weddings are stressful and stuff goes array. As a bride, I can tell you first hand you do not want to deal with these little issues as you are getting ready for your big moment. Hiring Briana helped relieve all of that stress! She even made sure at the end of our night to send up a cart to our room with everything packed up so we didnt have to think about it. It was all just done and made us feel better she was with us the whole night. Briana was amazing and I cant reccomend her enough for a Florida wedding. I promise you wont regret hiring her for your special moment and while you cringe paying some vendors - I can say first hand Briana was reasonably priced and worth ever penny! Cant reccomend enough and my family even commented how great it was to have her there.

We chose to use faux flowers, and I still cannot get over how luxurious everything looked. No one could tell the flowers were not real. In fact, we had multiple guests asking if they could take the centerpieces home because they were that stunning. Everything looked high end, elegant, and magical in the best way. She completely transformed the space and made the entire event feel warm, intimate, and unforgettable. We loved every single moment of it and felt so taken care of throughout the process. Her eye for design is incredible, and her ability to create something so beautiful and cohesive is truly a gift. If you are looking for an event designer who can create a luxurious, jaw dropping experience and make your vision come to life in the most beautiful way, MagicalMomintz Designs is absolutely the one.
